Modern Warfare II is not as courageous as the previous one nor as revolutionary but it is still a fun, galvanizing and filled in content war FPS, enriched by a technical realization of absolute value.

God of War: Ragnarök is a modern epic poem, a great tale of change, a crucible full of content. It requires the user to understand - and above all choose whether to welcome - the creative ambition of the authors: powerful in the message, bittersweet in the story, undoubtedly distant from the historical soul of the God of War “video game”, but undeniably majestic. To date, there is no video game that can boast action sequences of the same quality as those that emerged in God of War: Ragnarök, just as there is no title that can count on the same staging.

PGA Tour 2K23 evolved from the last entry in multiple ways. The three-click swing adds another layer of playability, My Career is better than the previous one and the Top Golf mode is a fun multiplayer variation. There's still room for improvement and we can't wait to see the game against the upcoming EA's rivalry.

Bayonetta 3 achieves excellence on the gameplay side, with new gameplay mechanics and a spectacular sequence of over-the-edge scenarios. Unfortunately, this beautiful stylish-action game also enhances the limits of Nintendo Switch hardware, but remains one of the 2022 “must-have games” on the platform.

Victoria 3 returns in all its glory and does not tune down its difficulty level. It's not a game for all, but once mastered it shows a depth that only a few other titles can boast.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves finally arrives on PC in excellent shape, though not so excellent to hide its wrinkles.

Its richness in contents, its innovation in mechanics and excellent art style and soundtrack are what make Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope a game that challenges Japanese Nintendo productions. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the best Nintendo Switch release in 2022, capable to surprise with its novelties and to meet the expectations of hardcore players.

Crema's ambitious MMO has clear ideas and manages to engage without too much difficulty.

This is not the usual Shovel Knight you'd expect. Yacht Club Games and Nitrome managed to throw the popular hero in an unusual situation that will entertain and challenge new players but also seasoned ones.

You Suck At Parking is a game like no others, one of those easy to learn and (really) hard to master. No real racing, just a straightforward set of inventive challenges in which you have to... park your car as quickly and accurate as possible.

Grounded is a great little adventure capable of entertaining for many hours, as long as you don't suffer from arachnophobia. The whole crafting and survival structure works, a little less the limited combat system, but the general experience manages to give truly unique moments.

Takayuki Yagami and his assistant Kato look even better on a PC porting that promises tens of hours of investigations, fightings and mysteries. But aside from higher graphic detail, it's the same game we reviewed last year, hence the same score.

The Legend of Heroes:Trails From Zero comes to the west for the first time since its original release on the PSP in 2010. A great remaster work covers textures, sprites, aspect ratio, frame-rate pop-in and obviously resolution. The game is smooth to play and gameplay aids help users to bypass long dialogues and accelerate battle encounters. A deep crafting system and a great story make this classic still enjoyable nowadays.

Soulstice finally brings a bit of Italy into the realm of hack 'n' slash, fully succeeding thanks to the excellent characterization of the game world and a layered and satisfying gameplay. Too bad for some problems with the room and an artistic sector not always up to par. It looks like one of the best surprises of the year.

NORCO is hauntingly beautiful. A surreal tale that is dystopic and futuristic but at the same time extremely rooted in the hopeless and sad reality of the suburban industrial areas of USA. A sort of a great acid trip that we won't soon forget.

Metal Hellsinger is a rhythmic FPS that has its roots in the typical imagery of heavy metal to offer players an adrenaline-pumping, fun and exciting experience. The soundtrack, composed by internationally renowned metal artists is the spearhead of the package and will remain stuck under your skin for weeks after playing the game.

Splatoon 3 is the culmination of Nintendo's experience with its squid-and-ink third-person shooter series. Fun, rich in content and graced by a bewitching technical appearance, the third installment of the series is a must have for fans but also an excellent entry point for newbies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a generous package full of nostalgia, Thirteen games from the Arcade, 8-16 bit and Game Boy eras and tons of gaming options, cheats and extras.

Brave but decidedly fascinating, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist is certainly not a title suitable for all palates, but which manages to transpose all the original elements of the classic role-playing games onto the screen in a truly convincing way. Featuring mature and by no means trivial themes, as well as an emotionally powerful soundtrack, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist can also count on a high replay value.

Did we really need it? Nope. Is it too expensive? Yes, it is. But who cares, it's a game of eternal beauty, and after this graphic overhaul it still wins against the majority of "new" triple A games on the market. Hands down.

Tinykin is a very simple game and this is its strong point. Intuitive and fun, the new Splashteams’ title is one of the most successful platformers in the recent times.

Sam Barlow builds a fascinating puzzle mixing game design and cinema by weaving a unique, complex storytelling that deeply explores Marissa Marcel’s life. A mind blowing experience.

Midnight Fight Express is a good-looking beat em up that draws heavily on classic action and hardboiled movies to create a far deeper fighting experience than expected. If you are craving a direct, challenging and full of possibilities action game, look no further.

Rollerdrome is a candidate as one of the best surprises of the year, a frenetic game full of style and personality. Above all, it encourages us to play and improve ourselves. Rollerdrome Is a full-blown stylish-TPS with a truly endless potential.
