When given the opportunity to perhaps offer something new or different, Samurai Warriors Chronicles fails to deliver anything worth while.

It's far from being an awful game, even with it's glaring flaws. Race tracks are nice to look at, car models are detailed and the overall presentation is rather solid. But the more players dig into it, the more they will realize that somehow, Eutechnyx missed the boat.

Ultimately, Moon Diver doesn't stray from its old-school roots and only the most masochistic gamers will find much joy here.

Those hoping that issues regarding the combat and the camera had been solved will be sorely disappointed. However, if you were content with how Dissidia played out and were craving more, then Dissidia 012: Duodecim: Final Fantasy gives you more of the same.

The exclusion of a few modes is a glaring issue, but one that can be excused considering this is a launch title. Thankfully, the action on the pitch is still up to par and there is enough content to keep soccer fans happy in the meantime.

Chime Super Deluxe offers enough variety and improvements over Chime to easily recommend it to puzzle fans; especially to those who missed out on the XBLA release.

Shogun 2 is a wonderful example of deep rich strategic gameplay with both battles and resource/province management requiring more than just research upgrade clicks.

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile did exactly what it needed to. It took all the visceral fun of the first game and honed it until it gleamed and glinted like the morning sun reflected off a sword blade.

Electronic Arts was able to successfully pull together a faithful console/PC port for the much smaller 3DS platform, but I think that they pushed their luck a bit too far.

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs offers fun gameplay but it lacks content and variety. While kids will have a blast fighting different dinosaurs and trade items with their pals, adults will have a hard time replaying the game once completed.

SHIFT 2 Unleashed does some things differently and gives the franchise the extra boost to completely dissociate itself from the arcade experience that Need For Speed is known for.

The roster is a dream come true for most fans and the testosterone-fueled, simplistic and at the same time extremely exaggerated action makes this one easy to recommend to both the fans and non-fans alike, especially for those who have been looking for a more arcade-like experience.

Only those who have a taste for the seventh art will get a real kick out of it and also, overlook some of the issues that prevents it from being the most amazing thing to happen to the Kinect platform since its launch last November.

Swarm is a tough game to judge. The difficulty is without a doubt the biggest hurdle someone must overcome when playing. It takes a while before feeling comfortable and even then, the challenge doesn't ease up.

I won't lie. If Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars was simply known as Shadow Wars, I highly doubt someone would pick it up. Still, the offering is quite giving, deep and challenging enough to keep strategy gamers busy for a while.

There will always be room for improvement, but Crysis 2 has managed to surpass its competition in almost every category. There's little here that will convert non-FPS players, but fans of the genre would be doing themselves a disservice if they missed out on the Nanosuit 2.0.

I'm not saying Madden's first outing on the spanking new 3DS platform doesn't deserve any attention but for a first shot, it's certainly a disappointment. Rushed? It sure has all symptoms.

It's friendly, somewhat addictive and easy to play. I don't think its worth the console upgrade if you're still feeding Fido on your good old DS though...unless you're REALLY into cats.

There might be enough content to please the rookie Monkey Ball player, but the fan who decides to shed $250 for a 3DS and expects something more out of this game will be left scarred.

Beyond the general lack of Ghostbustiness, the repetitive design work, poor humor, and the irritating weapon-swapping forced upon me made me feel like I had just been slimed.

Rayman 3D's target audience - i.e those who actually played "The Great Escape" and fell in love with the lengthy campaign and overall presentation - will pick it up without hesitation. As for those who never-NEVER got to play it, I think it would be best to wait until the price drops of a few bucks...like 20-30 dollars.

Of all the developers who went and released their first 3DS efforts, Capcom was the one who surprised me the most. It may be their Xth version of Street Fighter, but they're the sole development house who actually took the time to embrace the technology offered by Nintendo and create something great.

Additional online modes would have put this title right at the top of my recommendation list but despite its lack of depth (get it?), Steel Diver remains an interesting title to experience, if none of the other launch titles manages to grab your attention.
