Battling zombies should be an exciting and frightening experience, but instead turns into a farce with laughable AI and linear gameplay.- DarkStation

Jumbled, infuriating, and unfinished are a few choice adjectives I can attribute to Doug Hates His Job. The panoply of gameplay styles it wants to flex should be treated as a canary in the coal mine for other young developers. The mockumentary approach makes its dull humor more of a mockery than of the white-collar job climate it’s lampooning. As a result, Super Villain Games succeeded in helping me relate to Doug's plight in one crucial way: hating my reviewing job — if only for a short time.- DarkStation

Where The Bees Make Honey has some interesting ideas with presentation and puzzles. However, the persistent high level of frustration I felt with trying to navigate the majority of the adventure because of issues out of my control completely overshadowed any of the good stuff.- DarkStation

Don't be fooled with this brawler's budget pricetag, as its attrocious camera angle, repetitive gameplay and dated visuals makes it a complete waste of your money.- DarkStation

I won’t lie to you, I am trying to be positive, and I want people to enjoy this game. ARK: Survival Evolved is a solid survival adventure with unique mechanics, an intriguing mystery and lore, and plenty of years of development in its past to show for it. However, there are just too many issues on the Switch version right now to enjoy it to its fullest, making it near unplayable for many, and I really hope that changes as we move forward.- DarkStation

Game Party 2 is not a game I could ever recommend for any Wii owner and is just another horrible mini-game style arcade game that relies solely on the Wii remote to make it fun.- DarkStation

So, Road Rage is crap. It’s not broken as it’s still somewhat playable, despite its all rage-inducing qualities. It just feels like there’s no effort put into it anywhere. Except for the music. The soundtrack is quite good and trashy, though I’m sure I have heard some of it before. Anyway, if any effort was put to the rest of the game, we could at least have an okay biker action at hands. As it is though, Road Rage can only be recommended for the collectors of really bad games. I know you are out there! Everyone else, steer clear!- DarkStation

There might be an honest-to-goodness game somewhere in here, lurking underneath the slew of technical issues, uninspired gameplay, game-breaking mechanics and cryptic explanations for how everything fits together. Not that the game would have fit together in the first place, anyway. Whatever may be underneath the game, it’s really not worth the trouble of finding out.- DarkStation

Whatever its reason for existing, if the purpose of Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta – Episode 1 was to do anything besides provide a terrible game, it missed the mark completely.- DarkStation

Wasteland Angel won't blow anyone away and you'll likely just feel like you're just going through the motions on an autopilot and never really engaged in all the action and chaos that ensues. Its few flashes of fun are derived only from the frantic pace and the neat special weapons, but it's all bogged down a general lack of variety and it's over before you know it, resulting in a game that's average at best.- DarkStation

If you're still hankering for some old school adventure game action, then you could do worse than Tomb Of The Lost Queen. It's hardly the most polished, most attractive title out there but it doesn't make any grave missteps and just about kept me engaged enough to see it through to its conclusion.- DarkStation

I did enjoy Squids and people should definitely check it out, but I don't think I can recommend that players purchase Squids on the PC. The pacing and length seem far more suited to its $2 app price tag rather than the $7 PC version. Still if you are like me and don't have an iOS or Android device, it's worth considering dropping some cash on this charming action RPG.- DarkStation

While I enjoyed some stents with the game, its monotonous design would be more at home on a portable device given that play sessions would be shorter. That said, Loc is a completely serviceable puzzle game that lacks engagement.- DarkStation

It's a shame that developers put a lot of time into their games and they turn out this way. I never believe that anyone is out to make a bad game but unfortunately Deep Black is just a bad game.- DarkStation

Although it gets bogged down by some discomforting technical issues, Train Simulator 2013 is a game will appeal to a small but hungry niche gamers and hardcore trainspotters. The game offers hours of simulated railroading fun out of the box and the added Steam Workshop support means there's always something new to do.- DarkStation

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD might be worth a look if you were really into the series in its prime and want to experience a cleaned-up version of a distinct, defining moment in video games. For casual fans or new recruits, though, there's nothing in this high-def remix that will speak to them. And even the biggest of fans may feel mighty hollow by the shaky treatment of the once king of extreme sports games.- DarkStation

With nothing to keep me involved, grid battles, while functionally sound and by themselves at least slightly engrossing, became just simple back and forths, with nothing at stake and no real reason to care.- DarkStation

Given that this is the 27th title in the Nancy Drew video game franchise, it was easy to see why these games keep getting made. While I believe that the next incarnations should take some hints from some of the new school, the old school feel of The Deadly Device was refreshing. It won't be challenging The Walking Dead for depth of character, but there is a lot to like in Nancy Drew: The Deadly Device.- DarkStation

Succeeding in everything it sets out to do, and coming in at a very respectable $9.99 price point, Drip Drip is an excellent diversion, especially if you need a break from the heavy video game drops this holiday season has given us. With room for some updates in the future, there is much to enjoy in this slightly damp package.- DarkStation

Civil War is a very serious table set against the back drop of a very serious story. While not as fun, per say, as the rest of the offerings Zen Studios has made in their Marvel line, those looking for a challenge will no doubt find it and more among it's bumpers, ramps, and paddles. While not the best Zen has put out, it's still worth the $2.99 asking price for a chance to explore this comic story line.- DarkStation

The price tag is a bit of a bummer, but there is no way to get this experience cheaper, because there is no other game like it. If you are interested, but not sure if you are going to like it, then there is a good demo on the website that is representative of what is in the game. It is worth a look.- DarkStation

So, is Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock worth it? If you are a big fan of the series, then you should get some enjoyment out of getting to be The Doctor. If, however, you aren’t much of a fan, you probably won’t find this game’s mechanics and minigames to be worth your time. It is a competent effort, but not a great one.- DarkStation

There’s still some fun to be had in each game and the price is very low, but the ability to brute force you’re way through each one with unlimited continues means that only those who enjoy chasing their friends on leaderboards should purchase this first collection.- DarkStation

For someone interested in the science behind things like perception and emotion, it could be a useful tool, if you are willing to dig into the provided library and spend time putting those words into action. For most though, it’s worth a look about as much as those huge birthday predictor omnibuses seen on the shelf of your local Barnes and Noble. It’s fun to flip through, but not nearly entertaining or worthwhile enough to buy.- DarkStation
