The multiplayer just isn't interesting enough to bother with while the single player game offers no replayability to speak of.- FiringSquad

A masterpiece of game design and development. Like its Black Isle-developed "Planescape" cousin, BG2 is a tour-de-force in computer roleplaying.- FiringSquad

The levels started off to a great start, but tapered off way too quickly in a way that was just disappointing. They had a great story going for them, but some more length and detail would have gone a long way for them.- FiringSquad

We loved the graphics, sound, game play, to put it simply -- everything. Crimson Skies is bound to bring some ray of light to your tortured existence. If not with its campy humor, then possibly with its incredibly fun game play.- FiringSquad

The gameplay of the Homeworld series is now cemented as revolutionary. Games in the future will either draw upon this series as influence, or out and out steal its ideas. Homeworld and its sequel, Cataclysm, have done more for RTS than all others save perhaps Herzog Zwei and the PC Classic "Dune 2000."- FiringSquad

There certainly is potential in the game, but too many things about the game make it feel unfinished: the lack of distinct monsters, the degeneration of the level design as the game progressed, and the small amount of gameplay in the box.- FiringSquad

Instead of being a restriction on what they can do, the license is nothing but a positive effect on the game.- FiringSquad

The combat, first and foremost, is just plain awesome. With all the tools of the 2nd edition AD&D system available, Black Isle have created some awesome encounters for you to tackle.- FiringSquad

Diablo II isn't a perfect game - the save system and battle.net are the two major issues we had, though we are still baffled by the lackluster graphics. However, when it comes down to it, Diablo II is undeniably fun.- FiringSquad

Deus Ex has raised the standard for first person adventure games with its open ended design, and seamless integration of the story into the game play.- FiringSquad

The thick atmosphere, the AI which uses (and forces you to use) Sun Tzu's principles, the great graphics and sound - it's an amazing work of art.- FiringSquad

We loved this game! As far as 3-D RTS games go, this is the best one we have ever played. With very few flaws this game pleases in almost every aspect.- FiringSquad

Though the game progression is linear, replayability exists in running through the game again just to see if you missed any of the subtle humor, and to finish the game as a different character, since each has its own ending.- FiringSquad

Complete with in-game cinematics, amazing cut-scenes and great speech-conveyed plot (moments), this is as close to an interactive movie as the Roberts boys have ever been.- FiringSquad

For the casual gamer, Allegiance finally gives you a space shooter that's fun to play in multiplayer. It has a point, it has huge furballs with dozens of fighters flying around and it can be played at any time. Just fire up the computer, find a public or premium match, join in and fly.- FiringSquad

The levels are even bigger and more interesting. The game will take a good while to finish - 50 hours isn't out of the question, so you'll definitely get a good bang for your buck.- FiringSquad

There is nothing flat out wrong with X, it's just that after you finish the game (either story or achieve your long-term goals), there's nothing left to do. This is where the genre is supposed to be strongest - the freedom to do whatever - yet X somehow misses the mark.- FiringSquad

A stunning work of art, full of creativity and originality. It is faithful to the rules of both AD&D and Planescape yet bends them enough to make for a different experience for hardcore veterans without ruining the game.- FiringSquad

Without better DM map design, more polished graphics and artwork and maybe more panache in the weapons design department, we don't feel that Unreal Tournament is quite ready to earn our seal of approval as the uber-shooter to carry gaming into the next millennium.- FiringSquad

People have different styles of play to go along with different tastes and preferences. You now have some choice as to which RPG is for you. I could never really say which is better than the others are since they are so unique, yet so common.- FiringSquad

It's got a fascinating and complex plot that's based on real history and legends, so playing the game is in many ways, an "educational" experience. However, when you get down to the core, Gabriel Knight 3 is a solid, but not earth shattering adventure game.- FiringSquad

To really make the game more than a 5 minute thrill ride, dedication and study and going to have to be a large part of the game for you. Fighting against opponents in Flanker is very challenging. Lowering the realism will help quite a bit until you feel ready to notch the realism up some.- FiringSquad

AOK is as addictive as crack, but at the same time, as refined as a 30 year old cognac. Package all that into a drop dead gorgeous graphics engine and it's easy to see that Ensemble and Microsoft have a real winner on their hands; AOK is going to be around for a long time.- FiringSquad

There are just a couple of minor things holding it back : the slightly jumpy mouselook feature, and the slight frustration in finding specific items or areas on particular levels. In the great scheme of things these are a small problems in an otherwise fantastic action shooter.- FiringSquad
