The horrible AI and wonky controls result in extremely stiff gameplay.

This lack of depth pulls it away from becoming an exemplary title.

Another surprise to me was the great management of textures within the game.

Less good than the interface, but not bad by any means is Original War’s graphics.

A funny but repetitive (and eventually tedious) real-time strategy game.

The new features and additions give this game more replayability than the combination of all the single player games collecting dust on my shelf.

The game is arguably too simple for its own good and the result is a tedious and unimaginative gaming experience.

A decent game but not anywhere near an actual simulation.

It’s basically just a big mess -- a well made big mess, but a big mess nonetheless.

It's a short but wholly entertaining first person shooter, made more so by its intriguing setting and plot.

The shortened gameplay and difficulty really puzzled me as who the ultimate audience would be because certainly, some of the cartoon's younger audience will have to struggle somewhat with the game's relatively short length.

    Man, is that dialogue butchered.

The movie had a tired sense after a mere ninety minute running time. Island Attack does not fare much better.

Ultimately, I left Starfighter SE with mixed feelings like one of the characters at the end of the game. He has done his share of the fighting and would simply want to walk off the stage.

It’s mostly fun to play. It takes 50-100 hours to go through the game once, and I could see playing a second or third time since the quests change slightly depending on the camp you choose to join.

Well-polished and just plain fun to play. It also held, for me at least, a warm dose of nostalgia that left me feeling all gooey inside.

    Dazzling scenery.

If I found myself completely without a life, with hours and hours on my hands with nothing else to do, then the universe of BCM would be a great escape.

This is, visually, the most impressive Star Wars title, par excellence.

This isn't a complete failure per se but it certainly was not the Halo-level of title that Microsoft was looking for.

I started playing Halo early one afternoon. Several hours in, I figured I should probably take a break to get a bite to eat, so I said to myself, "I'll just finish this one level first". Suffice to say, I never did get around to eating much that day.

Overall, wish they'd focused more on world design (making it larger) than the jokes.

There is no solid gameplay to back up what is, at the onset, a graphically engaging 2D engine, complete with special effects.

If you’re a diehard gridiron fan looking for an accurate simulation of the sport, you’ll likely want to stick with EA Sports’ Madden NFL 2002. With that said, NFL Fever looks and sounds awesome, and plays fast, so if it’s an arcade football game with all the trimmings that you’re after, NFL Fever 2002 would be an excellent addition to your playbook.

Unfortunately, if you don’t often host gaming sessions with your buddies, you won’t get the same satisfaction competing against AI bots, especially with the lack of a reward system.

Easily one of the best fighting engines in a hockey game to date.

An excellent and vast real-time strategy game that is complex yet fun to play, and which provides almost unlimited replayability.

A testosterone soaked soap opera. With a storyline that will keep you deciding who to trust and what really is going on right up until the end, it’s a great bit of entertainment.

This game has such a high replay value that it’s worth so much more than the SRP on the package.

    Solid but unspectacular.
