Despite the absence of several features from the FES and Portable editions, Persona 3 Reload is a complete and phenomenal game that not only manages to draw you in and entertain you for over 90 hours, but also carries a surprising amount of warmth. The themes discussed in the storyline are often dark, but above all it's a story about friendship and empathy. It's one of those games you have to play.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered is simply the most polished and richest version of one of the best and most influential video games ever. Despite the title, improvements in graphics are rather subtle and it's the gameplay that got a great bonus package. No Return is engaging, Lost Levels are a great gift for fans of the series, and unlocked frames offer more fluid action. It was already a "ten out of ten" game, now only more so.

CD Projekt Red is in excellent form and once again shows how game expansions should be made. Phantom Liberty is in many ways better than the base game. With the core already finished, developers were able to focus on world building, surprising story twists and side quests. Phantom Liberty was a true delight and my only regret is the fact we won't get another expansion. However, it's hard for me to imagine a better farewell for V.

The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece, and in many respects simply the best and most exciting game in recent years. It captivates players with artistic vision, a huge world and an epic story. The developers were not looking for cheap applause - game design is uncompromising, consistent, thoughtful and nuanced.

Nintendo icon is back in glorious style. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is one of the best games in the series and certainly the prettiest 2D Mario ever. Developers surprise with innovation, lovely levels and beautiful childlike imagination.

The very first episode of Game of Thrones was already a positive surprise and the The Lost Lords drags you further in. It's a great piece of content and decent craftsmanship.

The conflict between zombies and plants has lasted for years, but still has its original charm. New classes, costumes and locations are appropriately varied and fun, making Garden Warfare 2 a bloodless and colorful shooter for people of all ages. Accessible to beginners, but sufficiently deep to last for hours.

Overwatch in a nutshell? Satisfaction, competition, excitement and heaps of fun, thanks to extremely refined gameplay. One of the best online shooters available, with plenty of varied characters to choose from and master.

Ori and the Blind Forest is full of charm and beautiful, with captivating adventure and well-polished gameplay.

SteamWorld Heist is one of the biggest surprises of 2015. Pleasant turn-based gameplay is never boring and the humorous aspect is only positive. Most importantly, the fighting system is extremely engaging, even at the very beginning.

Many think that Majora's Mask is the best iteration in The Legend of Zelda franchise. These opinions are certainly not a coincidence, although constant chase after vanishing seconds, repeating the same steps multiple times and one weaker dungeon could be a distraction. The Original Majora's Mask was already excellent, but the new version is simply better.

Severed is a great game, drawing from the classic dungeon crawling adventures, with an interesting gameplay model and unique visuals. Unfortunately, full playthrough is a little bit too short - it's a pity to part with such a good production after seven hours of fun.

Remnant 2 is simply the perfect sequel. It improves the elements that already made the first game great and interesting, while not changing what was best in the original. It is clear that the larger budget not only had a positive impact on the visuals and gameplay improvements, but also allowed the developers to unleash their imagination when it comes to world design. It is currently the best soulslike game not focused on melee weapons.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain impresses at every turn. It's a vast and addictive game that manages to surprise even after many hours. Few minor bugs and repeatability are the only drawbacks. The final Metal Gear from Kojima is definitely worth recommending.

One of the best games for PS VR 2. Red Matter 2 expertly combines puzzles and impressive graphics. All of that together with intuitive controls creates a mix you can't ignore.

Orwell is a fascinating game. Osmotic's title allows you to feel the impact of the stuff we leave behind in the Internet every day. It's a story about a balancing act between freedom and privacy. Orwell's engaging story will drag you in and inspire a cold shudder when you realize the consequences of our actions.

In the light of recent sequels, Dishonored 2 is fresh, creative, and simply enjoyable. It's hard to stop experimenting with new weapons and abilities, which makes it's hard to stop playing, even when the campaign is finished.

Free Lives Games managed to publish a game that seems to be a love child created from Metal Slug and best action movies. Fighting hordes of enemies, challenging boss fights and classic movie jokes are hugely satisfying.

The Old Hunters provides a dozen or so hours of engaging gameplay and an extra dose of grim atmosphere. Exploration of the mysterious world is still a huge pleasure.

Donkey Kong Bananza is a wild ride of destruction that’s hard to resist. It’s absolutely packed with content and turns our gaming habits upside down - and it’s devilishly addictive. I keep telling myself I’ll grab just one more banana and then take a break. But it never stops at just one!

Pro Evolution Soccer is one step closer to perfection. Gameplay in PES 2017 is fantastic and engaging, but many of the elements not directly related to kicking the ball need more attention, especially licenses and interface. Fortunately, Konami is on the right path.
