I've sunk dozens of hours into Heroes of Hammerwatch and eagerly await the chance to spend dozens more. With numerous layers of progression systems, multiple distinct classes and more content than seems reasonable for its low price tag, Heroes of Hammerwatch is a must-play for roguelike fanatics or people after their dungeon-crawling fix.- GameGrin

A beautiful anime racing title that has a lot of customization and mechanics to love. If you aren’t a big fan of high school type anime, this may not be the game for you.- GameGrin

With dreadful driving controls, insufficient content and an egregious price tag, it’s hard to recommend Fast & Furious Crossroads to anyone unless you are a die-hard Fast & Furious fan. Even then, wait for a steep sale.- GameGrin

A strong debut title from Ludic Studios and one to play on and off when you want a sword fight with no strings attached.- GameGrin

Spitlings is a colourful, crazy, hectic game that will have you laughing and probably yelling with your friends; this is a must-play party game. With one hundred different Spitlings to collect, will you get them all? Or will you surrender and bow down at the feet of your slime bubble overlords?- GameGrin

Varied items, engrossing gameplay and a killer soundtrack make Risk of Rain 2 one of the best roguelike shooters in recent years. The lack of a mid-game save feature and some uninspired environments hold this sequel back, but the astonishing translation from 2D to 3D more than makes up for it.- GameGrin

There’s not really many ways of sugar coating it; this game is a mess on Xbox One and isn’t worth your time. Surely any other fishing game would be worth considering if you have that urge.- GameGrin

Hellbound is a great experience. Although it does rely heavily on the DOOM aesthetic, Saibot Studios have created a core gameplay experience that could be the launchpad of something brilliant.- GameGrin

Tiny Racer looks like a super cool toy car driving game but the controls and crazy glitches make this game more frustrating than anything. Even the comic book "sound effect" words don't help it.- GameGrin

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best open-world games this generation with a thrilling tale of revenge, great characters, satisfying swordplay and a stunning world that’s chock-full of things to do making it so easy to get lost in this game for hours at a time.- GameGrin

Waking is a game that attempts to be two very different things, and for the most part, it succeeds quite well. If you’re willing to devote a little bit of time to learning its quirky systems, you’re in for a potentially rewarding experience. An experience which encourages you to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and go back into your memories.- GameGrin

Studio Sott has managed to create a short game filled with wonderful characters and atmosphere. This brilliantly realised story reminds me of The Shining but filled with Mr Men. While Hotel Sowls doesn’t innovate the basic point and click formula, it fills it with quality content and a surrealist vibe that really elevates itself. It’s just a bit short.- GameGrin

GEESE vs CTHULHU brings a charm and quirkiness to indie games similar to its renaissance in the early 2010s. It’s colourful, loud and joyous despite its occasional faults. Is it rough around the edges at times? Definitely, but it more than makes up for in creativity.- GameGrin
