If you'll ignore all the little hiccups then Sunbreak can offer you tens if not hundreds of hours of engaging gameplay. But sadly the game as a whole feels a little bit stale, so it's possible you won't be coming for more after beating the story campaign missions.- GameMAG

If only the developers took more time to tune in balance and camera, and made characters more distinguishable, than we could have a true indie gem. But even now the game is quite good.- GameMAG

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is another great off-road game that is based on previous MudRunner entries. But it's worth noting that the amount of content in this release is rather lacking.- GameMAG

Call of the Elder Gods is a perfectly worthy sequel to Call of the Sea, in which the authors shifted the focus toward varied and moderately challenging puzzles. The story also turned out to be quite engaging, though for some reason the authors didn't quite polish a number of their ideas, which somewhat mars the overall impression.- GameMAG

Assassin's Creed: Shadows is another experiment by Ubisoft Quebec. In some aspects, it was a success, but sometimes strange decisions by the developers spoil the experience, and the plot ends right at the most exciting moment.- GameMAG

Escaping the deep hell of early access Dread Templar manages to offer you a nostalgic and old-school gameplay style, which is more than enough to set it apart from other shooters in the market.- GameMAG

If you already invested more than 500 hours to the previous instalments of Trails of Cold Steel series, you would definitely enjoy seeing familiar faces and you would love the overall experience. But as a newcomer you should probably try earlier games first, just to see if you want to get invested in the whole franchise.- GameMAG

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin have one of the most in-depth and exciting monster breeding system ever made, but sadly it comes with rather archaic narrative and boring combat encounters.- GameMAG

Just Dance 2020 is quite a standard game for the series with a bright style and cute graphics, which has even fewer innovations than the next annual FIFA. The local tracklist looks very strange, because in Russia we have more popular artists than the Monatik. The story mode with Panda as a celebration of the series ' decade is clearly insufficient, as is the diverse but meager set of tracks. At the same time, if you already have a subscription to Just Dance Unlimited and any other version of the game, starting with Just Dance 2017, then there is no point in buying Just Dance 2020.- GameMAG

Atomic Hearts is an interesting case of ambitious scientific experiment. Even if not everything went smoothly, the results are still fun, exciting, and a bit uneven. What matters here — is a brave attempt at something rather bold. And who knows what tomorrow will bring, as practice makes perfect.- GameMAG

Ninja Gaiden 4 cannot be called a return to the roots of Tomonobu Itagaki. However, PlatinumGames has created a bloody slasher with complex and interesting bosses in memorable settings.- GameMAG

With Halloween season at the doors already, Rogue Lords can offer some nice time in the company of ghouls, zombies and vampires. The battles will be tough for sure, but don't fret because Devil will always play by his own rules.- GameMAG

It's hard to call Bravely Default II a masterpiece, but it's not trying to be one. Yet still it's a solid game, full of classic JRPG charm. And perhaps it's a great reminder of why we love the genre in the first place.- GameMAG

On the one hand Watch Dogs: Legion is a revolutionary game with ambitious open world and thousands upon thousands of characters, probably created by some kind of neural network. The gameplay is fine, and if you love original Watch Dogs, you will feel right at home with this new title. But on the other hand Legion clearly lacks a strong narrative lead.- GameMAG

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga turned out to be an exciting, though not an ideal game for the whole family. It offers a large amount of content, but it is obvious that the developers did not cope with the scale of their creation.- GameMAG

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection consists of two great and one really average games. Visually it's hard not to notice how old they are, even in 4K. It would be great if the developers took their time to update some of the textures and models, but even still, the gameplay remains the king. If great high speed action is something you can enjoy, and you can live with outdated graphics, then consider picking this collection up.- GameMAG

I’m not trying to judge an old game by modern standards, but it’s still worth remembering that the original is 22 years old, and it probably would’ve benefited more from a full remake than a remaster. So before jumping into a classic like this, it’s important to keep its age and quirks in mind. That said, on a purely personal level, I still enjoy the gameplay of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver much more than what Legacy of Kain: Defiance offers.- GameMAG

All the tweaks and cosmetic improvements are clearly not enough to consider Layers of Fear 2023 a completely new game. If you were not familiar with the original releases, then be sure to try the compilation. But apart from the main plot, the writer's storyline is clearly not worth the money.- GameMAG
