Brave, funky and satisfying work, Tekken 7 is the purest expression of what, on the rather lazy front, should be a fighting game.

Friday 13th: The Game could have been a great game with a potentially very interesting concept. Not today, not in this life, not in this dimension of the physical universe. It seems that the development team, without clearly paving the way forward, has given the players a still-tough and developing title.

The story has some small, unparalleled sections, but this does not seem to be enough to overcome the fate of a modest, somewhat impassioned, sometimes monotonous and distant frenzy that has made the brand famous.

The strange mix between the "guybrushian" humor and the tethe of lovecraftian serenity is still pleasantly unusual, a marriage that will certainly capture the attention of fans of graphic adventures, cultists of the myth of Cthulhu and the inhabitants of the Deep.

The explosive offering in this latest DLC will, in short, satisfy all fans of the series and re-energize passion for a long time thanks to a play map run by orange slides and dotted with science fiction acrobatics capable of challenging any law of physics.

The ability to always have a game lasting hundreds and hundreds of hours with a gameplay depth and care that stands out, makes this Complete Edition an indispensable title for Switch owners with an inclination toward strategy.

On the one hand Shadow of Valentia takes us back in time, paying homage to the golden age of JRPG, on the other hand the new gameplay features give a more modern feel to it. Shadow of Valentia is an atypical Fire Emblem that differentiates itself from the franchise in order to give a fresh approach to the genre.

Netherrealm and WB Games pack a new Injustice, and it's more powerful, big and epic then ever. It would have been enough to follow the footsteps of great successes like the latest Mortal Kombat, but it's not like this: Injustice 2 is not a simple re-skin with the characters borrowed from the DC Universe, it's a brand that finally reaches its whole, it's dignity, and now is able to earn a first place in the world of Beat'em up for the general public.

Presented as the first blockbuster for PlayStation VR, Farpoint is an interesting title. The game starts brilliantly, astonishes the player thanks to an unexpectedly pleasing tale, and shows an impressive use of the PlayStation Aim. Being a peculiar combination of an FPS and on-rail shooters, the gameplay works very well, but Farpoint loses its grip in the last part of its adventure. It runs too fast, fails to present original and interesting situations, but also to narrate a strong and convincing ending.

The idea of soulslike ready to approach dystopian science fiction was not only intriguing, but potentially winning. The incipit of The Surge clearly shows a great potential: despite some flows in the combat and growth systems, the game still manages to capture the player, awaken his curiosity. Unfortunately, too much of this potential is lost, due to a bad level design, poorly inspired environments, and a distressing lack of contents.
