Rise of Nightmares had me in a sweat for most of the game, either from constantly being in movement when hacking and slashing through zombies, or from the sheer terror that I felt moving from one area to the next, never knowing what was coming up.

If you are one of the many who already own The Witcher, you can just download the patch and update your game, so you know you will have some great extras for free. But if you no longer own it, or are looking for a RPG to dive into this is one of the better ones to come out in the last year or so. So I am heavily recommending RPG fans to go out and buy this game.

The game is not only another success story for EA on the Wii this year but for the first time, a Wii version should be seriously considered when looking for the best golfing experience despite the fact that it’s the less pretty of all the console versions out there.

What is most surprising about this game is how it takes such simple concepts and makes them their own and have them work in a perfect mesh of puzzle and musical rhythm.

For a game that Activision have said they want to stand on its own, it just doesn't seem to change the formula enough to make it appeal to people who've played other games in the series. At least not yet, anyway. Really, this is just a gussied-up track pack for the casual market. That's not to say that it isn't a fun experience, it's just certainly not a new one.

Tekken 6 is a great package and, while it doesn’t make any huge innovative leaps, the Tekken series remains one of the best 3D fighters on the market today.

Platinum is a fun game to play but I seriously doubt it will win back those who left the series a long time ago. There have been additions with each portable generation, but the improvements have typically been small steps rather than huge leaps and risks. The series is in desperate need a face lift and while the game is a blast to play, those who had a marginal interest in the series will be hard pressed to find a real reason to return.

While it has its flaws, the latest game in Chris Taylor’s RTS franchise is well worth a spot on your hard drive. Whether you flex your strategy muscles on a regular basis or you’re new to the RTS gym, this one will make a nice addition to your library.

Basketball gamers know what they want and it seems like the step back taken by EA Canada last year is making sense this year. Improving on last year’s new features, refining the gameplay mechanics, not adding anything major and removing what wasn’t necessary, it resumes what NBA Live 10 is. Fans of the franchise will certainly love this year’s game and basketball gamers in general will spend a few quality hours with it.

FIFA 09 All Play is incredibly fun to play. Even though the Footii Play mode only added one more game-type, thankfully 8v8 is the best addition and should be a focus for future editions. This is a solid sports title for the Wii and should be played by all soccer fans.

We like to give you our opinion on basically all the games coming out but what we like the most is defending a game that is awfully overlooked and underrated, no matter how different the game is from others and RACE Pro is one of them. While the game won’t win awards for its minimal presentation value, the game shines on the real thing: the driving. And you won’t have any reason to call on SimBin for that.

While we have a few games of similar note and even the latest Unreal Tournament to play we have not seen any real competition or value priced game until now. If you like multiplayer deathmatch gaming than look no further and buy this game.

The original Puzzle Quest set the bar so high for Galactrix it is almost unfair to compare the two but in the end you must. If you can get past the “dumbed” down gameplay this is actually a fun and lengthy worthwhile gaming experience which most puzzle fans and Role Playing Gamers will enjoy. If I had to recommend the Windows PC or Xbox Live Arcade version of the game I would say go with the Xbox Live Arcade version because it just feels better and seems to be more fun for me even the second time through the game.

If you are seriously looking for a change of pace, there may be enough here to satiate your desire. But if the classic "match 3" gameplay has served you well over the last few years, some spiffy visuals may not be enough warrant yet another version of this timeless classic.

If you bought and enjoyed the first Penny Arcade: On the Rain-slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 1 (what a name), Penny Arcade 2 will be worth every dollar or MS point you spend on the game. But if you did not buy the game, it is not worth starting with Episode 2 unless you have purchased and finished episode 1 and if the first game was not your cup of gaming tea, you should skip this one and play something else.

Ubisoft have improved upon the previous 360 title in nearly every way, making Naruto: The Broken Bond the most complete and compelling entry in the series yet. For Naruto fans out there, this is a must have. For the uninitiated, the story may not win you over, but the combat and puzzles are interesting enough to be worth at least a rental.

Resident Evil 5 is a Resident Evil game which is trying to be an action game while keeping the old survival horror feeling which the franchise is known for. While it worked with Resident Evil 4 to a certain point, the next-generation evolution of gaming forces developers to retool their original visions in order to deliver something to remember. Resident Evil 5 tries constantly to remind us it’s still a Resident Evil game but all I saw was a very restrictive, slow and totally emotionally broken action game.
