If you're looking for a shooter on the Xbox, there are countless others that are more involving than this one. The gameplay in Painkillers: Hell Wars has been out of style for a decade.

Prey falls short of revolutionary by becoming a victim not only of time, but its own success. By not following through on the promise of a couple of very new and interesting gameplay mechanisms, the developers have delivered only part of the game that was possible.

It looks nice, and the plot is well developed, but they seem to forget games have to be fun to play.

Generic and poorly executed, there is absolutely no reason for you to buy this. In fact if anyone ever gives this to you as a gift, they might hate you.

Ultimately, it's ony worthwhile for those that don't have a decent gaming PC.

If you loved the movies, you'll enjoy the game. The game itself won't do much to endear itself to people looking for solid gameplay.

Really, aside from the nice-looking replays, this game could have been made on a Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo without too much loss in game play.

If you want a youth-friendly racer, you may be better off looking at the recent "Cars" videogame.
