Each episode so far has had its good parts and bad parts- but each time, it's something different. It's been inconsistent, and I don't think it can keep my interest if it doesn't settle down and find a groove for itself. The lack of focus on Lee/Clementine is only forgiven because of the extra focus on a good story twist at the end- but I really hope they find a balance in the future, which would truly make the game compelling on a level that Telltale hasn't done before. As of now, it still feels like a work in progress.

Halo Wars 2 is not without its flaws. It doesn't have the depth of other RTS's, but it does control surprisingly well and multiplayer options are abundant. There may not be much lasting appeal for hardcore players, but it is certainly fun in the moment, especially for console players that aren't too familiar with the genre.

Rainbow Six: Siege delivers on what it promised to be: a well-made, multiplayer-focused, team shooter. To criticize it for not having a stronger single player experience is accusing it of a pretense it never made, and consumers will decide whether the product has broad enough appeal to warrant its price.

But just be prepared for some frustrating controls and a somewhat unforgiving camera.

There is no denying that even with its flaws, All-Pro Football 2K8 is a good solid football title that has some really interesting concepts.

EA finally does some justice to the Batman license with this decent if not unspectacular action title that ends up far too linear and repetitive for its own good.

Keeping your station running isn't easy, especially as more and more needs build up, but doing it over and over can get a bit repetitive. None of this gets in the way of the core gameplay here being very solid and addicting in the way that the best simulation titles are. I had a good time with STATIONflow and if you're into simulation games, I think you will, too. I just wish that a lack of variety and a few less than intuitive gameplay choices didn't keep it from being something truly special.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 is a somewhat uneven sequel. On one hand, its new playable characters create some of the most ingenious stretches of retro platforming in recent memory. The myriad abilities at your disposal create an open-ended experience, and dismantling tricky challenges with your broad toolset is one of the game's greatest pleasures. But difficulty spikes and a few sequences that clash with the game's fixed trajectory jumps can make some stretches feel a little tedious. At its best, the game synthesizes the appeal of NES platformers with great boss fights and simple but nuanced systems. At its worst, it emulates the frustrating elements of games from this era with a little too much accuracy.

If you're into strategy games, chances are you've come across these cute but dangerous worms. Decent choice for those wanting to game on the go.

The game might have inherited the movie's convoluted mess, but it is a somewhat decent adventure title, albeit marred by a frustrating control.

Resogun is great for spontaneous, quick play. Anything longer than that starts to give me a headache.

An average shooter through and through. The gameplay is average and so are the graphics. There isn't anything new or exciting happening in this game, but mostly things we have seen done better in other titles.

With Sparkle Unleashed, what you see is what you get. This is the sort of video game that is a nice way to spend a moment or two waiting for the bus or taking a break from another game. Taken in small doses, the game has a lot of charm that’s bolstered by lovely, colorful graphics and a better than average soundtrack. It’s an uncomplicated piece of software that doubles down on simple and addictive gameplay.

Rocket Arena’s retro rocket romanticism aesthetics, playful music and cute and fun characters (super-freckled Rev being my favorite!) go a long way to make it easily approachable. However, despite the four main game modes, the nature of the gameplay feels limited. It’s easy to play and fun in short bursts, but that’s just it; in short bursts. Quite literally, too, as matches are over very quickly. I can’t imagine the game having the same lasting appeal as something like Overwatch with players devoting a long-term commitment to it. There’s a solid roadmap for the game with seasonal events, new free characters, and maps by each ranked season and cosmetics to be bought either with in-game currency or real money but I’m afraid it’s not enough. The game may grow outside but inside, the limited gameplay might prove too repetitive in the long run.

The seventh iteration crams even more mini-games than you care to count, but sadly shies away from offering something truly innovative for loyal Mario fans.

In Tsioque, solving the puzzles unlocks the story but the puzzles don’t really add much to the tale (which takes a somewhat abrupt change of direction near the end). For much of its length, the slightly post-modern fairy tale isn’t all that engaging, either, or at least not as engaging as the characters and visuals. I wish the developers had voiced their heroine and made the puzzles not just satisfying to solve but a satisfying part of the narrative.

MySims is not a great game, but it does enough right to earn a good rating. I would say this is the type of game that if you're bored one weekend looking for a game for your Wii, then MySims is a game that can take up a lot of your time and make for an enjoyable experience.

One of the more impressive children's movie to be made into a game because of how well the game plays, and not how deep nor how well it looks.

The unique blend of genres works pretty well both in single player and multiplayer modes, and Hell Warders offers a decent campaign and a deeper strategy experience than some generic tower defense games. Some of the controls are awkward and placement of units have some restrictions (like degrees of facing), but there aren’t a lot of tower defense games rooted in that dark fantasy aesthetic, and the addition of action-RPG elements deepens the gameplay.

In the end, Nights of Azure 2 has a lot of things going for it. The game is easy to pick up and play and, for the most part, it's mindless fun accentuated by allies and pets helping you out on every step of the way. Graphics can be quite picturesque at times and the soundtrack is quite good on top of that. On the other hand, this game is just... so very repetitive, forcing you to revisit the same half-dozen areas over and over again without anything new to look forward to. This makes the game a mixed bag overall, but if you're looking for a solid hack-and-slash with plenty of T&A thrown in (and you don't mind the repetition), this may be just the game for you.

Super Mario Party’s core Party mode and excellent minigames are the true Super Stars in this package. However, they’re diluted by the extra modes. While some are genuinely creative and engaging, such as the team-based Partner Party and the fully cooperative River Survival, others feel like afterthoughts. Everything included can still be hilarious fun with a good group of friends, but a sharper focus on the classic board game/minigame combo and an increased online presence would have enhanced its longevity. As it is now, Super Mario Party may not be the life of the party, but it’s a solid step in the right direction for this long-running series.

One of the downsides that I thought took away from the game was the lack of a story in the game. So you really never get that connection in the game that really makes you want to go all the way through the game.

Overall SteamWorld Dig has a lot of potential for some fun. Unfortunately, due to the tedium of going to and from the town to make money just isn’t for me. It’s a very well built game though, so if you like grinding, or if it doesn’t bother you, you like can’t go wrong with SteamWorld Dig. However, if you’re like me and tedious tasks tend to gnaw at your attention very quickly maybe give this one a pass and try Spelunky instead.

Echoes of the Fey: The Fox’s Trail was an enjoyable surprise. I wasn’t expecting the sheer amount of ending variations and deep themes that unfolded within this three-hour mystery. I appreciated that despite this being the first episode, it was a complete tale. Woodsy Studios has proven the worth of the intriguing fantasy world of Oraz, and hopefully, they can continue to improve in developing the second part of this magical tale.
