Over the Hedge is a game that doesn’t add anything new to its genre or to the movie it came from originally, but makes for a decent tie-in.

It's almost a no-brainer that kids who enjoy the movie will enjoy the game. It does a great job capturing the feel and the look.

This one has a better story that makes playing through it worth the time investment.

Your kids will love it, and even older gamers can find something to enjoy in the lighthearted stealth gameplay.

As shooters go, Ghost Recon is one of the best. Bettered possibly only by "Half-Life 2," this is one for the collection.

Enjoyable, but at times frustrating. I recommend it for those who enjoy adventure games, but caution those who are new to the genre. Be prepared to think.

Top Gun is far from perfect, but it’s a solid first entry into the genre on the DS, and should more than satisfy DS owners waiting in heavy anticipation for games like Star Fox DS, DS Air and Freedom Wings.

All in all, Dr. Sudoku is a fair to decent portable version of sudoku, albeit the game has some moderate faults in the presentation and some other annoyances here and there. If you're a fan of sudoku, you'll probably get your money's worth out of this game.

Shadowgrounds is a pure top-down shooter that just doesn’t seem to come together to achieve the effects it was going for. Spooky games are spookier in first-person than they are top-down, so Shadowgrounds isn’t spooky.

Worth a rental for those in need of an action fix or someone with a short attention span.

It pulls off the arcade feel with half the calories, good for a rent for the casual gamer. Great for those with little time to dump into a title.

The bottom line, however, is how much enjoyment will be gained by picking up OutRun 2: Coast 2 Coast – and it's a lot. Those that find the Project Gotham or Gran Turismo franchises a bit intimidating have a game to pick up and play for a long time.

If you haven’t picked up one of the Godzilla games, or War of the Monsters then pick those titles up first. They can be found for the same price if not less, and have much of the basics that this title does.

A worthy expansion to the game and admit it, you want to cast Lava in your town. I know you do.

For $20, getting this Rampage title with its two predecessors is a pretty good deal, so long as you don't mind the shallow, repetitive gameplay.

Only for the hardcore of racing fans or if you find it for $10. At least then you won’t feel completely cheated.

Only those obsessed with SNK games, or 2D fighters in general, will be interested.

For DS owners that haven’t played Brain Age yet, it may be hard to understand what the hype is about. Let me give you a word of advice – take your DS to one of those demo download kiosks Nintendo has in game stores, or find a friend with a copy of the game and download a demo from them. Only after trying it will you have an idea just how fun this title is.

It’s a refreshing change of direction for the series, and the biggest makeover I’ve ever seen a series undergo without jumping up to a next-generation platform. Well done!
