When you are running at full speed as Sonic, hitting all the boosts, pulling off the loops, and outrunning the Orca whale as it demolishes the very pier you are running on (still the best part of the game), you remember why the game is so much fun. Those parts alone are almost worth the price of admission. It's just that pesky rest of the game that ends up ruining all the fun.- Extreme Gamer

Almost everything about Halo: Reach is perfect. The campaign feels great other than a few slow spots and stupid AI - and the multiplayer and matchmaking set a standard that all FPS games should be following. On top of that, the customization that Bungie has given players access to is second to none.- Extreme Gamer

Phantasy Star Portable 2 is a decent RPG, but one sorely in need of a genre update. Its online multiplayer is a welcome addition to last year's PSP predecessor, but suffers from the sparse functionality, community the portable is known for. Even Phantasy Star fans will find its story mode, camera angles lacking.- Extreme Gamer

UFC Undisputed 2010 for the PSP is a solid porting of one of our highest rated sports games of the year. Sure, some downgrades have been made like the overall graphic quality and omission in-game commentary, but were it counts, UFC Undisputed 2010 gets it right.- Extreme Gamer

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is fun. Really fun. It's a modern game that feels like it has the soul of a classic.- Extreme Gamer

NHL Slapshot is fun, easy to get into, with just enough depth to keep all those who don't play NHL 11 interested.- Extreme Gamer

Sports Champions as a stand alone game unfortunately has the same fate as the Wii's launch title 'Wii Sports,' it's fun to play for a while and cool to show off the tech to your friends, but it really lacks substance to keep you around in comparison to other sport titles.- Extreme Gamer

When you add all the features up, H.A.W.X. 2 is an improvement over the original, but there is still room to grow.- Extreme Gamer

If you've enjoyed a RTS in the past, or loved the idea of a RTS, but not the complications, then R.U.S.E. is an excellent alternative to the normal WWII strategy game.- Extreme Gamer

It is a lot of fun, optimized for co-op play and geared for the younger audience who might not "get" the darker side of the bat.- Extreme Gamer

Metroid: Other M might not be exactly how you expected the Metroid series to evolve, but by no means does that mean Metroid's new direction of a more story-driven action shooter isn't the way to go.- Extreme Gamer

If you enjoy a good mafia story with some fun characters that will last you 10-14 hours then pick up the game. However, with no multiplayer, and few incentives to replay, the story is all that drives this game from beginning to end.- Extreme Gamer

The single player campaign is one hell of a rat-race that will have you on the edge of your seat, many times in disbelief of what you just seen on the screen. However, no matter how gripping this bloodbath tale becomes you can't dismiss the fact that it is just too short when stacking up to other mainstream action titles.- Extreme Gamer

If you're a Castlevania maniac like me you're going to have an absolute blast playing this game, but my love for the series isn't enough to look past its many shortcomings. As a concept I think it works really well, it just wasn't executed in a way that will make the game accessible to newcomers to the series.- Extreme Gamer
