A massive improvement over its predecessor of last year. The sheer excitement and rush of adrenaline that the game constantly delivers without fail pushes the game’s few faults into the back of your mind. Turn up the volume and enjoy.- GameBiz

The game feels a lot like a movie, but the interaction is extensive enough that the player is a crucial part of the unfolding storyline.- GameBiz

The bigger environments and drivable vehicles are both welcomed additions to the series. The only let down is poor enemy A.I. in the single player missions but these are forgivable once you start playing multiplayer.- GameBiz

It may not be the most realistic in terms of solider damage and battlefield strategy, but for bringing across the atmosphere, and pure chaos of World War II, Call of Duty 2 is the still the best around.- GameBiz

Keeping alive the 2D platform on the little handheld that could make a retro junkie like me all warm and fuzzy inside, and it's an excellent throwback to the days of the 16-bit era where robots were ass kicking machines and a wrong step would have you plunging to your death, impaled through your metal chassis on a pit of spikes.- GameBiz
