Horde 2.0 is the best multiplayer experience going right now, and Beast Mode isn't far behind.- GameFocus

It's such a great change of pace from the Modern Warfares and Battlefields that occupy the gaming landscape, and the shooting gameplay only serves to remind us about how well suited id is at developing FPS titles.- GameFocus

Dungeon Defenders is an easy one to recommend and slides in to the 'can't miss' category, right next to some of the AAA titles we have hitting store shelves in the coming weeks. Except this one you don't have to get up off your couch to get.- GameFocus

Unless you've been dying to experience off-roading but can't afford the ride in real life, your best bet is to skip this release altogether.- GameFocus

With multiple difficulty levels, competitive multiplayer, and the incoming co-op update, there's plenty here to keep both the die-hard fans and those who've never heard of the word "Ultrmarines" busy.- GameFocus

Orcs Must Die! is one of those rare games that arrived exactly as promised. It's a fun tower defense romp with a twist, and plenty of strategy to keep the brain-gears spinning, nothing more and nothing less.- GameFocus

X-Fighters ends up being Trials HD's gangly younger brother whom no one wants to pick for the their team, kicking at the sand in the back corner with its hands in its pockets.- GameFocus

Rise of Nightmares had me in a sweat for most of the game, either from constantly being in movement when hacking and slashing through zombies, or from the sheer terror that I felt moving from one area to the next, never knowing what was coming up.- GameFocus

Driver: San Francisco puts the franchise back on the map. It's fun, innovative, expansive, exhilarating and has a lot of things to do. The single player is great, aside from the simple and sloppy storyline. But the innovative Shifting mechanics, the cars and the city itself will keep you on the couch for quite some time.- GameFocus

Red Orchestra 2 is a fickle monster. On the one hand, the innovative gameplay and close attention to realism and detail give this release tons of potential. Unfortunately, the amount of bugs present coupled with the most clueless AI we've seen in awhile takes away a lot from what this game has to offer.- GameFocus

There is very little negative to be said about Human Revolution, just the enemy AI flopping a bit at times, and I certainly doubt that we will find another release to this year that will top what Eidos Montreal has put together here. I'm calling it now, for me, this is the Game Of The Year.- GameFocus

Bodycount is, at its core, still a fun FPS. It's nice to look at and has enough enemies to keep you interested, as long as you like blastin' fools and wreckin' buildings. While the $60 asking price is a bit hard to swallow, it is well worth an eventual bargain bin pickup.- GameFocus

If you are a fan of the genre, there's no reason not to give this one a spin. Just be sure to come in looking for more of the "Action" and less of the "RPG".- GameFocus

Perhaps the most artistically beautiful game I've ever played, it's easy to get lost in the gorgeous environments. Once or twice the art style did take away from the gameplay, appearing as if static was affecting my television and making depth perception harder to comprehend.- GameFocus

By no means a breakthrough in the RTS genre. Veteran players of games such as StarCraft, Supreme Commander or even Age of Empires III will most likely find that it lacks the depth of its bretheren. Still, in spite of its abysmal AI and other design flaws, AoE Online has a certain appeal, thanks to its interesting progression. For some players, the game will work just like an MMORPG: questing may not always be exciting, but the reward system will keep them coming back.- GameFocus

Tiburon continues to refine one of the best football video games of all time, and though there is more than a fair share of skeptics, the dissent is unwarranted. The action and visuals on the field are the best they've ever been.- GameFocus

Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions is about as lackluster an effort as I've seen so far on the 3DS. Packaging the legendary originals with their 21st century contemporaries was a good idea. Adding in two very disappointing titles that actually lessen the overall appeal of the bundle, and then charging full retail price is pretty insulting.- GameFocus

Of all five Xbox LIVE Arcade games that were released for the Summer of Arcade promotion, if you could only get one of them, this is it. It's the most fun, offers the most value, and it's great to play with and against friends.- GameFocus

What I played this last week was one of the least enjoyable video game experiences I've ever had, and I would be extremely surprised if there were to be a fourth game in this franchise. Not only is the game full of miserable characters, it's also lacking the polish consumers should expect of a finished game.- GameFocus

While the cute visuals and great soundtrack are a compliment to the game, there isn't quite enough to save this from being anything more than a middle-of-the-pack game that you might pick up on a rainy day.- GameFocus

The retro art style is certain to please fans of the series, and "Focus Fire" helps keep Galaga relevant. The menus are bland, but accomplish their task. This game does leave me with a sense of "Déjà Vu" since it doesn't do more to define itself from the previous iteration, infact if you have Galaga Legions, you might want to skip this all together. The lack of achievements is also a little disappointing. Despite these few negative points, the gameplay is an absolute blast, and will keep you coming back for more.- GameFocus
