The Sexy Brutale is a very nice and original adventure game, that makes good use of a time loop in its core gameplay.

ARMS takes a fresh look at the old fighting game. By giving it the twist of friendly Nintendo games, it allows everyone to enjoy its new way of fighting each other. However, its roster of look-alikes make us think that the game certainly won't last long for the most demanding players.

Tekken 7 is a bit disappointing in terms of graphics and game modes, but its typical gameplay, easy to pick up and hard to master, is still one of the best in its genre.

GNOG is a wonderful puzzle game. Its colorful graphics, oniric mood and thoughtful puzzles makes it worth a look for every fan of the genre. Unfortunately, its very short length makes it miss the must-have category.

Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is a fantastic fighting game that every fan of the genre should play.

RiME is a memorable game. A simple and attractive one that really moves us and leaves us as speechless as its protagonist once we realize the true meaning of the whole adventure.

Longtime fans of The Longest Journey series will certainly forgive the flaws of this third episode, to finally know the end of the story, but the others will be quickly bored.

Endless Space 2 is the quintessence of the 4X genre. Despite confusing menus, some bugs and some issues with its combat system, it offers a deep and complex gameplay, and a captivating experience.

Injustice 2 is a good follow-up and a very good fighting game. Its story is less surprising than the first episode, but it does the job, and the fights are spectacular and quite technical.

If it wasn't playable in VR, Farpoint would be an average and quite basic first person shooter... but it is in VR, and once you put the PSVR on your head and the Aim Controller in your hands, it really makes a difference. We can feel that there is so much better things to come for VR shooters in the future, but for now, even with its flaws, Farpoint is unmissable if you already own a PSVR.

LocoRoco Remastered reminds us how unique and fun the game was back in 2006. Its trigger-based gameplay gives a new taste to the platformer genre, and the level design never ceases to renew itself. Unfortunately, this reissue do not offers any new content when there was so many things to think of.

Fire Emblem Gaiden had explored different approaches, which appear even bolder through this remake on 3DS thanks to an absolutely epic staging, a more developed narrative and many modern gameplay adjustments, while staying true to the original Famicom version. Despite some relics from the past and a less strategic philosophy, Echoes : Shadows of Valentia proves that these pragmatic concepts are still relevant today, indeed for the future of the franchise.

NBA Playgrounds is a fun addition to the arcade basketball genre, especially on the Nintendo Switch. The game isn't without some flaws though. The AI is unfair and the shooting mechanics are very tough to master. Releasing the game without its online mode is also a strange choice. That being said, the game offers more than enough to allow fans of NBA Jam and NBA Street to have a good time. Let's just hope that Saber will soon fix the game's issues.

Operation Babel is a good Dungeon RPG, with a nice design, but it's less accessible than the other Dungeon Crawlers available on Vita, so be careful.

Unfortunately, behind its beautiful backgrounds and melancholic soundtrack, Pinstripe forgot to be a solid platformer. Clumsy controls, basic puzzles and soporific fights forbid the player to experience its tearful message all the way through.

If you're looking for a good science-fiction survival game with a ton of fresh ideas, deep and satisfying mechanics with a lot of replayability and, of course, a great setting... Well, look elsewhere, because Prey is not good: it's amazing.

Outlast 2 is a good and very frightening horror game, but with some flaws like the annoying "die & retry" gameplay and linear pace.

A visual novel with a good story, but a bad rhythm, no voices, and poor gameplay. Like Deadly Premonition, only the most hardcore gamers may enjoy it.

The stories that are told are both beautiful and tragic, and are always told in imaginative ways. The game looks good with its mesmerizing and surrealist atmosphere. And thanks to its high-quality storytelling, this little collection of macabre poems takes the player through a strange story that he will remember for a long time. Unless you are one of those "walking simulators"-hating gamers, you shouldn't miss out on What Remains of Edith Finch.

Another solid (but still short) entry in this elegant series, with a strong central theme and vibrant characters.

The Franz Kafka Videogame is a surprising point and click which celebrates surrealism more than the author himself. Its delicious visuals and tricky puzzles will delight those who do not look for a real Kafka tribute. Unfortunately, its length and simplicity will prevent it from staying in your memories for long.
