Serious fans of the sport will likely want to wait for something better to come along, at least something with more reliable shooting mechanics and much better A.I.

Stick to the PSP, and Dark Mirror won’t let you down.

My current favorite fighting game on any system. It's realistic, but more importantly, it’s fun, and you won’t find a better game to pop in your PS2 the next time you have friends over.

If Carve were trying to compete with AAA racing titles then it would be quickly dismissed as a failure, but with an affordable price tag and a multiplayer element including flawlessly smooth online racing, there is no reason that any fan of watercraft racing or Xbox Live gaming should skip this game.

A bold experiment that ultimately fails under the weight of its own ambition. There is nothing here that hasn’t been done in other games and done better, and while X2 might combine these elements, it fails to improve on any of them.

Bolt borrows characters from the movie, the entire game story is rooted in the TV show premise of the film, which sadly also means that Rhino, the hamster that stole the show in the theaters, only appears for the prologue and epilogue of the game, since the game you are playing is actually the Bolt marathon he is watching on TV.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic can either be an incredible fantasy romp, or a grueling, dissatisfying venture depending on what you’re expecting.

Taken as a whole, Lethal Alliance lacks that variety required to keep a game engaging from start to finish.

I loved Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on the console and the PSP offers a fun and challenging smaller scale version of that same game. While the overall game design is pretty much the same, the way the designers broke up the levels and made some subtle changes really created a unique experience, rather than simply rehashing what I had already done on the 360.

Darwinia+ is one of the coolest titles currently available in the XBLA library.

The big draw for Need for Speed Most Wanted is the return of the cops, and while that aspect of the game works great on the console and PC where you can actually lose them with skillful driving, Most Wanted 5-1-0 on the PSP bashes you over the head with unrelenting cop chases that suck nearly all the fun right out of the game.

Ace Combat: Joint Assault is a fun ride and it was great to finally play a classic Ace Combat game, even if it wasn't totally next-gen.

I can think of a dozen things that would have made this game better, or at least more attractive to the casual gamer, but for those who love the Lord of the Rings and need a solid strategy fix on their PSP, this will easily fill that need for a few months to come.

Overall, Mahjong Cub3d is a solid title if you enjoy puzzles and have a fondness for Mahjong Solitaire. At $30, it's a budget title for the 3DS, but it's still a considerable amount of cash. Still, the title packs a solid amount of play time, and it's a refreshing take on a classic game. If you're a puzzle fan looking for a title on the 3DS, Mahjong Cub3d is a good choice.

I will have to say that Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a very fun and innovative game that is easy to get into and play.

You’ll have a fun time breaking the law to overthrow a government and not even know who you’re working for.

NASCAR 07 really does compile the best gameplay elements from the previous four years’ worth of their NASCAR franchise. While this would normally warrant a hands-down recommendation – especially releasing this close to the (apparent) end of the PS2’s lifespan – NASCAR 07’s technical glitches really deal a serious blow to the fun.

A tight, relatively deep gameplay system combines with classic styling and characters to create a time warp of a game that is still well worth a look for older gamers.

It’s easy to use and understand menus and information pages make for fun gameplay and quick results when you know what to change to improve your citizen’s lives.

At a cost of $10, Ryder White hardly breaks the bank, but there are some really great titles to be found for that same cash. This one is necessary only for serious fans of Dead Island.

Tales from Space: About a Blob is a solid first effort from DrinkBox Studios, and I recommend not only buying this game, but keeping a close eye on their future titles.

This game will require a lot of patience to play and master.

But with party games, when all is said and done, it ends up being nothing more than button mashing, making it hard to recommend in the light of the other Grade-A titles out there.

It won’t win any awards for originality, but with quality visuals, outstanding voice acting, and challenging gameplay, Over the Hedge is guaranteed to entertain and delight young and old alike, and should make the perfect companion piece to the upcoming film.

I would enjoy SimCity any time, and veterans of this series will love SimCity Creator immensely, while newcomers will enjoy it even as they learn to play this unique city-building simulation. One caveat; I wouldn’t recommend this game if you do not have the time to invest.

A good title for a younger sibling or cousin, a bad one for a platform fanatic.

It's only flaw might be that the game is so unique that it can take quite a while to get into it, and the game is not very forgiving.

Still, if you aren't normally a fan of a style of play that involves pushing yourself to your limits and beating your old scores, you may want to consider Two Tribes' other offerings over this, especially Toki Tori.
