There’s so much potential here, but Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire just feels rushed and unpolished. I had high hopes, but they just didn’t fly.- GameGrin

A great concept that has been executed dreadfully. Not funny enough to be a good parody, not detailed enough for a good simulation. It’s neither funny enough to be amusing or serious enough to be engaging and ultimately never rises above mediocrity.- GameGrin

An average game that does what it does well, however a price tag way too high, low populated servers and annoying enemies means I can not in good conscience recommend this to anyone. Avoid this game.- GameGrin

All in all, Tennis World Tour 2 marks a notable improvement over its predecessor. Though, admittedly, that’s not saying too much when you consider just how poor it was. This seems like a franchise on the right track now but there’s a long road ahead before it can match and compete with other top sporting videogames.- GameGrin

Hurting wrists may be a similar problem to baking in real life, but that shouldn’t be the case for games. Needs more depth of gameplay before it’s ready to be served as an exceptional game, and not as a good one.- GameGrin

The art was fairly pleasant and vividly detailed. I enjoyed looking at the scenery and characters as they were drawn well. But with the horribly painful interactions and long drawn out scenes of nothing that I had to force myself to get through, the art just didn’t make up for it.- GameGrin

A very generic RPG with city building elements and a dodgy control system.- GameGrin

This was yet another game that on the surface appeared to be highly playable. I just could not overlook the simple missteps and lack of story, no matter how mystifying the visuals were. This game is another prime example of a developer overlooking the minute in favor of glamour.- GameGrin

This is a spin off that simply shouldn't be. It tries to take on too many ideas without forming an interesting and engaging core. With boring characters and a story that requires more cutscenes than gameplay, this game really exemplifies why show, don't tell is still true.- GameGrin

There is too much wrong with Sonic Forces to recommend it to everyone, but if you’re hankering for 3D Sonic, and you’ve finished every other Sonic game, then check it out on sale.- GameGrin

Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight is unpolished and suffers from its slow start and lack of story. It’s not a standout game, not even a particularly good one...but there’s something there. It’s an introductory step by a fledgling developer that shows real promise.- GameGrin

HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT is fun when it works, but its lack of content, polish, and dysfunctional online make it a hard sell, especially at its price point.- GameGrin

For what could be an exciting arcade racer Table Top Racing: World Tour fails to make an impression. It's an acceptable racer but it does little to distinguish itself leaving it feeling standard and boring.- GameGrin

A great base to build from for the future but in its current state it’s hard to recommend until Frontier gets in front of the performance issues and bugs that plague Odyssey right now.- GameGrin

All in all, Akiba’s Beat is a solid game that presents itself very well. Despite a couple of flaws here and there, the title offers a lot in the way of content and entertainment value. Whether it’s the interesting visuals, the great use of music, or the well-constructed story, it’s not hard to see how this game beats out the competition.- GameGrin

Bohemian Killing is a promising but ultimately disappointing game, a great story and world let down by frustrating - and sometimes buggy - mechanics.- GameGrin

With a storyline that is clearly angry at western values, Mr. Prepper can do nothing but try and stand out with a story that comes at the sacrifice of compelling gameplay. The attempts to challenge with a forced playstyle may turn off potential window shoppers.- GameGrin

Nadir: A Grimdark Deckbuilder seems like the developers wanted to make a roguelike and then decided to make a story-focused game halfway through without ever following through on that desire. If Black Eye Games had fixed some of this game’s glaring issues, we could’ve had something cool here, but there are still much better options out there.- GameGrin

Sloppy controls, an aimless direction, and atrocious level design hinders Dynamic Pixel's newest entry in the Hello Neighbor series from reaching the potential that many believe it has. While a whimsical art style and great performance across a variety of performance are great to see, Hide & Seek results in a forgettable and frustrating experience overall.- GameGrin

A.W. Phoenix Festa does a decent enough job at transferring the characters and setting of the anime to the Vita but does a terrible job of explaining those things for newcomers. The combination of dating sim and battling works well but no individual part excels.- GameGrin

As a budget release on the 3DS eShop, and if approached as something to play in short bursts, Sadame is worth a purchase after you’ve already exhausted the best this handheld has to offer. By no means a bad game, Sadame is a 2D hack-and-slash ultimately carried by its cross-character interaction, with the often dull combat holding it back from anything more than mediocrity.- GameGrin
