Solid graphics and sound and fun gameplay are things just about everyone can appreciate in a game, and while the fishing genre doesn't have the widest appeal, the arcadelike aspect of the game opens it up to a wider audience.
-
A decent game but not anywhere near an actual simulation.

-
Fish fans, fear for the fun factor - it's frightful.
-
Bass 2002 seems to have tried to make this both a simulation and an arcade game, but has failed on both fronts, making this a lackluster experience at best.
-
With no challenge, fishing becomes boring and repetitive -- might as well go down to the corner store and pick up some wrapped bass for dinner.
-
Too limited and redundant to be recommended. I never felt connected to the game and I was disappointed with how easy it was to win the tournament.
