The whole “two hands” thing may have been a good idea, but it’s poorly executed, as with the rest of the Wii controls. As for the rest of the game, it fails to make a significant improvement over Spider-Man 2.

Even with omitting online multiplayer, the game still packs in a lot of gameplay across a lengthy single player career mode and Ad-hoc racing.

This game is a damn, dirty tease. No one will buy it for the volleyball and the jetskis. No one will buy it because they want a good casino game or a dating sim. This game’s target audience is people that want wank material. And in that respect, it doesn’t even qualify as softcore porn.

With some better minigames, and a structure that did more to encourage players to progress, this could have been a spectacular sim. But the minigames don’t tie in well with the rest of the game, and they’re so few in number that you’ll get bored far too quickly to appreciate the game’s many beautiful character models for the various animals.

The combat engine, once you experiment around enough to figure it out, isn’t that bad; what is bad is that you’re typically alone and grossly outnumbered.

Transformers seems like it was built by a machine to a factory spec – all the parts are here that should, in theory, form an outstanding game. But it’s like no human actually gave it a test-drive to see if it was actually fun.

Jaws Unleashed is a rather scant offering, but it could still be your new guilty pleasure. The field of shark simulators is rather narrow, and it’s entirely possible that Jaws Unleashed wins top honors just by showing up. Perfect for kicking back and turning your brain off, but not much more.

Gangs of London would get wasted in the opening cinema of any Grand Theft Auto game. Although it strives to be all things to all gamers, it comes off as little more than a sad mess of something half-digested, in the final analysis.

It pulls off the arcade feel with half the calories, good for a rent for the casual gamer. Great for those with little time to dump into a title.

This is essentially just a side quest in the series, and it feels like it cannot stand on its own. There needs to be much more polish on a game than developers put in.

In the end this will end up in the bargain bin before the next season hit television. Not all licensed game suck, but Avatar certainly lives up to the stereotype.

This franchise is quickly heading for the bottom. This is one of the few second installment to expand on the original in more than just character selection. Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is for serious fans only.

Even if you love the Ford license, this game will just be a waste of not only your money, but your time as well.

Even the target audience has games in the same genre that are more well defined. While these may entertain, after one or two levels you realize that there is nothing new coming.

If you haven’t picked up one of the Godzilla games, or War of the Monsters then pick those titles up first. They can be found for the same price if not less, and have much of the basics that this title does.

If you loved the movies, you'll enjoy the game. The game itself won't do much to endear itself to people looking for solid gameplay.

A sub par game that missed its potential. There could be more to this title, but developers rushed the title to the door. While this game is bound for the bargain bin, it does have some qualities that make it worth checking out when the price drops.

It just doesn't manage to appeal to either the hardcore sports gamer, but fans of And 1 will get a kick out of playing with their favorite stars. Anyone else might be better off holding out for a better game.

Why Hudson Soft and Konami decided to make a sequel to Rengoku is puzzling. Why they decided to make it just like the original, albeit a little better, is mind-boggling.
