Crystal Rift is the only old-style dungeon crawler on PlayStation 4, and the only one to support virtual reality. It's a great kick-start for a very average game.

Planet Coaster is a hymn to creativity. It is a simulative drug, with the flavor of the old Roller Coaster Tycoon and the beauty of a modern game engine. It's intuitive, satisfying, and allows the player to make very distinctive and unique parks.

Steep is an original game, proud of its own uniqueness. It has many great ideas as well as evident weak spots, but it's a great debut for a new franchise.

The Trail is an interesting alternative to the classic Walking Simulators. Thanks to the introduction of crafting mechanics and social interactions, it manages to stand out from the crowd.

Despite the bumpy and confusing start, the excellent plot -combined with a rather satisfying gameplay and a delightful art style- make Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky a recommended experience for any fan of the genre.

Several years after its first release Toki Tori 2 + is still a great puzzle game. This new version for PlayStation 4 can be a nice opportunity to rediscover a game that surely deserved more consideration.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a brilliant revival of the "hardcore stealth tactical games" formula. The german developer Mimimi Productions overcome the tradition by offering some new features that surely modernizes the original gameplay. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is fun and challenging, with some technical issues.

Just as the huge creature protagonist of his story, The Last Guardian is a unique game, with an unusual and fascinating shape. It is an adventure in some way out of time, which retains a glimmer of distant memories. It is a noble game, yet inexplicably fragile.

Dead Rising 4 marks the end of the series for as we knew it. It is a new starting point for a saga that has decided to abandon any survival elements, transforming itself in a rowdy and light-weighted action game.

Super Mario Maker 3DS is not a hurried porting. The efforts made to ensure the title could have a place in the 3DS line-up are tangible. The single player mode, for instance, is finally interesting and funny. The lack of online, on the other way, deprive the project of a substantial dose of appeal.

Final Fantasy XV is a product that perfectly combines two opposing and irreconcilable souls. On the one hand there is the desire to revive a once great saga, an RPG focuses on the value of exploration, and on the amount of secondary activities and diversions. On the other hand there is a murky "dark side", made of an ineffective and bleak narrative. Considering the number of hours spent in the Lucis kingdom, you can not help but think that this narrative hitch represents after all a small part of the overall game experience.

Guardian of Gotham continues on downward trend of this rickety episodic series. The script is sometimes too hasty, full of omissions, insignificant moral choices and insipid plot twists.

SHENZHEN I/O is both a game and a learning tool. Following the path of an educational game like SpaceChem, is offered for free to schools that request it. It is, however, a complex product, difficult to understand and play, with a very steep difficulty curve.
