This PES on 3DS shows interesting things, but is undoubtedly thrown on the market a little bit early... The content here is quite small, and there is no online functions. The potential is there, but we already know that the "complete game" will be there next year! As usual...- Gameblog.fr

Fresh and light, Pilotwings will make you travel... but not very far! About 30 levels to play and replay, improving your scores, that's not really huge. However, the 3D effect is very good and immersive. This game is quite fun and represents a nice way to spend some free time, but do not expect much more than this.- Gameblog.fr

Here it is at last, the first Castlevania Lords of Shadows DLC ! Is it as good as it was expected ? Well, yes and no. "Yes", because it adds one new chapter to a game we loved, because it does so with classy comic book style cinematics, by offering us some very nice moments playing Laura, with her vampire special abilities and her mastery of thunder, and by giving us new puzzle to chew on, new action sequences to experience, new backgrounds... it even goes as far as to give us a little something more out of the story, shining a little more light on the ending of Lords of Shadow. But "no", because it remains super short with only 3 levels to clear, which are not that surprising, and very quick to complete (maybe an hour). So we're left hanging, with a very frustrating "to be continued". So, for 800 MP, we'd have hoped for more content, or more intensity.- Gameblog.fr

PlayStation Move Heroes is one of those games that try to follow in the Wii party-games footsteps... not successfully. Movement recognition is quite effective here, but the gameplay really lacks fun. The illustrious heroes who were trapped in this deserve better.- Gameblog.fr

Almost perfect visually (depending on the platform), Crysis 2 delivers a solo campaign that is less spectacular than expected. It's not as easy as we'd hoped to dive into this New York atmosphere, hit by an ongoing catastrophe... Crytek didn't hook me, despite the intensity of the fights. Fortunately, the multiplayer is really fun, with mechanics that induce a level of challenge that relies completely on players' skill level.- Gameblog.fr

The only thing we may grant this Back to the Future is its consistency in terms of mediocrity. As time passes by, I'm losing faster and faster any hope to see Telltale getting back on the right tracks. Afterall, the game does very well commercially, so why change it? Bad or not, the most important for the publisher, it's the sales. Sad, sad, market laws.- Gameblog.fr

Torchlight got successful on the PC thanks to its action RPG styled gameplay, and the lack of competition in the genre. These strengths remain in the XBLA version. The console controls don't undermine the fun of the formula in any way, but like the PC version, try and play on a higher difficulty level, otherwise it's too easy !- Gameblog.fr

Capcom put everyone straight in 2009 with Street Fighter IV. The company then hammered it in with Super Street Fighter IV in 2010. And now in 2011, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition sets itself, easily, as the best fighting game on all portable consoles. Gamers can feel like walking on clouds, now that they can play with a super comprehensive fighting game everywhere.- Gameblog.fr

Consider 3 retrogaming lovers (Pix'n Love Editions, PastaGames developers, and Bulky Pix publishers), cook them in the same pot, and the resulting delicacy will be Pix'n Love Rush on the iPhone. A true homage to oldschool platformers, the game has simple and diabolically precise controls. Heavily reliant on a carefully crafted level-design, its 2 modes (collect the bonuses, dodge the maluses in the first one, and a crazy time attack) may drive some players mad before they get to improve their skills, but its fun lies there. A pure game of scoring - still one of the best past-times ever invented.- Gameblog.fr

Okami Den is a true successor to Okami. Even though it's not as rich as the original was, it's taking full advantage of the DS and its touch screen. Pretty, well-paced, charming, funny, Okami Den is an adorable and well-crafted game.- Gameblog.fr

Catherine shines thanks to its concept, its mature take on adult and social themes, as well as its burlesque side. A lot of its charm comes from its phenomenal voice-acting, and japanese word-based puns. A frivolous story of three-way love wrapped inside a thriller plot, combined with an efficient puzzle game: without a doubt, Atlus delivers an innovative game.- Gameblog.fr

Angry Birds didn't become one of the most popular titles in the App Store for nothing. It's a very simple, physics-based formula, but it's a lot deeper than one might think. Strategic, rich thanks to the different types of birds to throw, blocks to shatter, and pigs to destroy in the process, Angry Birds may puzzle your brain a lot more than expected at first if you want to get all three stars for each level. And its price is as low as ever for hundreds of levels of fun. A definitive must-have of the App Store and Android Market.- Gameblog.fr

Game Dev Story promise is undeniably alluring: create your game studio and try and make it prosper. It seems pretty rich at first, with recruitment, advertising, genre level-up, training of your employees, advertisement, game reviews etc. to play with, but after 3 or 4 runs, most players will have seen almost everything and understood how to maximize profit and success in the game. Let's hope that the sequel will run deeper for a prolonged satisfaction.- Gameblog.fr

A true Proust's Cookie of videogames, Secret of Mana is an absolute must-play of the iOS game library. Why ? Because everything that made it legendary in 1994 has been honored, and even improved in this version. Sure, the multiplayer was dropped, and the touch screen controls may bother some, but when you get beyond that, it's a wonder. Its pleasures are rooted in nostalgia, but this Action-RPG is at least as emblematic as a good Zelda.- Gameblog.fr

Motorstorm Apocalypse is almost an entirely new game compared to the previous installments. Richer, more innovative, it will warm arcade-style racing games amateurs with spectacular trials, and immediate fun. Full of content and replay value, with cool local and online multiplayer, it's by far the best of the series.- Gameblog.fr

Even though this fourth installment of the franchise goes further in terms of visuals, scenario, and overall polish than the previous ones, it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, and its basics may be considered old. It still is an great game for all those who like this kind of atmosphere and rich world, that set it apart from the bulk of today's productions.- Gameblog.fr

To glide from sunup to sundown. Here's the simple, but attractive pitch of Tiny Wings, rising star of the App Store who kicked off Angry Birds from the number one slot of the charts. Its principle is ridiculously simple: press the screen, and your bird will gain momentum. As soon as you let go, it glides. But you'll have to time your presses well with the random hills of the backgrounds in order to go as fast and as far as you can, and to score as much points as possible. But even though those hills are never the same thanks to their randomized generation, it's still becoming repetitive sooner or later; which is the main shortcoming of the game. With some added features, play modes and ideas, it could have been far more magical.- Gameblog.fr

Homefront is a classic first-person shooter, of which you could say it's efficient. But its looks seem old, it lacks ambition for its solo, and its multiplayer is scrawny, barely offering the minimum. It's a shame, because its story remains good, but a good game isn't a great game, and it's not like there's no great FPS out there.- Gameblog.fr

Even though it suffers some shortcomings when it comes to signature moves, or the overall sound department, Top Spin 4 is blessed with a pretty solid gameplay. Accessible and fun, it remains realistic as well with a huge career mode, and ranks up as the top title of the franchise to date.- Gameblog.fr

From atop this Total War: Shogun 2, eleven years of experience are looking right at you. The gameplay The Creative Assembly crafted for this new title is breathtakingly rich, almost intimidating, but fans will still feel right at home since the new elements aren't plenty. For newcomers, the challenge can be hard to overcome because the ruleset of the game isn't very well explained, but Shogun 2 also becomes, because of this, an adventure that is all the more satisfying to conquer. Knights Contract seems to have strong qualities... at first. A sexy witch with interesting powers, which is ultimately too limited ; a super strong knight, which is uninspired in his fighting style; an atypical universe, which is finally overwhelmed... and the complementarity gameplay couldn't save this duo. They are not made for each other, as this title is repetitive and dated in many ways. Do not sign this contract!- Gameblog.fr

Obsidian delivers a first DLC that matches their Fallout: New Vegas : tense, captivating, despite its linearity. With a tiny bit more difficulty! Once more, we'd almost forget about the aging 3D engine of Bethesda and the poor AI. I experienced it like a little pen & paper RPG scenario of a single night. My thanks to the Obisidian Game Master.- Gameblog.fr

Dragon Age II is blessed with a deep universe and a ton of content, but it's sadly undermined by its technical side. Even though, visually, the game goes beyond the original, it still forgoes some elements of its predecessor in order to become more action-oriented, which is a choice that will most probably keep dividing opinions. We'd have hoped to see this sequel install the franchise as a must-have by correcting the shortcomings of the original. Instead, we'll have to make-do with finding it most entertaining indeed, but without any added praise. Too bad.- Gameblog.fr

All the ingredients of the original are there : an original gameplay mechanic centered around the "coloring" of levels and groovy, interactive musics, funny cinematics, an overall easy-going atmosphere, and an above average production value... but deBlob 2 is never able to surprise as much as its predecessor, as the innovation factor was consumed with the original episode. On top of that, this sequel suffers from a poorly paced rhythm, and a repetitiveness you soon feel too much. Too bad for those who ere expecting much of it. Despite all this, it still remains a very decent platformer with an original twist, a lot of qualities, and most of all, a ton of charm.- Gameblog.fr

The benchmark of boxing games on consoles is setting the bar once more thanks to EA Canada's talent. They didn't transform the franchise completely, proposing instead an even more realistic rendering and a very alluring accessibility. Maybe some hardcore simulation-craving gamers would find some things to argue about (like some shortcomings in terms of gameplay precision, a lack of realism on some specific moves) but it would be a shame not to play this new reference of virtual boxing.- Gameblog.fr
