This game has a lot of potential and with another year of development could have been a great game for someone of any age. What we’re left with is a boring, stale, tedious shell of a game that simply won’t appeal to anyone.

'Metro 2033' will spark the interest of the gamers who are looking for a post-apocalyptic alternative to the blasting agility of 'Borderlands', or the open-endedness of 'Fallout'. 'Metro 2033' might be billed as a FPS; but , it has more in common with survival horror games-- or hybrid horror shooters like 'F.E.A.R.' or 'Condemned.'

'God of War III' is a triumph that lives up to the hefty expectations that the studio set for itself-- and more importantly the expectations of the hardcore crowd who has been waiting on Kratos return.

However, when it was all said and done, I felt completely entertained by the entire ‘Awakening’ package, and happy I made the journey into Amaranthine.

'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' comes armed with a heavy arsenal and some bad attitudes, and delivers another solid shooting experience that will please fans of the original, and dare I say it, the “COD” clan as well.

If you own a Playstation 3 and enjoy Baseball, then you need to purchase 'MLB10: The Show'. This game, like previous editions, is a stand out homerun that will keep players busy all season long.

Compared to the other two DLC offerings for Borderlands, 'The Secret Armory of General Knoxx' is the one I would recommend for anyone who haven't jumped into any of the new content yet. Not only does 'General Knoxx' expand on the ending of the original game, but it offers up a number of new tweaks that work in everyone's favour.

'Greed Corp.' is a very polished, affordable strategy title sporting a clever environment gameplay aspect. Still, its unforgiving difficulty creates a learning curve that will scare even the hardiest away.

Heavy Rain is an experience like no other, and one that will be different for everyone who lethemselves fall into its spellbinding narrative. Quantic Dream has done an amazing job engrossing the player into a deeply felt story that has all the care and production of a feature film.

The production, gameplay, and storytelling mechanics all scream 1997, and 1997 is when ‘Last Rebellion’ should have been released. Compared to the lot of games that have come out on the PS3 as of late, ‘Last Rebellion’ is an embarrassment.

Unless you fit into the hardcore RPG demographic, I would sit this one out. However, If you are part of the demographic, then 'Risen' is a niche game that will entice your adventurers sensibilities-- that is, if you don't mind sitting through a few glitchy spots for the thrill of the hunt.

The whimsical nature of the art, music, and replicating gameplay is not only a refreshing take on platforming/puzzling games, but it's an excellent brain-straining challenge to all those “thinking” gamers who can endure a little trial-and-defeat.

SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 for the PSP is a strong attempt at bringing tactical, multiplayer third person shooting on the road. Poor controls hamper the experience, but its robust package compensate nicely.

Before heading into Bioshock 2, you had to wonder if a sequel was necessary. The original Bioshock was so perfect that fans couldn’t even imagine how '2K Games' would approach a sequel. Well, 2K and its collaborating studios have pulled off a brilliant sequel that holds up to the critical acclaim of the first game.

‘Assault Heroes’ is a solid – if not spectacular – top-down shooter with a new home on PSN. A semi-high price point hampers its value, but still worth a look for fans of the genre…especially in co-op.
