It's hard not to see flaws in this Fable III, which is less convincing in many areas than the previous one. Its inconsistent production values (sometimes beautifully executed, sometimes lacking a lot of polish), the over-simplification of some things that are sometimes not that efficient, the less than inspired bestiary : potential reproaches are numerous. But despite all those, Fable III, like it predecessors, remains so charming and mesmerizing that it works. The coop mode is a bliss (at last), and even though the "being King gameplay" is clearly underwhelming, one cannot be bored by this new Albion. Yes, Fable III could have been better polished and more ambitious, but it's still a game unlike any other.- Gameblog.fr

Garhasp was developed by a nine people studio, and taking this into account, it's impressive. But that's the only way it is. It's not enough to deliver 3 hours of gameplay with poor production values, especially considering its current price.- Gameblog.fr

L.A. Noire is undoubtedly a foray into a new kind of adventure game, and most specifically of investigation games. Beyond the technology, which is not perfect but still breathtaking, its a brilliant example of actors' talent and humanity, both at the service of gameplay. With polished writing and a tight plot, and well-described atmosphere, it's easy to overlook some of its shortcomings in order to dream of the future it gives a glimpse of. A title that we'll remember years from now.- Gameblog.fr

Loaded with shortcomings, not really generous in terms of content, Brink still remains an FPS with some really neat ideas, mostly in the way it promotes good teamplay. If you have several buddies with whom to share the experience, and take the time to organize your strategy, you won't be disappointed. But even so, the clear lack of polish, the not-so varied environments and average technical side prevent it from being an excellent FPS; it's only a good one.- Gameblog.fr

It might be hard to master all the intricacies of game such as Guilty Gear, but its arrival on the Wii is a blessing. Comprehensive, well executed, as deep as ever, all the while remaining accessible to an extent, for newbies. Now, be aware that you must have a classic controller to enjoy this classic japanese fighter.- Gameblog.fr

Good atmosphere, decent production values, a lot of content and humor, funny puzzles, well implemented platform sequences, light combat : that's a lot of pros to make Traveller's Tales' developers proud. Yes, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is a rather fun title. But when will this saga revise its basics and innovate? With more than 5 games in the franchise, it may be time to consider that fans may very well like some new blood.- Gameblog.fr

After the first gimmicky 3D visual effect wears off, you end up with a rushed out game which feels more like a tech demo than a real game that lives up to what you can expect from a 3DS. The story mode has too few missions, and shows in and of itself the overall lack of content and ambition of the game. And, neither the Battleship nor the Periscope modes can make up for it. The periscope sequences are the only element trying to make use of the gyroscope function of the console, but it turns out to be rather inefficient handling. All in all, we end up with a game that could have been released in the early DS days, certainly to a more impactful reception, at times where the stylus was still considered an innovation.- Gameblog.fr

FF IV, one of the best episodes of the Final Fantasy saga, is back in top shape, offering the original game, visually remade, its followup, and a brand new "Interlude" scenario linking the two. And you will enjoy this complete story with beautifully redesigned graphics. Those who have already experienced the first FF IV may wonder if it's worth replaying it again... but if you're a really big fan, we'll say yes!- Gameblog.fr

Pretty, dense, nerve-challenging, immersive, innovative... Outland is easily one of the gems of April 2011. Combining with talent several influences (Limbo, Castlevania, Ikaruga), it goes back to the rules of 2D platformers, with an added twist. It's an enticing tribal journey, with a soul, at a small price.- Gameblog.fr

For its small price, Capsized is an honest bargain. Well executed visually, with very nice music, very few bugs, and a complete gameplay. But Alien Trap delivers the paper of a good student who lacks a little imagination.- Gameblog.fr

Given its price, it's hard to criticize anything in Burn it All. But nonetheless, its drag and drop mechanic sometimes results in hiccups when the player has his finger on the screen, obfuscating the image, trying to move the flames with precision, and it doesn't offer the same precision and genius as Cut the Rope did. But beyond that, Burn it All is a great game with a very high challenge for completion-obsessed gamers, and for less than a dollar, it would be a crime not to play this very-well polished game.- Gameblog.fr

Thor is a prime example of the worst possible adaptations of movie blockbusters into video games. It's poor, painfully ugly, and barely playable, thanks to rigid animations and a complete lack of ideas.- Gameblog.fr

When compared to everything you can play in the FPS genre nowadays, Conduit 2's worth doesn't amount to much. But if you only have a Wii to play on, and are looking for some game of the genre, it still has some qualities, starting with its fairly comprehensive multiplayer. The campaign does its job, albeit barely, and its visual disparity still doesn't exclude some technical prowess. All in all, the overall is a little above average for gamers who are 100% on the Wii... but still well beneath the rest of the experiences you can find on other platforms.- Gameblog.fr

VT4 may be the most beautiful game of the genre, the most spectacular, thanks to the "Match Momentum" shots (even though they are less efficient in the game than on paper), but our favorite champions are not really playing Tennis. Sure, it's an arcade style that opens up for every possibility, and it's still great fun for newbies and hardcore players alike, but the series would really benefit from a little self-questionning, if only on its limited gameplay.- Gameblog.fr

After an average Dragon Rising episode, Codemasters corrects a lot of shortcomings and delivers, this time around, a more convincing tactical FPS. If the basics remain the same, with a similar technical side and order system, large and open environments, etc. the AI behaviors have been enhanced. This makes Red River a game that is still difficult, but less frustrating, and more immersive. It's also an experience you'll want to share online. A title that's not for everyone, but one that will appeal to virtual soldiers thanks to a unique design.- Gameblog.fr

Keeping what's best in the saga, Mortal Kombat on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is a delicacy, both in terms of form and content. One can argue that its combat system is considerably less flexible and deep than those of its competitors, but is still offers some subtlety, and dynamic combats that are very fun to play. Combining humor, a kitch universe and packed with loads of content to unlock, the Netherealm studio title joins the fighting games pantheon, but in its own style, without playing in the same arena as one Street Fighter IV, Blazblue or King of Fighters.- Gameblog.fr

The Sims 3 3DS is to the other console versions what the travel MB games are to the original MB connect 4. A light portable version keeping the basic principles, with adapted ergonomics but without every bell and whistle that were its charm. You can get it if your really won't be able to keep away from the other versions for long, but even if it's your case, I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want to play it in 2D, since the 3D gives more headaches than added enjoyment.- Gameblog.fr

Except maybe a lesser second act, Portal 2 delivers an adventure with impeccable and unique flavour. It's impeccably directed and narrated, loaded with humor and wit. The numerous new mechanics renew the puzzles, it's longer than expected, the coop mode, locally or online, is bliss, and even though the ending couldn't surpass that of the original, it concludes a rollercoaster ride of pure sensations and genius ideas.- Gameblog.fr

Ubisoft and Capybara Games deliver an almost spotless work with this HD downloadable version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. The franchise is well respected, and the gameplay both original and solid. With attractive visuals, a long lifespan, nice multiplayer features and an very affordable price, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a very nice game to acquire for those who look for something to download that's different from the usual shooters and action games.- Gameblog.fr

There's real poetry coming from those pixels. In between Princess Mononoke, Zelda, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, Sword & Sworcery borrows from a lot of inspirations, digests them well, and adds its own style on top. It's a real and sensible adventure to discover, with fantastic visuals and musics, and a simple yet efficient gameplay. Its very low price makes it unmissable on the iPad. If you are looking for a fresh, different and referenced experience, speaking to your imagination more than your reflexes, then the journey is right ahead of you.- Gameblog.fr
