Viewfinder seems harmless, like a little game that you'd happily put on the pile of cool games you'd like to play some day. But that would be a mistake. It offers much more than a simple puzzle game experience. Viewfinder is innovative in more ways than one. It tries to get a number of messages across, it tries things, it leaves us free while keeping us captivated by its universe, and it offers a fascinating visual journey to anyone willing to look beyond what the main art direction suggests. Viewfinder isn't just a fun game, it's a real little nugget. No matter how you look at it.- Gameblog.fr

Pikmin 4 is THE game of the summer, that's for sure. It's fresh, affordable, cute as can be and quickly addictive. Yes, it uses the same ingredients as ten years ago and the new features can be counted on the fingers of one hand, but they all hit the nail on the head and are even enough to allow us to enjoy the journey without getting bored. The icing on the cake is that Pikmin 4 hides a few secrets at the very end that should satisfy fans of the franchise, but it also boasts a solid and highly entertaining multiplayer mode that would be a shame to underestimate. As a bonus, it's playable with just one Switch, so it's perfect for travel and holidays. Pikmin 4 is a real success.- Gameblog.fr

Oxenfree II : Lost Signals is a great follow-up to the first episode. The characters are great again and the game seem to still be master at portraying them. However the game lacks ambition and comes out a little bit too late maybe. We would have loved Night School Studio to try something news while still trying to link both games.- Gameblog.fr

Park Beyond is not a bad game, far from it, but it will only fully satisfy the curious, those who have never really had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a real management game, or who have neither the desire nor the time to devote to it. In a way, Park Beyond can even be seen as an introduction to the subject. It's a refreshing first step, thanks to its totally surreal coaster concept, but one that will struggle to satisfy aficionados of the genre. But it's not all doom and gloom, far from it, as the title still has plenty to offer, with a highly entertaining campaign that will keep you on the edge of your seat for over a dozen hours, and a sandbox mode. But there's no need to wait any longer or look for what's hidden beneath the surface.- Gameblog.fr

Amnesia is not a flagship of the genre. It doesn't pretend to be, and it doesn't even try to revolutionise the genre or its franchise. It evolves a little in its content and structure, but retains the same strength. Its job is to scare you for a few hours by immersing you in its world, and it succeeds perfectly. The Alien Isolation-style beast that stalks you incessantly makes you break out in a cold sweat, and the game is gripping. You'll simply have to get used to the decade-old gameplay. The problem is that it can also put some people off.- Gameblog.fr

Playing Company of Heroes 3 on PS5 means accepting to play either a poorly optimized PS4 game (resolution mode) or a fat PS4 game at the end of its life (performance mode). Yes, technically, it's a real wreck. It's naughty or simply awful depending on the mode chosen. That being said, the game is still very playable and ultimately well optimized for the controller. We simply regret the lack of precision and responsiveness in the absence of a shortcut. But the work of the developers is there. The interface has been partially revised and it's pretty well done. It's up to you now if you're ready to sacrifice the visual aspect in the name of the altar of the strategy game, a genre underrepresented on home consoles. For the rest, Company of Heroes 3 remains the same game as on PC. An honest, but naughty strategy game.- Gameblog.fr

Aliens: Dark Descent is a great try at a tactical RPG in the movie franchise. If the game is really inspired by XCOM in its core DNA, it manages to be something different thanks to its real-time gameplay and its infiltration based action. You will have to be clever and patient to beat this game which is a love letter to Alien.- Gameblog.fr

Final Fantasy 16 is more an evolution than a revolution. It's an ode to the license, a reinterpretation of the myth as rarely seen, and a spectacular game. It's an accomplished modern vision, an assertive turn to action with near perfect gameplay but which has almost nothing left of an RPG. A remarkable game full of sincerity.- Gameblog.fr

Adapting a monument like League of Legends is not an easy task. The small studio Digital Sun manages to deliver a good game but not one without its flaws. The story takes a while to get going, as does the hero's power growth. LoL fans will find The Mageseeker A League of Legends Story an honest but imperfect adaptation.- Gameblog.fr

LEGO 2K Drive had crazy potential, and we still believe in it, but this first episode doesn't fully express it yet. The game is beautiful, lively and fun to play even if the circuits are disappointed. But one of the biggest flaw comes from the microtransactions. A promising start.- Gameblog.fr

Diablo 4 is extremely generous. A clear evolution of the franchise and a real return to form. This fourth opus does everything better and bigger. A vast world, over a hundred dungeons, ultra-pushed customization... Nothing is left to chance. What's more, the narrative campaign is a delight to navigate. The narration has been given much more attention than in the past, the dubbing (VF and VO) is a delight and the cinematics are sublime. Even the mise-en-scène is superb. As for the endgame, it's shaping up to be a busy one. With a completely overhauled Parangon system that's infinitely deeper than in the past, endless challenges and ever-higher difficulty levels, you'll have plenty to do. It now remains to be seen what the long-term impact will be in terms of overall class balancing, redundancy and the seasonal system. As for the business model, still a mystery at the time of writing. But we'll come back to that later. As it stands, Diablo 4 remains an ultra-solid game.- Gameblog.fr

The game is not very good and unfortunately quite boring. We would have liked something more epic on a saga like the Lord of the Rings. It's a pity, especially since the game is full of bugs as it is.- Gameblog.fr

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is indeed the masterclass we were waiting for. A game of incredible generosity that buries, once again, all the competition. Often copied, never equaled, the formula of Breath of the Wild is here improved by new features that offer even more freedom to the player. Rare are the games capable of stimulating and captivating so many players for dozens and dozens of hours. Hyrule is beautiful and holds more secrets than ever before, which even the most hardcore fans will enjoy discovering. Often epic, constantly fascinating, Tears of the Kingdom is likely to divide on a few points. The most intransigent gamers will be able to criticize it for not doing enough to distinguish itself from the previous game. But what's the point when you've already reached the top and are literally flying over the world ?- Gameblog.fr

Darkest Dungeon 2 is a great sequel to an already great games. Red Hook Studios took risks by changing the way the game plays itself but it becomes one of the main strength of this new game which as adapted to the time. If you like hard RPG, tough but passionate experience, Darkest Dungeon 2 is probably made for you.- Gameblog.fr

Between the failed infiltration and dull fights, Redfall leaves us with a particularly bitter taste. The desire to loot epic equipment, to discover the bosses of the game (ultimately too rare) and the coop are all reasons that prevent the controller from falling from our hands. But with each confrontation - as insipid as it is ridiculous because of a strawberry AI - and with each new uninviting objective, one wonders what we are still doing there. So, we continue, to see if what awaits us is worth it, to realize that it is not. Are you looking for a very good FPS to do solo? Redfall is definitely not for you. Are you a fan of vampires and want an affordable experience to do with friends thanks to the Game Pass? Arkane Austin's game will fill you up for a very short time, at best.- Gameblog.fr

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is in every way superior to Fallen Order. A real big sequel extremely generous on all levels, which multiplies the novelties. Whether it's in terms of structure, by offering infinitely larger regions than the first opus, or even open worlds that can be explored, or in terms of gameplay. Cal may be an accomplished Jedi from the start, but his rise to power is clear throughout the game. Battles, as well as exploration, benefit from a ton of new features that totally revitalize the recipe and still leave plenty of room for manoeuvre for a possible sequel. The only downside is that Jedi Survivor is so easy on the narrative that it completely undermines the game and its dramatic dimension. Some twists and characters are shoehorned in and also lose some of their beauty. An excellent game that doesn't lack much to be unmissable.- Gameblog.fr

Dead Island 2 is a pleasant game, but far from being memorable. It is as often fun as it is boring. The average quests don't fully engage us and the game fails to make us want to explore. Fortunately, the second part of the game is better, both in terms of level design and scenario. Too bad the ending is disappointing.- Gameblog.fr

Crime Boss could have been a nice experience, especially since there is no 400 Payday-like. There was clearly a niche to be taken while surfing on that nice cast of actors, but nothing was done. Minimal service, failed service with this. Since between the bad ideas of game design, the absent direction, the failed dubbing and the far from great graphics, it's hard to recommend it. Especially since for less than twenty euros, Payday 2 does a better job, despite its age.- Gameblog.fr

Gunfire Games did what they could to bring Remnant From the Ashes to the Nintendo Switch. The downgrade is real with clear visual concessions, much longer loading times and a game that is less enjoyable on the go due to the inaccuracy and lack of ergonomics of the Joy-Con.- Gameblog.fr

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 is not a bad game, but a bad sequel. It's certainly entertaining and successful in many ways, but it's no different from the first game. Yes, it's a sequel directly related to the first episode, but still. The new features can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are not sufficiently marked to really add value. Except maybe the night sorties, which are fun, a bit creepy and devilishly stressful. A very honest and fun PSVR 2 game, but not essential.- Gameblog.fr

With this big update, Resident Evil Village is easily one of the spearheads of the PSVR 2. An essential experience for horror and ultra immersive game lovers. Capcom has done a masterful job and has taken advantage of the opportunity to offer new gameplay that is entirely optimised for Sony's headset. And the result is striking. Despite its few flaws, Village takes advantage of VR to give itself a new lease on life. Even the most reluctant players, who didn't find the original game impressive, will be taken on board in this nightmarish adventure. Some sequences are more gripping than ever. In short, with the PSVR 2, Resident Evil Village is more than ever an essential.- Gameblog.fr

Meet Your Maker is a unique multiplayer game that mixes dungeon crawler, tower defense and community creation in a very interesting way. The recipe is addictive, and you'll be able to come back to it from time to time while pecking away. The title also has a great potential to evolve, especially when you know the studio Behaviour, but as it is, you will unfortunately have the feeling that you have done the trick in a few dozen hours. All the more so as its artistic direction, deliberately sad (post-apo obliges), will not have any argument to impress you. An amusing game then, that you should keep in the corner of your eye if you don't give in to temptation right away.- Gameblog.fr

Road 96 Mile 0 is a rather nice dive into the dystopian universe. The prequel suffers from its classical aspect and loses everything that made its predecessor so special and instead brings musical sections that are rather boring and imperfect on consoles. A game that nevertheless manages to shine at times thanks to its soundtrack, its pop atmosphere and its staging that is sometimes really impressive.- Gameblog.fr

Gripper is a boss rush inspired by Furi but different in its core gameplay. Here you are riding a bike to defeat your enemies, using a winch to destroy them. If the gameplay can be satisfying sometime it can be very frustrating lacking some tweaks here and there, especially on the Switch, to help the player reading the action and knowing what must be done to win the fight.- Gameblog.fr
