Despite having a solid atmosphere and an occasional interesting puzzle, it unfortunately fails to capture the depth of the games it's replicating.- GameGrin

Although rough at times, Calappa Games have created something fun and light-hearted that a lot of people will get their fair share of joy from.- GameGrin

Studio Sott has managed to create a short game filled with wonderful characters and atmosphere. This brilliantly realised story reminds me of The Shining but filled with Mr Men. While Hotel Sowls doesn’t innovate the basic point and click formula, it fills it with quality content and a surrealist vibe that really elevates itself. It’s just a bit short.- GameGrin

GEESE vs CTHULHU brings a charm and quirkiness to indie games similar to its renaissance in the early 2010s. It’s colourful, loud and joyous despite its occasional faults. Is it rough around the edges at times? Definitely, but it more than makes up for in creativity.- GameGrin

If you’re a fan of the series then you can’t go wrong, but it’s not the strongest game in the franchise with its plain bad battle system, regardless of how charming and beautiful it is.- GameGrin

Destroy All Humans is a fantastic, faithful experience. Both older fans and new fans will find a lot of enjoyment here and hopefully we will see a lot more of Crypto’s antics going into the new generation.- GameGrin

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a fun title but the main issues from the PC version are still very much present on the console version and it seriously hindered my enjoyment of the game.- GameGrin

Hunting Simulator 2 combines arcade and simulator elements to form a game that lacks much of an identity. Hardcore hunting enthusiasts will find things too simplistic; players after an animal shoot ‘em up will be frustrated by the more realistic elements. While not completely devoid of fun, it’s just too dull to fully recommend.- GameGrin

A fun little bullet hell that has a ton of replay value and a charming visual appeal. Quite an approachable entry for those daunted by other shoot ‘em ups with a scoring system that rewards skill.- GameGrin

It’s not the best puzzle title on the Switch and it has some flaws, but Monochrome World is a solid puzzler that’s enjoyable in short bursts. Don’t expect too much of it and you might have a bit of fun, but probably best to wait for a sale before purchasing.- GameGrin

Overall my time in Disintegration was a fun one, however it just left something to be desired in terms of shooting, or the RTS mechanics, I really hope that if there is a sequel to this game that they drastically improve the shooting mechanics. Multiplayer is fun and I can’t wait to spend more time with it.- GameGrin

With dark humour and comic violence, this is a game that will appeal to fans of puzzle platformers and schadenfreude alike. A great indie title that’s a worthy addition to anybody’s Steam library. Fantastic both in solo and co-op mode.- GameGrin

This is the pinnacle of Formula 1 in videogame form. In a year fraught with difficulties for real world motorsport, Codemasters have delivered a solid experience that should keep you in the hot seat, especially with the immersion factor of the new My Team mode.- GameGrin

Overall Demon’s Rise - War For The Deep was an interesting game with very unique concepts, however there are a lot of bugs in the Switch port that really make the game tougher to play, which makes me curious about the Steam version.- GameGrin

A fantastic adventure with some at-times brain bending puzzles that stays remarkably true to the original game. Some minor technical issues mar the experience slightly but it’s a great return for Foster and Joey.- GameGrin

It’s easy to see why Phantom: Covert Ops received the commendations it did at E3 2019, and it’s now taken the second spot on my personal recommendation list of must-have VR titles. Here’s hoping this isn’t the last we’ve seen in the Phantom line.- GameGrin

An enjoyable time capsule of a game that can unfortunately feel a bit unfair due to its age combined with some quirky controls. Non-stop retro action with great pixel art and two stunning soundtracks that is worth your time if it’s something that appeals.- GameGrin

Even with its many imperfections, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated ultimately succeeds as an attempt to spruce up a 17-year old game. It doesn’t stand alongside the 3D platforming greats, but it’s a fantastic, humour-filled tribute to a beloved show. People less familiar with the yellow sea sponge’s exploits will find it harder to overlook the creaky, PlayStation 2-era quirks. It looks better, but that doesn’t mean it plays better than it did 17 years ago.- GameGrin

Summer In Mara is a beautiful yet frustrating effort that fails to live up to its massive potential. Despite its masterful storytelling, Chibig fills the game’s remaining hours with repetitive fetch quests and an empty world not worth exploring. It makes me sad but for the wrong reasons.- GameGrin

A perfectly serviceable if underwhelming remaster that brings the Vita game to the PS4. A fine RPG that will keep you entertained but it’s definitely not the best the Ys series has to offer. A bit of a missed opportunity.- GameGrin
