I really think there is a market for old school strategy games with modern graphics, but these games still have to emphasize fun over tedium. If you’re going to make a game about great historical warriors and legendary battles, make sure your players can quickly join the thick of the fight.- Game Chronicles

Granted, Battleground is intended to be played online, but more often than not the online lobbies are empty. This lack of popularity all-but signs the death warrant for an online-heavy game like Battlegrounds - as a significant portion of the game's longevity is thrown out the window when there is nobody to play it with. In closing, while Red Faction: Battlegrounds is certainly a serviceable spiritual successor to the classic Atari game Combat, it really has little to offer for veteran gamers looking for more than an arena-based blast fest.- Game Chronicles

Some of his levels are filled with ridiculous amounts of enemies, and even though the levels appear to have multiple stages or sections, there isn’t a checkpoint in sight. I love a challenge, but I hate mindless repetition.- Game Chronicles

A few months ago, the table poker video game was a novelty, but as more and more of these games hit the shelves, the quicker the novelty wears off.- Game Chronicles

Attempts to make several bold steps forward in both gameplay and immersive story design. While it nails the story aspects perfectly there is still just a bit too much of the old Tomb Raider showing through the seams.- Game Chronicles

After playing this game I came to the sad realization that being a gangsta isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Maybe I don’t want to be a gangsta anymore. It looks like I have to come up with another dream.- Game Chronicles

While the title lacks a certain quality that is normally associated with next-gen titles, I found that despite its few shortcomings it is a very enjoyable game for the most part.- Game Chronicles

The character morphing was way cool and I think that more games should have this feature.- Game Chronicles

Trollz gameplay was probably some of the least insulting that I have found in this whole kids show/video game crossover genre. I only wish there were more than five mini-games, and maybe a bit less story.- Game Chronicles

Tried-and-true fans of the original will be ecstatic with Total Destruction, but the younger hardcore gamers will probably be wishing they were playing their Greatest Hits version of "Devil May Cry 3" or "God of War" for the umpteenth time.- Game Chronicles

This is by far one of the neatest titles that has ever graced the PSP.- Game Chronicles

A valiant attempt at bringing a quality pool game to the PSP, but between the load times and the clunky shot procedures most of the fun is quickly sapped out of this title.- Game Chronicles

The gameplay wears a bit thin when you realize trying to accomplish real-life goals just isn’t very interesting.- Game Chronicles

There is a fun and compelling multiplayer game lurking beneath the mindless combat and level grinding that boasts a few subtle nods toward Diablo, but you don’t want to play this alone and you don’t want to have four people paying full price for what is arguably a budget-quality title.- Game Chronicles

The only positive thing I can say about the game is that the designers at least nailed the look and feel of the show, but how hard was that when you have all the artists, and actors?- Game Chronicles

If you were a fan of Backyard Wrestling before the game then this title was made just for you. If you enjoy ultra-violent games like "Tenchu" or "Thrill Kill" then you will definitely want to play this game.- Game Chronicles

These guys deserve credit for developing two solid basketball games despite the snickers and giggles amongst the gaming world. And they deserve credit for the contributions they made to the genre four years ago. It’s just a case of too little too late.- Game Chronicles

This would make for an okay budget title, but at a $40 price tag, it's a complete rip-off. Unless you're a die-hard puzzle fan who happens to spot this in a bargain bin, Mind Gym 3D isn't worth it.- Game Chronicles

If you can suck it up long enough to get to the main menu you will find a very unique shooter with a mix of squad and personal combat that ranges from ground to air to space. Breed is a refreshing diversion from a game like Halo but it’s certainly no substitute.- Game Chronicles

To shallow for teens or adults, too overwhelming for kids, and too mind-numbingly repetitive for everyone, How to Train Your Dragon sets the bar pretty average for the rest of the movie license line-up coming this year.- Game Chronicles

WALL-E on the PlayStation 3 is about the best out of the three versions I reviewed and may be worth buying. If you want a decent game that has the sections of multiplayer that younger ones can easily have fun with and a few hours of WALL-E trash gathering or EVE flying this is worth it.- Game Chronicles

Fantastic. They do a great job of including the main parts of the legends of King Arthur and his Knights, but they deviate from it enough to improve on things. The best part is the little nods to The Holy Grail.- Game Chronicles

Dead Reefs is about that, pretty dead in the water. If you really enjoy these searching adventure games you may be amused for a while but the keyboard and character issues are pretty annoying.- Game Chronicles
