Although a passionate display of Drop Bear Bytes’ native culture and heritage, and a beautiful visual and audio experience, Broken Roads is stuck as a missed opportunity where its shortcomings outweigh the diamond-in-the-rough potential.

Reigns Beyond is a comedic swiping narrative title that is fun to play, but I wish there was more depth to the music segments of the game.

Withering Rooms feels like a fresh take on the roguelike genre. A clunky combat system and a story that doesn’t quite draw players in aside, this is still an enjoyable game and a good first attempt for the developer.

Despite this being a disappointing re-release of beloved classics, I still had an enjoyable trip down memory lane playing the single-player content. That said, the minimal improvements aren’t enough to recommend at the current price.

Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is a lovely interactive productivity tool that radiates positive, relaxing vibes. With cute spirits and customisations, getting work done has never been so cosy.

Manic Mechanics is a really nice game with some great accomplishments that is really held back by a multitude of small, annoying issues.

The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology is a clear love letter to the Redwall series. Unfortunately, tedious gameplay and a bland story means it doesn’t quite live up to the novels.

Verne: The Shape of Fantasy tells an interesting story with beautiful graphics and a charming atmosphere, yet the gameplay can feel a bit lacking and repetitive at times.

Tents and Trees is a great example of a coffee or morning game to play and something to do after a long day of work.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is a fun arcade experience for home with up to four players, but it is very short.

Crystal Comet could use a little restraint but the experience it provides is still very fun to go through. You will not see what’s going to happen next.

Sheba: A New Dawn is a fine game, but it lacks details in explanations and guidance and makes some less-than-fun design decisions. You will need a guide to get through this game, and that just isn’t fair.

WE ARE FOOTBALL 2024 may not be a revolutionary game in the football management sim genre, but it's a much more accessible title for fans who don’t want to get too into managing their own club.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is for fans of turn-based RPGs. It’s challenging, has great heroes, and a deep story. It will pull you in.

With striking visuals and satisfyingly smooth combat, Death of a Wish is an action-packed RPG that you won’t want to miss.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a really great game with some issues and really great potential for a complete universe, and it’s impossible not to recommend it.

Cryptrio is a puzzle title that feels similar to others you have played before but changes things up to make it feel unique and challenging.

Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors is a fun enough Survivors title to sink time into, though avoid it if you’re looking for in-depth Pathfinder lore. The companion system adds a layer of strategy to each run, but beware of their buggy behaviour!

Horizon Forbidden West is a fantastic sequel, and despite some issues, is absolutely worth the play.

What Dragon’s Dogma 2 does well is the wonder of exploration and adventure. The world is beautiful, the Vocations are flashy, and the fights are bombastic. A hearty recommendation for old hats and fresh faces alike!

KinnikuNeko: SUPER MUSCLE CAT is one of the craziest titles that I have ever played. Being a cat with a muscular human body was so fun!

Freedom Planet 2 takes everything great about the first game, adds a bit of polish and some extra mechanics, and gives us an absolute beast of a game. I cannot praise it enough, it’s just brilliant fun!

Planet Crafter is a very peaceful, satisfying game worth dumping your hours into. It’s a game you play to relax after a hard day’s work, and what better way to show it than by turning a lifeless rock into somewhere you can call home?

Go Fight Fantastic is a high-energy hack n’ slash that feels repetitive after a while, but playing multiplayer added to the fun.

Taxi LIfe: A City Driving Simulator is a really good idea for a game ruined by a lack of goals, bad area design, optimisation issues, and awful controls.

Buckshot Roulette is short if you know what you’re doing, but like any good gambling addiction, you can’t help but come back for more.

Although let down by some design choices and lack of player involvement, Murders on the Yangtze River still offers fans of the genre a good time.

A wrestling game worthy of the title of GOAT, WWE 2K24 is packed with fun, engaging content that will give fans everything they want, and more!

Minishoot’ Adventures is great, plain and simple. It’s oozing charm from its art style and UI to gameplay and exploration. It’s a game you want to complete 100%, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hellstuck: Rage With Your Friends is a game for people who want a real challenge; this title is not for the faint-hearted and requires an insane amount of patience!

REAL ESTATE Simulator - FROM BUM TO MILLIONAIRE is a dull, repetitive sim that lacks depth. If you’re looking for an original, dynamic real estate game, you won’t find it here.

Though it could do with cutting some of its jumpscares, the creepy atmosphere and premise make The Complex Tragedy worth a try if you’re looking for a short indie horror game to spend an hour with.

An exciting idea combining two popular genres that unfortunately fails to be an enjoyable experience, mainly because of its stale gameplay.

Punch A Bunch may be an evening-sized title, but its exciting one-on-one combat and challenging gameplay make it an experience that I genuinely wish I had had more of.

Pepper Grinder is a unique and challenging title that has you drilling through everything to recover your stolen treasure. With great visuals and jazzy music, this is a title to check out!

A stress-free city builder with a fun, original gameplay loop, Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is sure to delight both experts and newcomers alike.

Rescue: The Beagles isn’t a bad time and you can definitely have a ton of fun in co-op. However, don’t expect to lose hours to it.

South Park: Snow Days! This game is full of humour and personality, combined with great visuals and music. It’s so much fun to play!

RoboSync is a really charming puzzle with great solutions that will satisfy once executed perfectly. It’s a short time, and there’s a feeling that it could’ve expanded its scope a little, but you can’t deny its charm and challenge.

Everything in Welcome to ParadiZe works mechanically and the Zombot is an interesting idea. However, it is let down by a boring gameplay loop.

Contra: Operation Galuga is a worthy entry in the Contra series. The run-’n’-gun action is addictive; combined with great visuals and music, this is a game to check out and replay.

Hex Gambit: Respawned is an interesting update to strategy board games from the past. Learning how to play is easy, but not being able to create your own team added an extra level of challenge.

Dynacat would be much more enjoyable if the mechanics and controls were less fumbled. It’s a charming platformer, but it’s too awkward to be as much fun as it ought to be.

EVERING is a turn-based RPG with a great story that plays like retro titles while feeling new and fresh! Neglecting to have an autosave feature makes this title extra challenging.

Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is a beautiful game that offers a relaxing experience, but some design choices clearly need extra watering. Unfortunately, its stylish charm can’t make up for repetitive gameplay and lacklustre progression.

It’s hard to completely escape the translation issues, but KONOSUBA - God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire! is the visual novel for you if you want a light-hearted romp with plenty of charm. Just be ready for kinky stuff.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds is a fun survival game with some inventive ideas, though it may suffer from being released a bit early. If you are a fan of the genre, it may be worth picking up, especially with friends!

A return to form for the franchise, Alone in the Dark masterfully tells an intriguing narrative mixed with solid acting and an engaging gameplay loop.

Although it holds up well aesthetically, The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered is an underwhelming grind fest with not enough interesting narrative to keep players engaged.

Outcast – A New Beginning is a fun time and something fans of the first game may enjoy. It has some issues, but it's worth experiencing and protecting Adelpha from anyone who wishes to destroy it.

Nyaaaanvy is a crazy and bizarre battler that is incredibly accessible and shines when you play multiplayer. If you have friends and family to play with, this is sure to be a popular title.

While The Thaumaturge has a slow start there is a wealth of lore and tactics here to suck in players and a challenging combat to get to grips with.

With a surprisingly long length, All of Us Are Dead is sure to be worth your time and your money if zombie apocalypses, visual novels, and charming —if not slightly dark— coming-of-age stories are your kind of thing.

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning has some great chemistry between the two protagonists, a new take on the apocalypse, and tons of laughs to have. Just beware: it's very edgy!

Slave Zero X is an interesting-looking action beat ‘em up title with a few bugs and feels a bit repetitive, but if you just want to kill tonnes of enemies, you will enjoy this.

Stolen Realm is a fun RPG to play with friends and by yourself, especially if you don’t have the time or resources to set an entire campaign. Make sure you know what you’re doing and you’ll come out fine.

A really great game with an amazing, emotional story and beautiful artwork that loses a lot from its short playtime.

Ultros is a unique title set in a psychedelic world, introducing new gameplay aspects like eating the things that you kill to get stronger and gardening to progress in the story.

Another fairly run-of-the-mill job sim title, Arena Renovation may be enjoyable for a few hours, but quickly gets repetitive and offers little innovation.

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a beautiful and laid-back game with fun mechanics, charming dialogue, and a fitting story. While not long, it’s worth every moment.

Berserk Boy is a fun and challenging platformer with metroidvania elements and useful abilities that you will use during every stage you play. This is a title that you should check out.

The Top Racer Collection is a fun racing collection if you enjoy racing games from the ‘90s. The game is vibrant and crisp, and with a banging soundtrack, you will love it!

Pacific Drive is like a road trip: It requires a lot of preparation and planning, but the journey is always worth the experience. Just watch out for the radiation.

There’s not a lot here that’s new, so your mileage may vary, but Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake retains all the character and charm of the original in a sexy new dress.

Death from Above is a fun, if short, time that makes the most of it with compelling drone gameplay. If you want to support the Ukrainian war effort, this is a good option.

Skull and Bones is simply uninspired and tells a boring story, yet is relatively fun in its moment-to-moment gameplay.

Of Murder and Moonshine is a game set during Prohibition and the rise of organised crime during this period. It’s fun and challenging to take on the role of a hitman trying to take out your target.

WRATH: Aeon of Ruin is a very fun time, but it's not for everyone. You’ll find expansive levels and worthy challenges to conquer for those willing and ready to face what it offers.

Sovereign Syndicate is an enjoyable tale of three people, murder, revenge, and redemption. Though the lack of voice acting and minor bugs may keep some away, if you’re in the market for a good story and an interesting mystery, I recommend giving it a try!

A fun little experience, with some interesting mechanics, yet stumbles to stick the landing.

UDO is a great game if you loved Downwell, with its fast-paced gameplay loop and “one more try” type of feeling after each and every failure.

This game is fun and addictive, but damn, it can be frustrating when you have a great weapon and items and then die, making you have to start from the beginning with nothing.

Sokobond Express is a delightful little puzzle game that doesn’t talk down to you. It’s both relaxing and easy to play, making it a perfect game for all ages.

8-Colors Star Guardians + is a fun and challenging turn-based battler where you play as a group of sentai-like superheroes. It looks easy, but it takes strategy to be successful!

Boxes: Lost Fragments is a beautiful, wondrous puzzler. Setting aside the thin narrative and short runtime, the creativity and attention to detail are remarkable.

Persona 3 Reload is a beautiful-looking game with a great story and interesting characters. There is so much going on here, but it all works together in an immensely satisfying way.

Chronique des Silencieux is a feast for the eyes and a fantastic test for your detective skills, but the controls and difficulty go a little too far beyond clunky to truly call it a masterpiece.

A unique narrative adventure, Grotto is visually striking and full of magical charm, but a lack of definitive choices may put some players off this intriguing tale.

Kingsvein has some interesting concepts with a novel levelling and class system, but its difficulty and lack of explanation might turn some off.

Shanghai Summer has an enjoyable story that kept me intrigued and will be a sure hit for fans of Erased or Your Name. However, there are some minor issues that may detract some players, such as grammar and some minor graphical issues.

Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk is an interesting game, but there are little things that may frustrate players. As the first of an episodic series, it feels a little bit expensive, especially for the number of hours you get out of it.

Lil’ Guardsman is a cute yet hilarious point-and-click adventure with a surprisingly deep story. No level is the same, and it has a lot of heart, making it perfect for anyone wanting to have a laugh.

Although the updated visuals are a welcome addition, the modern controls are poorly implemented. However, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is an absolute must-buy for fans of Lara’s original adventures.

Without a load of graphical bells and whistles in the way, there’s a clarity and streamlined nature to the game that lets the dynamic world and combat system leap to the fore. Give this one a try, you won’t regret it.

While it’s better than it could have been, it also could have been much more. As a live service game with an unfinished main story, I wouldn’t feel bad about waiting for more content to drop over the coming months before you pick it up.

Witch’s Rhythm Puzzle is a fun rhythm game with a silly story and entertaining music to time your block placement along with. If you like Ecchi-style games, this is going to be a title to check out!

DREAMERS is well-suited for anyone of any age who just wants to kick back and enjoy a light-hearted puzzle adventure. Just be prepared for a good amount of backtracking!

Card Survivors isn’t bad, but it should’ve been so much more. It’s better as a mobile game than something you’d play on PC.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is astounding, and the way it tells a compelling story and connects you to the characters is really impressive. It’s impossible not to recommend this masterpiece of a game.

Computer Repair Shop is a work simulator with boring gameplay and some optimisation issues that aren’t at all justified based on how the game looks.

War Hospital has some interesting ideas, but the game has some issues and bugs that ruin the experience currently.

A masterclass in fighting game design, perfect for both new and old players alike.
