Despite the average graphics, sound, and gameplay length, HSX: HyperSonic Extreme is a great racing game that will keep you mesmerized for as long as you play it.

A fun, playable and respectable effort at capturing the feel of World War II combat, but its magnificent cutscenes and (initially) superb soundtrack end up promising an experience that the blocky graphics, uninspired landscapes and poor sound effects can’t make good on.

There are a lot of incongruous facets to the story, like the godlike knowledge of science and music that these band members seem to possess.

While the game could certainly have used some refinement in a number of key areas, at the end of the day I still enjoyed my time with it.

In closing, I really wish Namco would simply come up with one comprehensive disc that contains all of the classic games and put these yearly Namco Museum releases to rest. Instead they keep dishing out these cookie cutter compilations with only a modicum of changes and expect fans to bite. I, for one, have had enough. But I still love Namco's games.

At best this would be a good hand-me-down game, passing from one kid to another to try to impart a lesson or two about natural history before he or she moves onto something a whole lot more fun. But that’s a stretch of Biblical proportions. Darwin probably wouldn’t approve.

Lair does not suck, but judging from the comments and reviews from most of the media there are a lot of game reviewers who simply aren’t prepared to accept the SIXAXIS control scheme.

The game definitely has its moments, but you'll have to play a lot longer than you probably want to if you want to experience half of them.

The game might look great, but the gameplay is seriously lacking. Five years ago, Family Guy might have made a wave in the gaming world; today it makes hardly a ripple.

A very cool Wii-exclusive gameplay features is the enhanced integration of the black suit. It was more of a visual concept on the PS3 and 360, but in this game it really becomes part of the strategy.

Although Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed shows a lot of potential – the few areas it misses are so detrimental to the gameplay that you would be better off giving this one a pass.

Strip away the gimmick and you are left with a generic arcade racer with a poor physics model and terribly flawed trick system.

Terminally flawed, a hollow exercise in empire building -- call it real-time strategy for Dummies. There's nothing wrong with focusing on a particular time period, but the design seems willfully shallow and superficial.

The good graphics and challenge do not make up for a corny story, generic game mechanics, and obnoxious music.

As a free, unlimited, online shooter, War Rock fits the bill quite well, however the more money you put into it, the more you will begin to see its flaws.

I loved PlayStation Move Heroes for what it is – not what everyone was hoping or expecting it to be. This is a fun and challenging collection of party games enjoyable for one or two players that puts Sony's unique motion control system to great use. And the fact that Sony decided to put six of their most famous characters into the game doesn't sell those franchises short. It merely reignites and fuels an interest in those characters and their stories so we can start looking forward to their next-gen sequels. Heroes is a great party game for young and old, family and friends.

Disney Sing It unfortunately doesn’t make a very good karaoke game because of various mechanical and design issues, but with its sound list of popular Disney pop tunes appealing to the Hannah Montana and High School Musical crowd, it certainly does fine as a karaoke disc.

Simply an average game, both in quality and the skill level needed to complete it. I was very disappointed that the educational aspect that the series was founded on was truncated to include a small area before each level.

I recommend this title for those seeking a good co-op title for the Wii that doesn’t involve two plumbers. If you're still not sure on whether or not to pick this title up, then I would hold off until it drops to the $20 dollar mark.

Traveller’s Tales should have left Super Monkey Ball as a puzzle game, instead of trying to turn it into an adventure platformer.

Some of his levels are filled with ridiculous amounts of enemies, and even though the levels appear to have multiple stages or sections, there isn't a checkpoint in sight. I love a challenge, but I hate mindless repetition.

In the market for a puzzle game that'll really take dedication and time? Stick to Ico and its ilk. Looking for something to unwind with for 20 minutes after a hard day at work? Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge is worth every penny.

Note to Japanese game designers – when you kill somebody they had better stay dead unless you give me a real good reason why they keep coming back. Clones, holograms, “beaming” in from remote barracks, anything!

While The Chosen: Well of Souls had its good points, I still found my attention wavering. The controls are easy to pick up on, especially if you have played "Diablo II." The story is okay, but we’ve all seen this save the world or perish act before.

Bodycount is fun enough but seems to come off more as a late summer diversion; something to keep you busy until a "real FPS" game arrives. It has its moments, along with an awkward control scheme and a glitched grenade system, but Bodycount sadly ends up being just another disposable FPS, released at the wrong time, and destined for the budget bin.

If there's any real fault of Crime Lab, it's that it doesn't do anything particularly new or interesting. It's a well-crafted game that anyone looking the pass the time on a bus ride or a lunch break could have a grand old time with, but it does little to tantalize the senses of capture the imagination.

This title succeeds in its mission to be one of the most detailed and historically accurate recreations of the Dark Ages. But a clunky interface and lack of tutorial made an already complex game almost impossible for new players to pick up and enjoy.
