Crazy idea but poor execution, that about sums LocoCycle. This mix of racing and beat'em all has a lot of humor... but not much more.

With its attractively designed dragons, its music and its targeting system, Crimson Dragon had potential. Unfortunately, this spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon fails in terms of gameplay and graphics, as if everything was stuck in the past... and sometimes nostalgia can't transcend reality.

If you have already played Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted, Rivals will look really too much similar. It is actually like a mix of those two games. But if you don't, it will be as always a nice game to play.

Addictive and nervous, Resogun is a compelling shoot 'em up referring to Housemarque's dear demo scene... and it's probably the best exclusive PS4 game at launch.

Contrast offers a nice story and a unique atmosphere, but nothing that is really advanced, artistically speaking. The basic idea of gameplay is quite good also, but the bugs and awkward controls will frustrate the players most of the time.

As usual very forgiving with the player, Just Dance 2014 is the perfect game to dance all night long with friends, on recent songs (Get Lucky, Pound The Alarm...) and other less recent (Maria from Ricky Martin, Nena , etc.). It is lively, the choreographies are very nice and the new modes are welcome. And with "Just Dance TV", you can save and share your "best" performances.

The basic idea of "Redshirt" was really good, the humor that mocks the clichés of the genre as well, but this human life simulator lacks some essential things: life and humanity.

Killer Instinct is a fun fighting game, and its free-to-play approach will certainly be successful. But make no mistake: it will never have the depth of this genre's leaders.

Forced is a mix of hack'n slash and puzzles, and it does the job in a rather effective way. You will enjoy it more in coop mode (up to 4 players) than in solo mode, but beware of the frustration: the game is extremely difficult.

Forza 5 does not really keeps all its promises (reduced content compared to Forza 4, no weather conditions, night racing or pit stops, visually downgraded compared to what we had seen at E3...), but it is still the strongest game for this Xbox One launch. A safe bet for all racing fans, they will find a great game they will play for a loooong time.

Killzone Shadow Fall on PS4 is a good console FPS, but not necessarily a great Killzone, although being more subtle than usual and visually impressive.

Zoo Tycoon is making a nice return on Xbox One, even if it is difficult to define its identity, between light management features and Kinect interactions, which are certainly adorable, but lack of interest in the long term.

Dead Rising 3 is not the most beautiful game of the Xbox One launch, but still there is a chance that this game from Capcom Vancouver will entertain you big time. It is generous an fun, we have never seen so many zombies in the streets, the open world is full of activities, featuring stupid and hilarious ideas... Well, it is finally, one of the best games of this launch.

The start of World of Warplanes is promising: the dogfights are intense, the graphics are impressive and in-game purchases are not necessary to win. However, we would have liked to have gotten a cockpit view and more content.

Risk of Rain is a survival shooter featuring interesting mechanisms, where you will have to make quick decisions. And it's even more fun if played with friends in co-op mode.

All the "kawai" of a magical girl violently confronted to the intrigues of a cruel and boiling kingdom, this is what makes the charm and humor of Long Live Queen. This story will give you a real headache! The choices and events could have been more varied to avoid some repetition. Maybe for the next title ?

Ryse: Son of Rome is a splendid technological showcase, probably the most beautiful Xbox One game with Forza 5. Unfortunately, in terms of gameplay it's far below what we would expect from a beat-them-all in 2013.

It's already an artistic achievement to build such a unique, fabulous world out of paper, but some wizardry of design prowess is required to use this material's physical properties in order to craft such astounding gameplay mechanics, with the PlayStation Vita as the main magical tool. Tearaway ventures even further, since it exploits the bond established between the character and the player through a narrative process, their interactions blurring the lines of virtual reality at the same time. Whether it's made from digital or vegetal matter, paper is still a fundamental medium to express creativity. And that might just be the message sent by Media Molecule with this lovely letter.

All the superstars from Marvel are there, in a large open world filled with content. LEGO Marvel Heroes is probably the most complete game of the series, but it still doesn't innovate too much. The formula must change a little now.

Knack is not a bad game, it allowed me to have a good time. It is some kind of generic platformer, but the universe and the overall quality of the game is still decent. There is still some real flaws, starting with the confusing difficulty and the lack of character's development.

Battle Worlds: Kronos is a very classic but effective turn based strategy game. The concept requires thinking and AI gives trouble. Too bad that the realization comes from another era, and the art direction is so uninspired.

WWE 2K14 does the job, as usually, with a LOT of content, especially this year with the WWE 30th birthday. But the game still suffers flaws on the graphical, technical and gameplay sides. It seems like this series needs a competitor to surpass itself and move forward.

Neither a sequel nor a remake, A Link Between Worlds takes everything from the cult Super Nintendo Zelda game, but it does it in a beautiful way, with respect and fairness, offering a breathtaking adventure and ingenious dungeons. It doesn't exceed its model, but is still a must-have on 3DS.

To conclude their futuristic series, Ratchet & Clank focuses on gravity, in both senses of the word. It is applied not only to the tone through a desolate world, but also to the gameplay mechanics. Although such experiments give more freedom to explore the environment and develop new puzzles, they are too limited and, therefore, overshadowed by the unbridled evolution of the arsenal. This relentless quest for power takes the main role into the Nexus, making up for the briefness of the adventure. Let's hope that the next generation will help Insomniac Games to really move forward with this proven, yet aging formula.

This first DLC for BioShock Infinite keeps its promises: the return to Rapture is absolutely great for the fans... Too bad it takes less than two hours to finish... At $15, it's quite expensive, especially as you will soon want to pay again for the second episode. You should opt now for the Season Pass.
