One of the best-looking GBA games to come along in some time, and definitely a great addition to the legacy of both Mario and Donkey Kong.

For fans of the Transformers license, this game has lots of cool extras to help disguise the fact that it’s really just an average action game.

Red Dead Revolver could very well be THE game to keep the Old West genre from riding off into the sunset once and for all.

City Of Heroes is a breath of fresh air, and a hell of a lot of fun to play. By building on this initial framework, COH has the potential to grow by leaps and bounds.

The track designs in Double Dash are positively bursting with activity. If you thought Mario Kart was intense on the N64 (with it's notoriously cheap catch-up AI-which I'm happy to report is noticeably absent this time), you ain't seen nothing yet!

Featuring some of the most elaborate and astonishing art work and animation the videogame industry has ever seen, POP definitively raises the bar on visual presentation. I have never seen more detailed and engaging art on the PlayStation 2.

It’s too bad that the gifts this game offers--and there are quite a few--are mired in repetitious, humdrum gameplay routines.

A pure celebration of the movies that inspired it. It is a terrific action game with a degree of depth and a great collection of surprises to collect. The game is also peerless in the presentation department and you can play it with a friend.

Call of Duty can be summed up in one word. Intense. Yes, lots of shooters have provided many, many hours of intense situations before but none, including crowded games like "Battlefield 1942," have ever made me feel the insignificance and fear a soldier must feel while watching the slaughter of hundreds of his countrymen.

I was hooked on the gameplay and the story of Jak II almost immediately and my addiction and love of the game hasn’t subsided weeks later. Jak II is, without question, one of the finest gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

A good one all around, getting as much gameplay in to the tiny little cartridge as it can. I even find it got the difficulty about right--not too had, not too easy.

Thanks to the expanded multiplayer, I have no trouble calling the Xbox version of The Clone Wars the best of the bunch.

Fans of Wolverine will love the story, which delves heavily into the character's history with references to Department H and Weapon X aplenty.

I don't listen to rap music and I know very little about it, but I am enthralled by this game's easy control; wild over-the-top moves; and enjoyable story mode.

It has a strong graphical kick, enough weapons to outfit a nutso right-wing militia group, and a solid multiplayer package. Just make sure you get the patch.

Just imagine what it could've been like if Capcom had put some effort into it.

The game's biggest problem though is its paltry length... In the end, CSI is lots of fun for fans of the TV show, and is a decent adventure game in its own right.

In the end, the word of the day is "detail." Restaurant Empire has it to spare, incorporating design, bean-counting, empire-building, and plenty of customization into its gameplay. And yet, it's not that tricky to learn.

I would not call Primal an innovative title, but it has lots to do and TONS of different powers, which the game doles out just about when you start wanting something new.

The style of the graphics however, does not appeal to me, technologically impressive though they are. It's the same way I don't like jazz music, but I know there is good and bad jazz, and that it requires talented musicians to perform it, but the genre of music just doesn't do it for me.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it quite the revolution it could have been, but it comes close. And in the world of action/stealth/strategy games, the series still has no equal.

I must say the game's emotional impact is undeniable, and it kept me filled with terror every time I turned on my PS2... Oh, and something else. This game has the most appallingly violent cutscenes you will ever see.

While the load times are not outrageously long, they do pile up, especially when there is a palatable pause just between flipping to the options screen!

Ubi Soft gives their mascot the star treatment and it pays off in a game that captures the real fun of platform hopping, environmental puzzle solving, and boss character combat. Rayman 3 is a treat.

Such a detailed game it really feels like a PC game first, console second. However, don't panic. It's still played with a gamepad and played well I might add.

But what made me put down the Dualshock in frustration is control... Base running is the primary offender... It's just too confusing and counterintuitive, especially if you're brave enough to try returning to bases.

If only more could have been done with the online, and that control smoothed out.

Repetitive missions are a strike against it, but the real damage is done by the annoying auto-aim and the slow to respond control.
