There isn’t much of a game here, merely a set of choices, where by trial and error you eventually reach the end and win. The same concept has survived for nearly 20 years in a little game called "Dragon’s Lair," and it works just as well with the text-only Sprung. As long as you know what to expect you shouldn’t be disappointed.

It’s highly addictive and just plain fun, which is why we play these games in the first place.

As long as you know this game has nothing to do with the Wild West and don't mind playing just another mindless FPS game with a vulgar script it's probably worth a rental, or possibly a budget purchase if you have some really low standards.

While I do appreciate some of the more conceptual features of Ancient Shadow, the control scheme left me frustrated to the point where the game became more a lesson in aggravation than it was the nostalgic hop back to my childhood I was expecting.

The game only takes six hours to beat but yet it costs nearly 60 dollars. I’ll let you do the math.

There is a lot of appealing content buried in this title; I just wish there was a better game experience to drive me to want to play it. I appreciate the $1 entry fee, but sadly there are better racers out there for the same money or even free. This Superbike has crashed and burned before the race even starts. Perhaps some more time in the garage and a patch or two can fix things up but for now…avoid.

It's not that Herbie is a bad game; it's just way too simple and way too short to hold your interest, and your money could be better spent on any of several other GBA games out there, racing or otherwise.

Ultimately, Stronghold 3 is a promising game that really could have used another year or two of development time.

While not pushing the presentation limits of the Wii, Wing Island is the perfect match for the motion control ability of that system and a great time for kids and adults.

This game shows incredible potential, but anyone besides platforming purists will probably want to call their local exorcist as soon as possible to rid their DS of the vile corruption that is Death Jr.

Activision and DreamWorks have another solid movie-licensed game ready for fans of the upcoming film.

Battle Nexus isn't quite as fun as past games or even as fun as the show itself, but it is pretty solid game overall, and is worth picking up for old times sake, or for the new fan.

Sonic Free Riders is certainly a hit, with some of the best Sonic-themed racing action since the hedgehog grabbed his first hoverboard. The menu system is unnecessarily clunky and there is a bit of a learning curve to playing the game, but once you figure it all out, there is no end to the fun you and your family and friends will have playing this game.

I like the Final Fantasy Tactics games and was initially impressed with the presentation of Spectral Souls, but after the very first battle I was convinced that this game was going to be long and agonizing, and it was.

I stopped having "true fun" about halfway through X-Men: Destiny and sadly finished out of obligation and a curiosity to see how the story would unfold. Hopefully, if you're a bigger fan of the X-Men franchise than I am you'll have a better time. Casual gamers should probably skip – this is one for true X-Men aficionados.

The sixty minutes it takes to finish the five short levels isn’t worth the investment.

The whole time I was playing this game I was thinking of ways to destroy it.

Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find a few moments of fun, I can really only recommend this game to diehard fans or perhaps new converts after this summer’s movie. With some serious control issues, casual gamers may lose their momentum before the story and gameplay can capture their interest.

Unless you are a huge AND 1 fan, please avoid this game, otherwise find some cheat codes and unlock the movies. They are the only thing worth public consumption.

If you are looking for a great military game set during the Vietnam War then I can rattle off a list of about four great games and three good games. Unfortunately, Elite Warriors: Vietnam will not appear on any list other than war games to avoid.

Scanning the web, there is no question that a number of Pro Skater veterans are miffed by Ride’s complete overhaul of their series – but then again, those same folks would be similarly unhappy with another rehash of the nine previous releases. It’s nice to see the series take a new direction – but it definitely could stand a bit more tweaking.

I think this game’s real value lies in the simplicity and accessibility that would be really good for an enjoyable party game or as a rental.

There are so many more and better offerings for kids on the Wii. Slide past this one if you see it in the store.
