Unreal Tournament III is about pure adrenalin and blazing reflexes and nothing can touch UT3 for experiencing both in classic shooter fashion online or going solo.

Rich narrative, engaging gameplay, and total attention to role-playing detail.

One of the most intense gaming experiences I've had in a long time, without being too difficult. The game is beautiful, innovative, and a fun run when you get right down to it.

For those of us who crave battles with thousands of bloodthirsty warriors on each side, the Total War series is still your best bet for total carnage.

And while previous games like "Silpheed" and "R-Type Final" are both excellent games, there is something about the style and the legacy associated with the Gradius franchise that makes Gradius V a force to be reckoned with.

Sure, the levels and even the gameplay get a bit repetitive at times, but there is always great action and the potential to share that action with your friends, and that is what really make this game rise above its predecessors and a total joy to play.

But for a series that I have traditionally given perfect scores and continuous editorial awards, I can’t help but feel a bit let down by some personally distasteful music and poor note designs.

It may feel like a minor upgrade, but NCAA Football 12 really adds the eye candy graphics to make it compete with other sports games this year. NCAA Football 12 takes us to the next level of depth and authenticity with new Game Day traditions, improved Road to Glory mode, and a ton of little detail improvements that make it a real joy for any college football fan to play. All that's missing is the tailgate party.

With it’s mix of stealth and supernatural tactics combined with the occasional gunplay, The Darkness is a great addition to the library of any mature gamer looking for a frightfully good time. You might play this game in the dark but you’ll be sleeping with the lights on.

Simply amazing.

I am big fan of Final Fantasy III for the DS, but the change of pace in Lunar Knights was quite refreshing. I didn’t like the use of colors as much in Lunar Knights though.

Sadly, Test Drive Unlimited is probably the closest I will ever get to Oahu, but thanks to Eden and some of the best environmental visuals I have seen this year, I can comfortably say I have already been there.

If Blur had come out at any other time I might be more forgiving, but there are better games out there right now, and not just in the racing genre. Give it a rental but wait for a sale or price drop before making this a permanent addition to your collection.

The game plays well but you should have at least a decent computer to play the game on medium settings.

It offers things that both Underground and Hot Pursuit lack. Nice visuals and an amazing array of tuners and exotics to choose from could possibly make this the “most wanted” racing game for the Playstation 2 this season.

With its highly varied gameplay, mesmerizing atmosphere, gorgeous soundtrack and overall polish, Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic is a hypnotizing game so absorbing that it made the world around me dissolve away.

A stunning achievement in interactive entertainment. With a solid story, engaging characters, stunning visuals, and delightful dialogue, this is one adventure you simply won’t be able to tear yourself away from.

The best thing about Sunrise is that it doesn’t take a huge time commitment. The load times are fast and you can keep this game on your hard drive for months and years to come and just pick up and play whenever you have some spare time.

There’s nothing too innovative here; just a great solid platform title with loads of content and fun.

That said, however, Pixeljunk Shooter 2 is an excellent game. With a fresh graphical style, tight controls, and innovative gameplay, it's everything a downloadable game should be. While there are some minor stumbles for the more casual, puzzle-oriented player, that shouldn't discourage anyone who's curious from picking it up.

The massive maps, the use of vehicles, both as transportation and weapons in combat, as well as advanced tactical strategies for working as a team really bring this series into the next generation of military gaming.

The action is unbelievably intense and the historical material is researched and presented in a way that borders on being educational.

DOOM is by far one of the better XBLA titles available on the 360.

If you are looking for more popular music you might want to check out "DDR2MAX" for the PS2, but if you are in the mood for some killer techno tunes and house music then Ultramix is the ultimate selection of high-energy dance beats.

I whole heartedly urge you to pick up this title if you have even the smallest interest in RPG’s, or strategy gaming or are just a LucasArts fan.

Whether you are a hardcore X-Men fan, an RPG-lover, a single-player, or a multiplayer, this game has something to offer everyone, and with more than 70 branching levels and over 100 potential hours of gameplay, there is a whole lot of X-Men and Brotherhood action just waiting for you to explore.

It's hard to get around the fact that Skylanders is a game for kids. From the toy-driven expansion scheme to the bright, friendly colors and music, there's not a lot in this game to appeal to the Dead Space or Gears of War crowd. But for gamers of all ages willing to embrace the game's aesthetics and kick back and have a good time, Skylanders is the 3DS's first great platformer, and well worth taking for a spin.
