Sandbox possibilities and endless ‘what-if’ questions bump up what is already an impressive level of replayability. Paradox Interactive have created a game that strategy gamers and history buffs should get on their shelves as soon as possible.- GameGrin

With only a few small niggles to complain about, Yoku’s Island Express successfully merges pinball and platforming without ever making the former feel like a gimmick. Its beautiful presentation and fun, engaging exploration blend together to create a truly unique experience.- GameGrin

Resident Evil Village is an expertly-crafted narrative that seamlessly weaves subtle horror into action-driven sequences and backs it up with an excellent story supported by even better characters. An exemplary merit that Capcom still hasn’t lost its creative spark.- GameGrin

Although the game could use a bit of polish around its UI framework, a ton of thought was put into countless popular culture references and cubed graphics. If you’re looking for a gorefest though, this isn’t the place to find one.- GameGrin

While it does seem to focus on being grind-heavy with many modes and mutators needing to be unlocked with coins, you can enjoy yourself fully even with the bare bones, because the game is always shaking things up, and continually testing the boundaries of friendships and your sanity.- GameGrin

In a genre of some truly fantastic games, Roguebook stands up there with the best of them. Whilst the story is minimalistic and the lack of world variety is disappointing , the engaging combat makes this easily one of the most polished deckbuilders I’ve played.- GameGrin

Digimon Survive has both a well-made story and a deep combat system that will engage players through each route they may take, but the first few hours are ill-paced with long breaks away from combat.- GameGrin

Pine Hearts is an exploration game with bittersweet undertones, merging childhood memories with that of a more grown-up perspective. It’s a narrative for all ages and one that’s flaws don’t detract from the overall experience.- GameGrin

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO feels like a faithful continuation of the series. Beautiful visuals and epic combat make for a great combination and the creative What If scenarios were a treat to explore. A definite recommendation for fans. The AI cheats, though.- GameGrin

Another solid chapter with a lot to keep you invested, the only real complaint is that it’s more of the same. An interesting cast of supporting characters and the core mystery keeps the campaign engaging.- GameGrin

A perfect continuation of what Bugbear has done previously with the Flatout series. They may no longer hold the license to that IP, but they definitely still have the spirit of it. This is a perfect blend of customisation and carnage, with something for everyone. I can’t recommend it enough, and it deserves to be just as popular as the games that came before it.- GameGrin

Superb writing and a unique combat system combine to make The Banner Saga 2 something quite special, in the same way it did back in 2014. The larger variety and frequent introduction of enemy types stops The Banner Saga 2 from becoming dull and repetitive. The Banner Saga is fast becoming one of the best series in modern games, with some of the strongest characterisation and world-building in years.- GameGrin

Quite possibly the best FMV game ever, Not For Broadcast had me both laughing and scrambling in a panic when the channel's viewership dropped. Even if you’ve never had any interest in FMV games before, Not For Broadcast will surely change your mind.- GameGrin

The most subversive twist in first-person shooter mechanics, on a par with its minimalistic and powerful visual style, SUPERHOT does not disappoint. Even though the story can be a bit too obtuse at times, the way the game plays out wrap it all up quite nicely, commenting on why we choose first-person shooters so often.- GameGrin

With how disappointed I am in the final product, it’s still hard to call One Step From Eden a bad game. The boss fights are memorable, it has an appropriately fast-paced soundtrack, and for brief moments it can feel like a complete, cohesive experience. However, the roguelite elements are just not implemented well enough to make each run feel fresh, and actively work against the decent core battle system.- GameGrin

Extremely well put together remasters that stay true to the original games. Travis’ brash personality is fun to inhabit and the combat is still extremely satisfying. The series is well worth your time, especially if you missed out on them originally.- GameGrin

Backfirewall_ is a great mix of solid storytelling, clever puzzles, and tech puns. While it offers nothing new to the first-person puzzle genre, it’s a well-crafted experience with a unique premise and an interesting cast of characters.- GameGrin
