If you want to see video clips, go watch the actual movie - It will look better anyway. If you want a groundbreaking three-dimensional platformer, you're still looking in the wrong place, bub. Little kids might be willing to look past the unoriginality and outdated gameplay... maybe they would even have some fun. But most kids, including those who are just kids at heart, would be smart enough to play elsewhere.

Even the most fanatic of Toy Story fans will see straight through this game... the unoriginality and outdated-ness coupled with the poor graphics and weak framerate send this straight to the bargain bins. If you want to follow the exploits of Buzz Lightyear, go watch the movie and leave this one at the toy store.

If you're not the diehard RPGer who lives for "Bauldur's Gate" ("AD&D is the only RPG!"), or if you ever enjoyed one of the Final Fantasy series (I know some of you Bauldur's Gaters like it. Come on, admit it!), then pick this one up right away. There are seven whole worlds waiting for you.

Suffice to say, Asheron's Call is a fun, semi-addictive game with a fantastic interface for people new to the genre. However, some drawbacks and the lack of complexity may drive "Everquest" and "Ultima Online" fanatics bonkers.

The closest Playstation will get to "Goldeneye," both in terms of system performance as well as the standard set by Mr. Bond's breakthrough gameplay. This game was a complete surprise, a great game released with little to no hype.

Though it doesn't add much to the tired genre, it manages to do everything well.

Why, it's the bastard child of "Starship Troopers" and "Star Wars!" Jet Force Gemini isn't nearly on par with Goldeneye or Zelda, but as a pure search-and-destroy, it has its moments.

Great story, acting, interface, are all wrapped up to create one of the best adventure games yet.

The new ships, new weapons (such as the extraordinarily nasty TAG missile...you'll see), the unbelievably large cap ships, and just the sheer joy of playing this title makes it an easy pick for space combat sim of the year.

In almost all ways, The Age of Kings expands and nearly perfects the already proven AOE formula. A few remaining AI and path-finding glitches are a bother, but overall there are very, very few things that one can fault AOE 2 for. This is easily the best RTS game to come out this year, far surpassing the original, and destined to immensely entertain eager RTS fans for a very long time.

Basically a chance for those who have never played a true old school RPG to see where it all started, as well as how things have evolved. The two games still hold up remarkably well, serving up a steaming plate of nostalgia.

With an emphasis on characterizations, and battles that are actually fun to play, this game totally grabbed me.

It's a breath of fresh air to play such an entertaining and well done video game. Since I'm a fan of skateboarding, I truly appreciate the quality of work put into this product, but skaters and non-skaters alike will find this game a joy to play.

A great new dose of anti-gravity racing magic and a must-have for all hardcore fans. Sure, you don't fix what 'aint broke, but I just wish the game had a little something more… a career more, vehicle upgrades, something.

The sound is good, but not good enough to be noticeable when combined with jaw-dropping graphics.

A great game, but not a perfect one. The battles and junction system have their flaws. At times you'll be too powerful; at other times, you'll just be drawing spells to gain strength. But the long ending that waits in store will make up for most of the negatives.

The interface is nothing short of brilliant. The story is well-developed and engrossing. The gameplay is challenging but well-balanced. The graphics and sound are breathtaking. Finally, it is simply a heck of a lot of fun.

The horrible ending to this game has ruined what looked to be a good contender for the best Playstation game of the year. All the potential is there, but Eidos and Crystal Dynamics simply released an unfinished product.

Bar none, the best FPS game to come down the pipe in quite awhile...By successfully blending the RPG and action elements, System Shock 2 has assured its place in gaming history.

If you're after a deeper football game or something that you can play alone, getting Blitzed isn't the right choice (the right choice is NFL 2K).

I just don't have the words to describe how much fun this game is. Rarely does a game captivate the stoic and hypercritical Game Revolution office, but Driver has done just that.

Allowing the gamer to actually wander around Pokemon Island on their own would have added a much-needed layer of depth and exploration. It's also safe to say that the appeal of this game is very limited to Pokemon fans.

In the end, Kingdoms doesn't do much that we haven't already seen in the original TA. The strategy, the engine, and everything else is pretty much the same as it was a couple of years ago. While it's not bad on a really fast machine, it's still a standard real-time strategy game that just didn't make me want to spend $1000 upgrading my computer to make it run smoothly.

This is one of the very best games I’ve played in years, and an instant recommendation for anyone who has ever fondled a joystick or stroked a mouse. Just remember to come up for air though, there is such a thing as dying of starvation or thirst. So get a glass, a plate, and an i.v. drip.

While it doesn't provide the graphical flash of "Final Fantasy 8," it delivers a different graphical beauty that feels warmer than the all too familiar polygonal experience. It's got a good story that sadly weakens at the end; though there's just enough steam left to get you through.

Although WDC is lacking a few important elements of a true racing sim, it still holds its own in the genre quite well. However, for hardcore sim fans, playing this game is kinda like watching a stripper; it's fun as hell while it lasts, but you're left yearning for much more, and chances are you'll look elsewhere to get it.

Then again, in R4 you get to have each race started by a sexy Japanese polygonal model. Hmmm... sex, Pac-Man, and racing. I think I'll go play some R4.

Considering the state of fighting games for the N64, Super Smash Brothers is actually high in its class. While the single player mode gets tiresome, it's a fun multi-player game and is worth a look.

It is far more co-operative [than "Ultima Online"], and there is much less player-killing. But this comes at a price. There is also much less interaction with the environment.
