Despite the lack of innovation, The Room Two is a solid puzzle game like its predecessor and another contender for the best mobile game of 2013.

The masterpiece is back with better graphics, real controller support and the same incomparable magic, all in your pocket.

Season One's highlights are long ago, nevertheless "All that remains" is a great debut for Season Two. Clem is a strong character and Telltale hasn't lost its writing skills. But we are waiting for the subsequent episodes to understand if this season can live up to the great expectations everyone has.

NBA Live 14 is one of the worst sports games I played in years. It's incredible that the game shares the same engine with FIFA 14 and Madden 25, because of it's choppy gameplay, poor graphics and the lack of any ideas. 2K can sleep well.

Injustice is a deep fighting game which grants a lot of fun. The combat system is quite different from Mortal Kombat and offers a really good experience. The Story mode is the best ever seen in a fighting game. The PS4 version has 6 more fighters and a lot of good extras.

If you’re looking for another game to squeeze your brand new Xbox One this is not your lucky day. You better search somewhere else.

Mario Party: Island Tour is a pretty decent new addition to the series... if you have friends to play with. Despite the engaging Bowser’s Tower mode, the single-player campaign will soon run out of ideas.

With a fresh prospective on the Arkham universe, Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate is quite a good beginning on PS Vita but not the complex and complete game it could have been.

Just Dance 2014 for Xbox One is another cross-gen title for the new Microsoft hardware. The game is as fun as the other versions out there and Kinect 2.0 does a good job tracking players' moves. For a real jump forward we'll have to wait till the next Just Dance for Xbox One, but if you love this franchise you can enjoy it on this brand new hardware too.

NBA 2K14 is stunning, but in its core has some flaws inherited from the current generation versions. The netcode isn't stable, some game modes are missing and the gameplay isn't as precise as we wished. But still it's a lot of fun and one of the most impressive games of the new generations of consoles.

Powerstar Golf is a pretty decent old school arcade golf experience. The lack of a real online multiplayer mode is fairly balanced by an entertaining and challenging Rivals mode.

Xbox Fitness is a strange hybrid of a video channel and a digital personal trailer which doesn’t seem to fully succeed in neither of its functions. Fun at times, it lacks the complexity of Wii Fit though it fits well in the concept of Xbox One’s “whole-family-entertainemnt”.

Knack is an incredibly generic action/platformer, with poor design, some balance issues and lacking gameplay mechanics. Disappointing, even for a launch title.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is visually stunning and shows how powerful can be the PlayStation 4. The main Campaign Mode has few boring moments but it's a perfect showcase of Sony's new hardware. This is one of the best launch titles to impress your friends with your brand new console.

Bravely Default is one of the best traditional JRPGs and the best new IP from Square Enix in years.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a good action game with an interesting cooperative multiplayer and solid next-gen graphics. The lack of variety of its combat system is Ryse's bigger issue, but if you like action games this could be a nice first step into your next-gen experience.

Forza Motorsport 5 is the best Xbox One game so far. Turn 10 has done a great job improving the already-impressive Forza Motorsport 4. The Drivatar feature works great turning the single player experience into something dynamic and always entertaining. If you love driving games you simply can't miss this one.

Rivals is a good street racer that adrenalizes again the Hot Pursuit brand with ludicrous speed and beautiful landscapes. The 30 FPS limitation on the PC screams revenge nonetheless.

Tearaway is not only one of best games available for PlayStation Vita, but without any doubt one of the best of 2013. Media Molecule delivers once again an outstanding work that everyone should play.

Super Mario 3D World is simply awesome. With this game Miyamoto has changed many elements of both the historical gameplay and level design of Super Mario, crafting a brand new but still nostalgic experience. Rayman Legends is still the best platformer available on Nintendo Wii U, but 3D World is a gorgeous runner up.

Soul Calibur II HD Online is the lovely comeback of the best Soul Calibur game so far, with its well balanced roster and the solid combat system. The Weapon Master mode is still awesome and both the HD graphics and the Online modes are good extra. But the 18.99 euros asked for buying the game is a high price for an HD remake. Too high, actually.

Crimson Dragon is a good game. Funny, sometimes engaging, but it isn't Panzer Dragoon and although sometimes it really gets close, it fails to reach the heights of its predecessor.

Brave Soldiers is a solid game for both the anime and the fighting game lovers. The combat system is easy to grasp and can be mastered even by less technical players. The interesting multiplayer modes and the huge fan service turn this product into something you can look after.

The reboot of Killer Instinct is pure gameplay with a well-crafted combat system. The rock solid 60 fps action is fun as hell for those who will try to master the shiny gameplay. Sadly, the lack of content is a big issue and six characters are simply not enough.

The Xbox One episode of Zoo Tycoon has both the strategic elements of the PC games and the cool direct interaction granted by the new Kinect hardware. If you're looking for a deep single player and multiplayer experience with gorgeous looking animal 3D models, this is the game for you.

Dead Rising 3 is a fun but uninventive sequel that adds little to its predecessors' formula and certainly doesn't represent a true “next-gen” experience. Maybe it's time for Capcom to let the dead rest in peace, at least for a while.

Contrast is a nice puzzle game with an amazing art direction but not so amazing gameplay. The dualism between light and darkness is nice, as the setting, a noir grotesque version of the ‘20s, but the game itself lacks on the technical side, and, after a while, even the puzzles become boring.

LEGO Marvel is probably the best LEGO game to date. Nothing has changed since the first title, but the latest chapter of the series is packed with dozen of hours of gameplay, collectibles and humor for all the family.

Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf it’s the perfect tribute to the gamebooks era. The story is compelling and full of different paths, the combat is fun and the “old book” aspect is very nice. A must have games for the 30-something and the RPG lovers.

Enter the Dominatrix is a DLC for Saints Row IV that we can recommend only to diehard fans of the series: so focused onto silly dialogues and situations to the point of overlook almost completely the quality of the gameplay.

Enemy Within adds more variety to a game that still shines months after. Some problems are where we remember them, but Enemy Within is a good excuse to replay the game or buy it if you didn't.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is less interesting than the previous games of this franchise released for Nintendo Wii. The lack of gameplay features designed around the Wii U GamePad is a big mistake from SEGA's developers. If you're looking for a good party game for Nintendo Wii U just buy the more interesting Wii Party U and have fun.

Goodbye Deponia has a bumpy ride towards the ending, but is able to entertain nonetheless. It won't pose the hardest challenge around, but will keep you smiling while going forward and at times it will even make you laugh really hard.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a huge step backward for this popular franchise. After the great Campaign Mode in Black Ops II, the simple 5-hour long Campaign of Ghosts is a shame. The Extinction mode alone could sell the game, but the overall competitive multiplayer experience isn't as good as the one we loved in the last episode from Treyarch.

Girl Fight is simply one of the worst fighting games out there. In a world where you can buy Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown with just a few euros, nobody should ever think about downloading this crappy clone of Tecmo's Dead or Alive.

Warface, the first experience of Crytek in the free-to-play field, is a very nice competitive online FPS, with a lot of well-known game modes and fast gameplay. The visuals are pure Crytek quality, and even if it’s not an original game, it surely deserves a deep look.

No evidence of the 2K effect can be spotted playing WWE 2K14. Yuke's has tried to change something for both graphics and gameplay but the final result is a clumsy and hardly balanced experience. Just wait for WWE 2K15.

With WRC 4, Milestone has taken a big step forward. Both the graphics and the physics are much better here than in WRC 3 and the new Career Mode is good enough to entertain both expert and beginner players.

For PCs and next-gen consoles, Battlefield 4 is one of the greatest online shooters to date. Maps are huge, Levolution changes their feelings during the battle and Obliteration is a great new game mode. Having 64 players and 60 fps on console is a huge step forward that helps forgetting an unremarkable story mode.

As for the the next-gen and PC versions, we expected better graphics. And some of the same old gameplay problems are still there. Nonetheless, Black Flag is one of the greatest entries in the Assassin's Creed brand.

Playing Just Dance without sharing the same room with other players is simply sad. The On-Stage mode is funny enough and using the Wii U GamePad to record funny videos of other players playing the game is truly addictive. If you love this franchise, you know what you're going to buy.

If Hot Wheels: World’s Best Driver would have been presented to gamers as a free ride, probably we would have not bothered to review it. But since it comes with a hefty price tag attached we were morally forced to sacrifice some of our playtime to tell you to stay far from this game.

A good strategic RPG, with some pretty ideas, but it lacks a clear interface and some design choices undermine the final result.

Beyond: Two Souls is the natural evolution of Heavy Rain, an epic adventure game with a great script, awesome dialogue and rock solid characters. Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe have done a splendid job acting for this game and David Cage has created an excellent title adding cool gameplay features to the Heavy Rain experience.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs it’s another good horror game that can offer you some serious goosegumps and a very nice story. Unfortunately it’s also pretty linear and it lacks in terms of gameplay.

Outlast is able to create true terror in the player, but it falls a bit short in gearing up that feeling when scary things really happen.

Too weak in its gameplay to be considered a proper videogame, Rain is just (and only) a wonderful story that could have been an unforgettable title.

Only the next generation of consoles will give Codemasters the chance to overcome the technical issues of the last four F1 games. Anyway, this 2013 version is a good improvement over the 2012 entry that can provide F1 fans with endless hours of racing fun.

Lone Survivor once again proves that sometimes you don’t need a multi-million dollar budget and Hollywood-style special effects to make a great survival horror game.

Rayman Legends is a masterpiece on every platform, and the PS Vita version is no exception. Nevertheless the game suffer from minor bugs such as a worst graphical definition and the lack, for now, of some levels. This is also the only other version featuring touch controls which makes this, in terms of gameplay, the closest experience to the WiiU version.

The 3DS version of Inazuma Eleven 3 is finally available in the European market. Despite of the good overall experience, the lack of new major gameplay features and the absence of the online multiplayer are enough to turn this Level 5 game into a “simply good” jrpg.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is not a game, it’s a manual about what you have to do when you fail. From the ashes of an embarrassing game, here we have a truly well-crafted MMO. Well Done Square Enix.

NBA 2K14 is the best NBA game to date, thanks to a smooth gameplay, both in defense and in offense, and lots of great game modes. Our only hope is that Euroleague next year will be more integrated in the game.

Armored Core: Verdict Day is closer to a big add-on than to a brand new game. The core game is the same as Armored Core V with more maps, more parts to customize your mech with and new modes. If you loved Armored Core V you'll like this one too.
