I whole-heartedly believe that anyone with even a passing interest in the brawling genre, or the Japanses criminal underworld should pick this game up. It’s a beacon, a light in a sea of mediocre. Seriously, one of the best PS2 games to come out in a very long time.- GameFocus

Unfortunately, I suspect that the initial impressions of Section 8 will not be positive for many due to the slightly odd setup system, fairly complex character customization system and bland single player campaign. This is fair to a certain extent as all of these are valid issues but once you become accustomed to the game it really does offer an awful lot of value.- GameFocus

F.E.A.R.3 isn't flawless, nor inventive but in the end, it works and deliver the thrills and excitement fans and non-fans are looking for in a $60 game. Aside from the complex story arc - if past games weren't played - there's enough substance to make it an easy and recommendable purchase.- GameFocus

We can certainly ask ourselves why the game took so long to develop if it was going to lack the essence of what made other Gran Turismos appealing to play. Sure the graphics are great and there’s a bunch of cars to unlock but if there’s no structure to keep me going back to the game, the willingness to play often will simply go away. Regardless of this, Gran Turismo remains an interesting game to check out…even though it’s not worth the five year wait.- GameFocus

The single-player experience is deep enough to keep gamers coming back, and the online experience is as smooth as silk. Real teams, with real players, and a plethora of fancy tricks and player moves...once gamers get used to the controls and gameplay, FIFA Street turns out to be a rock-solid experience.- GameFocus

It is a beautiful game that is a victim of its own success as the story so badly eclipses the gameplay. Muramasa is an imperfect jewel. It’s a precious stone for sure, but the cut’s not quite right.- GameFocus

2D side scrolling real time strategy game is a rare game indeed, but Swords & Soldiers proves that a well designed game can work. Besides the odd minor issue with controls and the kid game feel of Swords & Soldiers this is one game I would recommend buying for strategy fans looking for something new.- GameFocus

We have to applaud independent developers and publishers when they release a game like Stoked. It clearly shows once again that it doesn’t have to be extremely pretty, uberly complicated and filled with tons of crazy modes and unnecessary options. Instead it delivers the deep and rewarding gameplay fans of the genre want.- GameFocus

Crackdown 2 doesn't take any risks, instead opting to preserve the spirit of the first game almost verbatim. The lack of progression is undeniably disappointing in some respect, but at the same time you can't help but have fun. Ten minute play sessions turn into hour-long hunts when searching for those last few orbs and leaping from the such great heights never gets old.- GameFocus

All in all, it is fairly a short romp (expect anywhere between 5 to 8 hours of gameplay), its story is unfocused, and the replay factor is minimal at best. Despite that though, Vanquish offers a thrilling experience filled with stylish, guns a' blazing action, fabulous visuals and some rather unique features.- GameFocus

There are more rights than wrongs in Def Jam Rapstar, but everything could have been pushed further. Those who've been waiting for a great hip-hop singing game will be at bliss. However, it leaves you wondering if 4MM truly learned something from its predecessors in the genre.- GameFocus

The Ninja Gaiden games aren’t for everyone. People will hate it; some will love it to death. The adventure may be linear and the hack n’ slash ridiculously repetitive but it’s so much fun. Despite the fact that this revamped version of last year’s Ninja Gaiden 2 game does things differently, it manages to keep the essence of the game intact. Taking into account that you might have never played a Ninja Gaiden game, there’s no reason why you should pass on this one.- GameFocus

Loaded with charm, wit, and simple-yet-addictive gameplay, The Munchables is easily recommendable to anyone looking for a game that’s slightly out of sync with the norm. Proof positive that casual doesn’t have to be a dirty word.- GameFocus

While it’s not quite an Ace for EA Sports: Grand Slam Tennis, it’s is easily the most recommendable tennis game on the Wii so far. Its deep game play mechanics coupled with its excellent multiplayer make this a must have for tennis fans and casual gamers alike.- GameFocus

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is definitely showing signs of improvement over the stagnation of the last few years. There is still a lot more that needs to be done before it can even attempt to take back the soccer-video game crown, but it's not an impossible feat.- GameFocus

The team at Cavia have without question nailed the entertainment portion of the game. But, the gameplay still needs a few tweaks to remain just as engaging. For a first run, Nier is exactly what it should be; a flawed game with a ton of potential.- GameFocus

With this game, Beenox is once again solidifying their reputation as a movie-licensed game developer and will surely continue to surprise us in the future. After giving one of my favourite games based off an animated movie (Bee Movie), Monsters vs. Aliens does it again and delivers a fun and satisfying experience that every member of the family will enjoy.- GameFocus

It's easy to compare it to the less-tech-risky Wii version or the incredible Dance Central and say that it didn't pass the test. Still, it may not be the most perfected dance title for Kinect, but it remains a title worth checking out especially for those die-hard Jackson fans.- GameFocus

This review might feel like a complaint towards THQ. It is but not entirely. Truth is: MX vs ATV Alive isn't only fun but also addictive and well-worth the $40 price of entrance. However, those who have been enjoying the heck out of Reflex will feel like someone punch them in the gut.- GameFocus

Star Ocean has always been a fantastic Science Fiction based action Role Playing Game series and this remake of the original game shows how amazing the series started out. For RPG fans this is a must buy, especially if you have never played a Star Ocean game or you are interested in the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Star Ocean prequel, Star Ocean: The Last Hope.- GameFocus

If you can accept the fact that this version is a track pack a few improvements more than a totally new, re-thinked and re-worked game, then shedding 50$ won’t stop you from getting it. Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades is an interesting addition to your DS collection not only for the new tracks but especially for the extended tracklist via wireless link with the original game.- GameFocus
