Although currently HoPiKo's controls are not perfect, the combination of electric visuals, music and pace achieves both the best and the worst of drinking too much coffee, but in videogame format.

Traveller’s Tales return to the LEGO fray is a double-edged sword of good intentions, and the over-complication of its famous brand of gameplay. At its best, The Skywalker Saga sees itself touching greatness it hasn’t seen since the seventh generation of gaming.

In Sink is a fun co-op puzzler with multiple themed levels and some great puzzles. It can be a bit clunky and confusing at times, but taking a break and coming back to it is often enough to ensure a great experience!

Though the amount of content is definitely lacking in Fred3ric, it offers straightforward gameplay and enjoyable melodies. Detailed backdrops also enhance the experience and keep levels looking fresh.

A fairly unique title with a bit less in it than I would like. It’s fun and relatively low-priced, however, so it’s probably worth taking a risk on a cheap 90 minutes of something that’s unlike most other games.

Although Dreamfall Chapters fills in the checklist for an adventure story game, it still leaves some room for improvement. The game is good overall, but just don't expect it to be a dream come true.

Despite feeling automated at times, Construction Simulator was still a fun and very relaxed experience that simulator fans should absolutely check out.

The Crow’s Eye is excellent platform puzzler with an intriguing story. I can’t consider it being an actual horror title, especially as a psychological terror that the developers, 3D2 Entertainment describes, but as an atmospheric first-person adventure, it has a lot going for it. It can be easily recommended for fans of puzzle-adventure titles shrouded in mystery.

Honestly, if this was a slightly longer experience this could easily top my expectations of what a gold standard of VNs should be. But, when factoring the length and cost, as well as the main demographic. This is a fanservice game through and through. For better or worse.

With a number of unlockables and different ways to improve your chances of survival, there are plenty of ways to play this title. Though the initial learning curve can be somewhat tough to get around it is worth as Nongunz is a satisfying title when you get the hang of it. Of course, it is not a game that will click with everyone but if it does you will absolutely love it.

A solid, if slightly underwhelming remaster of an underappreciated gem of an action RPG. Well worth your time, especially if you missed out on it the first time around. Subtle visual tweaks but some more useful under-the-hood fiddling make it the definitive version of the game.

Ammo and Oxygen is a nice change of pace in the roguelite genre that makes you carefully manage every resource and upgrade you can get your hands on just to survive.

Urban Trial Freestyle 2 is a very good game, with very few negatives, only minor gripes. The graphics look high end for the Nintendo 3DS, and the gameplay and depth to the game was more than I had expected. The ragdoll physics were as amusing as you'd expect, and the track creator was a fantastic addition. When you merge all that together, you get Urban Trial Freestyle 2 - a game that got me using my 3DS again!

A few technical issues and simplified gameplay detract from an otherwise engaging narrative, with a likeable cast of characters. Just don’t expect too much strategic thinking.

Veritus is a great-looking and sounding game that feels like a retro title from the past. With no map, it can be quite challenging, but for this price, it is worth the frustration.

Attentat 1942 is a full-motion video game that hits you hard with a harrowing story and dozens of facts from the era. Although, the mini games are slightly lacking, they do create some tension for an overall exciting and interesting experience. A must play if you have an interest in history, and want to learn more about the German occupation of Czechoslovakia.

A challenging battle game that has you fighting head-to-head against aliens in a reality TV show to gain your freedom. It takes a while to get used to how the controls work and feel, but once you do this is a very addictive game.

Though I genuinely loved my time with Venba, I could not swallow the steep asking price for the short, one-hour experience that you will have. It's a great, tear-jerking story that immigrants will resonate with, but there isn't enough here to justify the entry fee.
