Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is definitely showing signs of improvement over the stagnation of the last few years. There is still a lot more that needs to be done before it can even attempt to take back the soccer-video game crown, but it's not an impossible feat.

If Rock Band is an every-Friday-night thing for you, then grabbing Rock Band 3 would be a good call as the evolution the fanchise has made will be much appreciated by fans. If not, then you might want to pass.

The inclusion of Move controls doesn't do enough to recommend John Daly's ProStroke Golf. Even with the control options, the lack of modes and the plethora of other omissions and short-comings make this an incredibly disappointing game.

It's been a long time since I've had to really think my way through a game and for fans of the genre - or anyone looking for something new - Lost Horizon makes for a solid choice.

While it's got some decently slick looks and offers passable gameplay, Superstar V8 Racing just fails in every other respect to provide a unique enough experience to cover up the flaws.

Ubisoft deserves credit for its effort to create a different skating experience. Bending rails and ramps in succession feels like being on a morphing rollercoaster ride, and the shifting cityscape is a treat for the eyes. Unfortunately the rest of the game plays it safe with missions and features one could find in any other skating title.

The self-contained story works perfectly and even if you didn't have the opportunity to play any other entry in the franchise, you can jump into this and still manage to have a fun and challenging adventure.

The captivating story earns our most distinguished kudos, with the multiplayer offering coming second. Sadly, the number of technical bugs and A.I inconsistencies are well present and cannot be overlooked in our final evaluation.

Overall, despite the sometimes finicky Wiimote controls, Just Dance! is a fantastic dance game for the Wii and one I certainly recommend for all you dance freaks out there or anyone looking for a good work-out game.

Despite Twister and the over-lucky AI, it will still be $40 well spent, especially for those with kids who are looking for a great reason to play on their consoles during family time.

Until they manage to learn how (something other developers seemed to have understood rather quickly), SEGA isn't allowed to put another Kinect game on the market...but we all know that's not how it works, am I right?

As it sits now though, the bigger question in the end is whether it's fun or not. In short bursts, the answer is certainly yes, especially for the pre-teen set. But, if you are looking to spend hours living the mantra "gotta catch them all", then Invizimals is one catch you'll want to let back into the wild.

Criterion Games not only reinvented one of my favorite and unforgettable franchises but created the best "near perfect" arcade racer while setting the bar high for any upcoming arcade racer currently in the works.

At the end of the day, Monopoly Streets won't replace the real Monopoly in your weekly family board game meet-up, but EA Salt Lake still manages to bring a faithful and interesting representation of the classic - yet simultaneously frustrating and mesmerizing - board game to your console.

Even though some things were changed or completely removed (notably the underwater levels), DKC Returns feels a lot like the game we played back in 1994. Needless to say, its a great comeback for our favorite ape.

Singstar Dance is a nice addition to any Singstar fan out there for the singing tracks, but if the purchase is heavily based on the dancing feature, the tacked-on offering by SCE London Studios doesn't deserve opening your wallet for.

Compared to its closest competitor, DanceMasters may suffer from a few questionable and incomplete gameplay mechanics but remains fun, challenging and appealing enough to warrant a purchase. Needless to say, those who preach for the DanceDanceRevolution church will get immense joy out of it.

With an addictive career mode, deep customization and its closeness to realism, SBK X deserves a pat in the back. The game offers enough flexibility to the newcomer but patience and practice will be needed once the arcade races become less challenging and fun.

While Ghost of Sparta doesn't do anything revolutionary or really tweak the series, it still serves as an excellent action-adventure title that fans of the series will fully enjoy. If this is the last time we see Kratos on the PSP, thankfully, he ends on a high note.

The biggest knock I can give it is that it's a wash-rinse-repeat experience. The writing was a joy, but the gameplay itself wore thin over time.

If you can play with a friend and/or look past a lot of the issues, MicroBot might be worth a try. For everyone else, there are far too many problems that hamper the experience and prevent it from being the game the developers were hoping to achieve.
