As many may know, "Gran Turismo" ain’t much in the way of thrilling action or multiplayer (It’s not extremely fast and there are no real crashes or damage). In the end, High Stakes is just more fun.- Game Revolution

Go buy Silent Hill, pour yourself a strong drink, turn out all the lights, and immerse yourself in the sickness. It's a hell of a lot better than going to see the latest Wes Craven movie.- Game Revolution

The enemy AI is great; perhaps the best part of the game. Enemies will roll, crouch, sidestep and run to evade your fire. They'll even attempt to sneak up and ambush you.- Game Revolution

Really shines in its depth. The well crafted story, admirable science-fiction world, fully realized scenario, and quality core gameplay are sure to please...it just doesn't innovate enough.- Game Revolution

A party game with great intentions, but unsatisfying delivery. This is a tedious and often frustrating experience, and its few bright spots get squashed under the weight of Mario's fat, boring ass. This is one dead party.- Game Revolution

Pales in comparison to its cousins and is not worth the money to buy. With repetitive gameplay and almost no depth, you're better off letting Dracula ravage the countryside. Might help lower global population numbers.- Game Revolution

This is, without a doubt, the closest thing out there to actually getting together with a bunch of your friends on a Sunday afternoon, taking your characters into a dungeon, and using you own BOO to find out if that bottomless pit was actually bottomless.- Game Revolution

All in all, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is a great game and a worthy sequel. Those of you who loved "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" will absolutely love this beauty. Turok 2 has managed to impress me just as much as its predecessor.- Game Revolution

In the end, what we have here is the best use of the first-person engine that I have ever encountered. In a world full of "Doom" clones, it's good to see that some designers are still thinking for themselves.- Game Revolution

Bugs aside, this is the most ambitious simulation ever attempted, and one of the best simulations ever made. It combines extreme realism and unprecedented depth to create an experience that any self respecting sim junkie should not be without.- Game Revolution

Simply put, Bungie did an excellent job at reading the faults of the original by making change where change was needed and leaving the successful areas alone... In the end, whether playing single player or multiplayer, Myth II offers the best real-time strategy experience in the industry.- Game Revolution

The N64 is a 3D workhorse, and Zelda proves it with great textures, lighting, tons of little environmental effects, and smooooth framerates with no slowdown. Faces, the toughest graphical challenge on 3D characters, are fantastic in Zelda. Characters blink, look around and change expressions with surprising grace.- Game Revolution

If you're fiending for some more Lara, and I mean absolutely jonesin'... then I guess you could pick this one up. For the other 99.9% of us, go play "TR" or "TR2" again or even for the first time. Or better yet, forget about Lara Croft altogether.- Game Revolution

The designers heard everyone say that their favorite part of "Shadows of the Empire" was the first Hoth level, so they made an entire game out of that concept. Not a lot of depth, but a heck of a lot of fun.- Game Revolution

Brave Fencer Musashi has some cool gameplay elements in it that will wow the most jaded console gamer, but the formulaic story, annoying characters, and "kiddie" feel of the game end up distracting the gamer as well as knocking it down a grade.- Game Revolution

A barrage of good things. The graphics, sound, music, levels, and difficulty all come together perfectly. Naughty Dog has made Crash a much better game, something that is commendable when so many sequels come up short.- Game Revolution

Psygnosis did a killer job with not only track design, but in giving the whole game a feel and challenge that usually only comes with good Formula One racers.- Game Revolution

So, if you sometimes find yourself sitting down in a room of your people, and you find yourself staring endlessly at each one of them, picturing them on the receiving end of your boom-stick (12 gauge Remington), then go out and buy Blood 2. A breath of incredibly fresh air. Equal parts action, platform, and puzzler, this baby breaks through the mire and shows what some truly original game design (and a lot of heavy drug use) can amount to.- Game Revolution

Playing this game is kind of like getting into a good book. The first few hours may be boring or even painful, but once you get into it, you'll be up until the wee hours of the morning flipping pages (or pressing buttons) trying to find out what happens next. And let me tell you - the story is first-rate and the plot gets thicker than a pint of Guinness straight from the tap.- Game Revolution

You want gamers to really hate your game? Here's how to do it. Make the gameplay repetitive and uninteresting, then let them complete 99% of a level only to have the character die inexplicably and restart the level all over again. Body Harvest fits the preceding bill to a "T". This game has neither the innovation, the depth, nor a halfway interesting story to keep you playing for any extended period of time.- Game Revolution

One cool feature in this game which really sets it apart from the pack is the Critical Hit system. If you hit someone in the head or just particularly hard, they flash purple and you gain health, giving you not only an incentive to kill your enemies, but kill them with style.- Game Revolution
