Feels like a great game that wasn't finished. It's not that the game's too short; it's that it's too sparse. More enemy types, weapons, and spells could have really fleshed this out into a hack-and-slash classic. As is, it feels like a demo stretched into a full length game -- and a short one at that.

The game feels like it was made a few years ago, took few risks, and was just now released. Now it feels dated.

Suffers from outdated technology being applied to a game design that doesn't really know what it wants to be.

It isn't a great game, and it quickly becomes redundant, but it's a guilty pleasure you can get for cheap.

It’s disappointing that to get the most enjoyment out of Rogue Agent, you have to “bond” with others.

Playable (if you're lucky enough to avoid the movement bug), and it hits all the marks expected of a scrolling shooter. It's hard to applaud a game for being merely adequate, however, and Blowout's plainness will make it of little interest to the majority of gamers.

Wii Play may sound like some kinky German fetish video (our last Wii pun, we promise!), but it's actually good, clean fun overall -- aimed at those who either A) are in diapers, B) list Pac-Man as the last video game they played, or C) a twisted combo of both. It also caters to lazy bastards, with its ability to be played from a sitting position.

But what ultimately tips the scales against Mega Man X7 is the series' continued insistence on being difficult to the point of absurdity. Three lives and no save points other than at the end of long levels just doesn't cut it.

The story mode is boring and full of repetition, the controls are overly simplistic.

At best, Romancing SaGa is an eight-part RPG miniseries contained in one overflowing DVD. At worst, it's an unbalanced snooze-fest whose surface you won't feel too compelled to scratch.

The core game is still excellent, but offering a handful of new campaigns and maps without even attempting stir up the gameplay feels like a gyp.

Factor in a very mushy and imprecise hit detection system, and Nick's life can drain frighteningly quickly without you even realizing he's being hit.

Not funny, despite its pathetic attempt at being so. The jokes are racist for the sake of being racist, confuse fecal references with wit, and are just generally asinine.

For some, Shellshock may represent the true horrors of war; for us, it simply embodies the terror of a bad game.

And this is one mythical, three-headed dog that could possibly have some bite in it, if only the damn thing would only, for one second, consider ceasing its infernal barking.

Driver ’76 offers a number of fun missions playable through an entertaining driving engine that will make you want to set up some heavy duty police chases and go tearing through the city. Unfortunately the miniscule police presence really puts a damper on the fun, and the tired out graphics engine just can’t cope.

It’s better than DBZ games used to be – back when nobody, fan or otherwise, could possibly stomach them – but Atari and Bandai still have a ways to go.

More about the story it presents than the game play used to advance the plot. Luckily, said story is so compelling that it largely makes up for the sins committed in other aspects of the title, keeping the game interesting despite the trial-and-error mission setup and sometimes-confusing objectives.

Plays just like it looks: a lumbering version of "Crazy Taxi."

It's hard to imagine that Corvette, though it's priced to compete with a case of Bud, will be able to satisfy. There are much more competitive racers that also feature the fabled 'vette, along with decent physics, AI, and play modes.

I think Boogie is a horrible game. It’s so bad; I’m nearly offended that I even had to play it. Sure it’s aimed squarely at the casual market, but casual gamers aren’t necessarily stupid gamers.

Just not a good game, no matter how much you love the Gundam universe. It's repetitive and unchallenging and not at all up to the system's capabilities.

Offers up some fun, mindless action that fizzles out rather quickly. It's an easy game to pick up and dive right into, but for a single player, it's a weekend rental at best.

If you’ve never played it before, you’ll find Blazing Angels a good, but not great game. It’s a perfectly acceptable time waster for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

The game itself is average. The controls don’t do enough to make the game stand out. The extras and bonus features are pointless.
