Wheels of Aurelia is an interesting experiment where the gameplay is not the core of the experience. The nice graphics, the soundtrack and the storytelling makes the latest game from Santa Ragione a compelling journey into the Italian history of the late Seventies.

Puzzle Agent 2 is a little step forward in comparison to the pilot episode with a more involving story, better puzzles and a general good atmosphere; only too casual and too short.

A good and solid follow-up, Rearmed 2 adds the "new" ability of jumping and refreshes the swing mechanics of the original remake, but fails in the co-op mode and in other, little but annoying chunks of gameplay.

Despite great visuals and an artistic direction I've personally enjoyed, the game reveals a poor single player campaign and an entertaining multiplayer that, unfortunately, won't probably last more than a week. With more attention to details, this game could have aimed to better results. At the moment is just one of the many 3rd person shooters where you have to cover and fire at the extinguishers.

Because of a substantial lack of innovation, Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team proves to be just another shallow iteration of a brand that seems to have completely lost the right track. If you're looking for a decent beat 'em up to add to your PSP collection, look elsewhere.

Phineas and Ferb is a game perfect for kids, but not perfect in every other way.

Empire of Sin offers strategical depth, managerial challenge and, only occasionally, tactical fun. Lack of boldness in the tactical department, some technical glitches and an amateurish interface, keep this title from becoming a true classic.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy Plus is not a brand new game, but it tries its best adding more fun to the original title, working on the New Nintendo 3DS extra features. The Amiibo addiction is pretty useless, but the new dynamic 3D grants a new layer to this good experience.

The Occupation is definitely flawed (especially on the technical end) but on the other hand is a smart and peculiar little immersive sim with an intricate and thematically delicate plot and a lot of interesting ideas and mechanics.

Dance Evolution is a nice game with a "too-much-japanese" track list that could be a big problem for casual players. Despite this problem, Dance Evolution is quite entertaining, due to a design able to mix up the hardcore Dance Dance Revolution experience with new, interesting mechanics.

Skyhill is the umpteenth post-apocalyptic survival with a horror tone that lands on Steam. This time we’ll try to escape from an hotel infested with beasts mutated by a terrible weapon of mass destruction and it will not be fun.

Dark Energy has proven that determination and commitment do actually pay off. Hydrophobia Prophecy is in fact a great game that deserves attention from both newcomers to the brand and gamers that might have already played the older versions of the game.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a game that requires patience, attention and some trial and error to master its mechanics. It has its flaws and it's not well balanced, but at the end of the day it may provide some nice hours in the English countryside.

The King of Fighters XII deserves to be in stores, specially if you are fan of the series. The only hope for the future is a good number of patch and DLC (with new characters and arenas), to improve the game to reach at least an average level of quality.

Life is Feudal is an extremely grinding-focused survival experience in which you will get as much fun as effort you will put in. Also, the quality of the experience will be proportional to the quality (and quantity) of the people you will play with. This is a complete social experience; no place for loners.

Call of Cthulhu is a game with so many flaws but nevertheless it's a really different kind of RPG, a unique kind of game in which the player really feels like the main character of a compelling lovecraftian tale. If you are an avid fan of the author from Providence this is easily an 8/10 and a must have.

More a hack 'n slash than an RPG, Arcania: Gothic 4 is a game with good graphics and some flaws on the narrative side. The lack of complexity and substance are the primary faults of this title, which is probably not the worst chapter of the saga, but surely not the best.

The Wii version of Michael Jackson: the Experience is much better than the Xbox 360 one. The lag of the Kinect, the presence of the player's avatar on the screen and the poor implementation of the karaoke feature are enough to transform a great experience in something less entertaining.

The Tiny Bang Story has two different souls: one, less convincing, built on the classic "find the object" gameplay; the other one lives on its magic atmosphere and makes the game great to be played.

Pop-Up Pilgrim is a discreet puzzle-game that picks up many mechanics that came from Lemmings. Published exclusively for PlayStation VR, it would work much better on mobile, considering that it makes a questionable use of virtual reality.

The final product fails to do justice to the many good ideas on which Illusion: A Tale of the Mind rests. And there is nothing worse than to feel curiosity about the plot of a game that, alas, bores us. The five hours we took to complete the adventure seemed much longer to us.

Though being visually marvellous, Islands of Wakfu fails to engage and entertain as we hoped. The clunky gameplay mechanics and its slow paced progression will in fact bore most gamers long before the adventure reaches its narrative climax.
