Drawing inspiration from the simplicity of the original trilogy, the improved movement from Resident Evil 4 and the exciting, gritty realism from Resident Evil 7, the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2 is the greatest genetic success to ever come out of the Umbrella Laboratories. An incredibly fresh-yet-classic experience that sets new standards on how a survival horror game should be designed in our era.

It seems that 2K Sports didn't rest at all and made even more improvements upon the series and especially in the MyCareer Mode. NBA 2K13 is the only basketball title available right now and it conquers the digital basketball courts with no competitor under the basket.

Issues with stealth aside (inadequate a.i. mostly) FromSoftware delivers another unique experience. After 40 hours of gameplay the sword fights even against the most common mobs where nothing sort of thrilling and ferociously satisfying. Even though it’s their most difficult game so far it rarely feels unfair, nudging us constantly to learn from our mistakes, learn the enemies and learn that the deathblow is only one katana slash away.

This is by far the most complete and compact Dragon Quest experience we have ever experienced, and a testament to the series’ bright future. A must-have for all Switch owners, players who haven’t experienced the game in its original form and owners of the previous game that would like to experience all the things that were sadly missing in the original release for the PS4 and PC.

It could be argued that Portal didn't need a sequel, such a unique and complete experience as it was, but since it got one, it might as well be this; a game that stays true to the spirit of the original, while at the same time expanding and adding onto it, without over-complicating the experience. If this is how Valve chose to spend their time instead of developing Episode 3, we're not going to be the ones to complain!
