With BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Arc System Works has worked hard in order to evolve the series with brand new mechanics, new characters and a lot of interesting tools. The lack of a good balance between the characters is the main issue with this fighting game.

Although repetitive after a while, Daylight manages to fulfill the promise of shaking our breath while we cautiously walk in its procedurally-generated corridors. We fear those shadows, we know they’re there, even if we don’t see them.

Gorgeous to look at and satisfying to play, albeit not as deep as a typical JRPG. Child of Light is a good first step, and the formula leaves plenty of room for future improvements.

The Elder Scrolls Online retains most of the elements that made the series famous in a new astounding experience. The transition from offline to online is smooth and the game itself is fun. Unfortunately the monthly fee and lots of bugs partially ruin the experience.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is the very first remake which looks like a brand new game. Its hardcore mechanics are still there along with a good customization, the great visuals of Etrian Odyssey IV, and an entertaining story.

Football Manager Classics 2014 is perfect for mobile devices. The problem is that PS Vita doesn't fit perfectly in this game.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle is a fun and visually stunning fighting game from CyberConnect2. The free-to-play elements are simply wrong for a full price game and its basic gameplay is not enough for fighting games veterans, but if you like the original manga this is a must buy. Hands down.

Praise the Sun: the PC version of Dark Souls II isn't the total mess that its predecessor was. It may not be the prettiest or most graphically advanced game, but it runs stable and smooth at a 1080p resolution with 60 fps, even on a moderately powerful machine. As for the game itself, there's little else to be said: it's still bloody difficult and engaging, a true hardcore masterpiece.

Spate is heavily focused on what it can best deliver: story and atmosphere. A desperate and alcoholic father who's seeking for the truth about the death of his daughter, in the desolate, steampunk location of the Xzone, is the perfect main character for an original and very inspired 2.5D indie platform.

The Director’s Cut of Strike Suit Zero is better than the previous version, but unfortunately some issues like the repetition of the main campaign has not changed and not even a new 5-chapters story can solve the problem. However, the game is fun and sci-fi lovers will probably love to take control of this interstellar war filled with tons of special effect and explosions.

The main problem is that The Hobbit movies aren't the best license to work with. If characters and plot are boring, it's not possible that the game will be enjoyable. Even if TTGames wraps the same solid and brilliant gameplay around the Jackson's movies.

With the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, EA offers the same fresh, new and different first person shooter experience of Xbox One. The lack of a solid Campaign mode and the disappointing number and variety of game modes are a shame, but this is still a very good way to start a new IP.

EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is a good reinterpretation of the classic FIFA Football gameplay. Fast paced and spectacular, the game features new enjoyable game modes and an improved graphics. But the game will not last over the World Cup Final, and three months are too short a time for a full priced game.

Kinect Sports Rivals is a huge improvement of this franchise. The new Kinect sensor is able to perform greatly registering tiny movements, and every match is now a really good experience. If you're looking for a fun party game to play with your friends, this is your best (and only) choice on Xbox One.
