The overwhelming sense of Grandpa Mario racing around his garage lingers in the back of your mind as you twist and turn your way through these short tracks.

It has a fun, solid base, but it lacks the spark that makes a game like this one unique.

Table Top Racing World Tour fails of its essential purpose: be funny without any complications.

It also has no local multiplayer, which seems bizarre as it would really boost the game’s lifespan but hopefully this will come in a future update. Until then, you may as well give it a try while it’s on PlayStation Plus, however, Table Top Racing: World Tour remains an entirely forgettable experience, full of caveats and missed opportunities.

For what could be an exciting arcade racer Table Top Racing: World Tour fails to make an impression. It's an acceptable racer but it does little to distinguish itself leaving it feeling standard and boring.

Sure, it'll probably provide you with a cheap thrill for 10 minutes or so, but look any further, and you'll realise that this is just the chassis of a far better game.

Table Top Racer definitely lives up to the name and has pretty cool soundtracks and map modes!

The game modes are really cool, you have a time trial mode to beat certain lap times while collecting power ups such as nitrous to get the best time score as quickly as possible, you have a drift mode where you're able to equip the drift tires in the game to slide better than having to use the normal tires and try your best to score higher than the given score. there's a lot more game modes and countless hours of fun and a few challenges for players of all ages and skill levels.

Customization was something I didn't think would happen to this game but I was actually surprised.
you can change the design of your car and change the rims of your car. I do hope the customization selections starts to grow (which will happen in the future) but in all honesty it's pretty darn good game. not to mention when you change the rims of your car you have different effects in the game. some rims will help you jump higher, drift better, take out your opponent and even GAIN YOU MOAR MONEY!

I can go on and on with this great game, I hope to see more import cars in this game as well, I'll definitely recommend this game to my friends!

Great presentation and course design, everything runs very smoothly and fluidly. The tracks are very reminiscent of Micro Machines with lots of fun scenery and obstacles. Good array of vehicles and modifications available and the car names are amusing but recognisable as their real world manufacturers.

Fun online multiplayer which also works very smoothly.

Hopefully some more local multiplayer modes such as a single screen drop-out style races will be added later.

This game shows some real promise if DLC continues to be produced.

Well done to the team at Playrise. Time to take over the fallen crown of the Supersonic team!

That time again, and another few games to get my teeth into.

Table Top Racing initially reminded me of Micro-machines for the Amiga 500+. The mods to cars are pretty limited, but actually mean the races are often down to skill and a little luck once you reach a championship race. The unlocking of events makes for addictive and rewarding early grind, or if your a natural, less grinding!

I'm not a fan of cars. Motor racing i associate with 2hours of going round in a loop with a car winning from the off and finally winning it. Most car games reflect this boredom i feel for the sport - but this, alongside the excellent Rocket League make excellent exceptions to the rule. This is an arcade like driving game, it feels like a more physics based mario-kart than anything else.

Graphics are ok, nothing special, and the music isn't really to my taste, but it works.

My only real flaw in this game is how easy it is to go from 1st to 8th due to what i see as AI bugs - generally AI opponents use their weapons against the leader, but i do find sometimes I'd be in the middle of the pack and seem to be the only one singled out for a rocket in my face.

A fun game though, for FREE, a great game, if it wasn't I'd still pay £10 for this

The driving is poor, as turning feels awful, there is no fluidity to movement, as you just feel you are navigating this big metal block. Maneuvers such as drifting aren't receptive, as well as crashes. No damage to vehicles. Pickups are boring standard run of the mill stuff. Game feels very bare bones. There are a fun standard modes, and every map/track feels same with a different coat of paint (background). Online play is the playing the same mode on the small amount of maps, and if you get behind you never catch up. I played for 30 min and started to feel repetitive. If you want to grind the AI championships you can unlock higher level cars race the computer with, but that's about it. There's nothing distinctive or interesting about this game besides that you are supposed to be small in tabletop environements. But the driving and control is poor, as well as the combat/itemization. Feels like a low-budget indie game. Play mario kart instead. Expand

The multiplayer : You can't kick afks, you can't disable the cars from DLC so you HAVE to buy IT. No ping displayed, playing with people teleporting side to side is just a joke ( and my isp is OK) and so on . Basically is a pay to win. Dont buy this "game" Expand
