Dawn of War II is an easy recommendation for me to make it is one of the best PC games in recent year.

If you are a fan of the series, or are looking to get into fighting games, Street Fighter IV is one of the best we have seen in many, many years.

If you own GTAIV for the Xbox 360 you would be crazy not to go on Xbox Live and buy this game.

Although I would have liked to have seen a longer experience, if your in the market for new and unique experience look no further then Flower.

I have to say that my overall feelings on F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin was that of a really solid experience.

If you enjoyed the first, or are interested in getting into the series, then I would highly recommend checking this game out. Plus you can’t beat the $20 price point, that is some serious bang for your buck.

NASCAR Kart Racing is still a very well polished and nicely developed Kart Racer that may not be the best the Wii has seen but is enjoyable nonetheless.

There is no doubt that 3 on 3 NHL Arcade is missing some key features like a Season or Tournament mode, it needed something. Lucky for the guys and gals over at EA, 3 on 3 NHL Arcade works from top to bottom giving a really great arcade hockey experience.

I was expecting a tower defense game because that is how it was described, but it was almost certainly more of an RTS that just focuses on the construction small towers. Some people could find fun in this game, but sadly I didn’t enjoy my time with Savage Moon too much or too often.

You have to give the game credit it looks great, but that in my book doesn’t come close to making a great game. What started out great ended up being rather disappointing. For those who like Afro Samurai and are interested in the game it may be a safer option to rent this.

Skate 2 is without a doubt the best skateboarding game out on the market today and I would highly recommend picking this game.

When it is all said and done LOTR: Conquest is a good game that fans of the series will enjoy.

Mirrors Edge is an intense and intensely enjoyable experience from top to bottom that manages to capture a very interesting gameplay element and perfect it.

Crash Commando is just the game PSN needed. A crazy, addicting, and fun little game that will tide us over until the next wave of games hit the store.

Buccaneer is a fun game made by a pair of very talented designers. The graphics are top notch and some of the best I have ever seen in an independent game.

This is a fast paced, high adrenaline experience that manages to really impress.

All in all FaceBreaker K.O Party is a decent Wii boxing game. Its definitely not up to standards with the Fight Night series, but it also doesn’t strive to be.

Call of Duty: World at War I believe will surprise gamers with how complete of an experience it is.

However the final results is an underwhelming first person shooter that lacks clear direction and character.

Resistance 2 improves on an already great title with a fun campaign and competitive multiplayer and fantastic cooperative play.

Fallout 3 is a fantastic game that was well worth the hype and the wait.

Overall FIFA 09 All-Play is a very solid FIFA game that doesn’t stretch its boundaries too far to go out of the ordinary, but makes a pretty fun game.

The best game I’ve played all year. It is an extremely fun platformer with stunning graphics not to mention the most extensive level creation tool I’ve ever seen.

There are some minor issues with this game, but if your a Guitar Hero fan ready to make the transition to the entire band experience Guitar Hero: World Tour is a fantastic option and definitely worth a look.

Bioshock is an absolutely fantastic game and one of the best of this generation first on the 360, and now just as good on the PS3.

Sadly SOCOM Confrontation is a disappointment given the fact that it feels like an unfinished and rushed game. The gameplay is generally solid, but also unchanged from previous installments, but server issues have held it back from being playable for the most part.

Saints Row 2 is not without its flaws, but the game is so deep, and has so much content that any fan of the previous game or GTA games will have a lot to look forward to in Saints Row 2.

However everything seems to have been improved for this year’s game, and to me if your looking for a fun light hearted football experience you really cannot beat picking up Blitz: The League II.

NBA 2K9 comes as another solid outing for 2K Sports, its not a huge leap forward like some of us would expect.

NBA Live 09 is the real deal when it comes to a great video game basketball experience. There isn’t a new mode that takes the game over the top, or a new feature that makes it best out there, but it is the combination of a vision and the hard work to get through some rough years to get to this game which is by far the best NBA Live game I have played in a long, long time.

Game Party 2 is not a game I could ever recommend for any Wii owner and is just another horrible mini-game style arcade game that relies solely on the Wii remote to make it fun.

Wipeout HD is a budget priced game that has more than enough content for a full price, and some of the best visuals out there to date.

If you liked the old Mega Man games then you probably already bought this, but if not do it immediately, and if you have never played one before, it’s a good time to start.

The style is superb, and the gameplay flows right along with it to make Pure one of the few “must have” racing games in recent time.

If your even somewhat a fan of game shows or even the Buzz! franchise, Buzz! Quiz TV is a must have game this holiday season.

All in all RocketBowl has a great idea of what a bowling game can do to appeal to someone who isn’t a big fan of the sport, but fails to use it at any level.

NA iMPACT! is a very successful first outing for Midway, its not perfect, and it may not be able to compete with WWE on its first outing, but for its first outing it does so many things right that if your a fan of wrestling games I would still recommend this game even with its short comings.

If you have sat a few years out on the franchise or even if your a regular NHL fan, NHL 09 is a game that all sports fans need to check out.

If your a big 2K hockey fan your probably still going to want to pick this up, but if your just looking for the best hockey title of the year, this one doesn’t take top billing.

Sure Spore may not be the perfect game but its an amazing accomplishment and one that I think everyone should really check out.

Its a shame to say that FaceBreaker really was a disappointment.

The game in general though is just a whole lot of fun.

The Last Guy is in no way a bad game. It is just too much of a love it or hate it title to recommend to all, and the best way to decide is to play the demo.

Chances are owners of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will probably be more then happy just hanging onto that version of the game. The additions to this year’s game aren’t such that make you want to run out and buy the game.

All aspects of the game are refined and improved and the change from heavy shooter to more platforming gameplay is a welcomed and refreshing change.

There is no doubt that Bionic Commando Rearmed is the best title out on XBLA to date.

Madden 09 is a great sports game with its only major flaw being one of many sports games, and that is that it didn’t change drastically from the previous year.

At the bargain price of $9.99 there is no reason you should not pick up this game.

Siren is a game that was an experiment of sorts in the realm of downloadable and episodic games. I would have to say on most accounts that the game failed.

If you have a Wii and are looking for a simple fun game to keep you entertained go out and rent Order Up! but for someone looking to buy this one won’t keep you busy for long.

Overall We Love Golf! turned out to be another middle of the road Wii title that this time actually made use of the systems controls, but forgot to put in the whole package.

This is really a game to check out if your a fan of the genre or series as it is by far the best Battlefield game to grace the consoles yet.

2K Sports has done Top Spin 3 a great service with a lot of the improvements that the game has gotten.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is essentially the best game out there on the PS3, and can easily compete with any other game on any system.

But in terms of filling more then just a void in the market, Prizefighter doesn’t manage to live up to expectations.

NASCAR 09 had a great opportunity to really take the NASCAR franchise for EA to the next level but in my opinion it did the opposite and went in the wrong direction. NASCAR 09 isn’t a bad game it just unfortunately doesn’t have the necessary elements to really do justice to the sport of NASCAR.

Grid doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel but instead builds around it and attempts to improve it, and in the end succeeds in making one of the most enjoyable racing games I have played in years.

If your alright with renting the game, it might be a better idea given the games short length, otherwise this really is a pretty solid game that’s worth a look.

If you enjoyed the original and are wondering if this is a worthy successor my answer would be absolutely there is plenty of new content, and the online play is quite the treat.

The single player isn’t anything to really spend to much time with but the online play is good enough to come back to over and over again.

This is just a game that was set to have high expectations and unfortunately was unable to capitalize on these high hopes and came out with a pretty down the middle experience.

However in the end if your wondering if its time to upgrade to the Playstation 3 version of Singstar, this first entry is a great start and just show’s all of the great that is to come from Singstar on the PS3 in the future.

What it all comes down to is the fact that UEFA Euro 2008 is trying to hit a specific market, and although the market for the game may not be as big here in the United States as it is over the pond, I believe that if soccer fans give this a try they will not only enjoy this game but also give some interest into this year’s UEFA tournament.

This is not a perfect game, it has some issues, and could have used a bit more work, but in the end it still is enjoyable enough to be worth a rental.

I was not one that thought Steven Spielberg’s first outing was going to be a stellar one, but boy did he and EA prove me wrong.

Grand Theft Auto IV is by far the most complete package I have seen in the last five to ten years.

Target: Terror could be in the running for most pathetic game of the year and I think thats what the developers were shooting for.

A trip back to the drawing board would probably be the best bet for the developers as this is a game that has some good intentions but not great execution.

As good as the game could have been, you cannot manage to overlook the fact that the experience just isn't up to par with other basketball games that are out there right now.

As much as Battle of the Bands could have been, it ends up being a game that takes good ideas from other games, adds the very odd weapons, and gives a lackluster performance.

If you're a huge Gran Turismo fan and can't wait for the full version, there is no reason not to pick this game up, if for nothing else to really show off your HDTV.

If you like the song list and you like Singstar titles there is no reason why you should not pick up this game.

In video games there are still times where you're going to be surprised, and I was pleasantly surprised with Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds for the PS3 as it really gives a great arcade golf package.

Whether a big fan, or just someone who is interested to see what all the fuss is about, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 delivers a stellar experience.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot is another solid outing for Monolith and SEGA.

If you like co-op, and don't mind not having a single player, Army of Two for the PS3 is a great game that is worth checking out.

Fans of God of War are going to eat this game up. It really is the complete package just on a smaller screen.

If you're a fan of GTA, then Bully: Scholarship Edition is a game that you should at least check and give a chance, it will surprise you.

MLB 08: The Show is the best baseball game on the market this year, hands down.

You could see the developers had high hopes for a lot of the new functionality of the game, but when it is all said and done, everything doesn't gel together all that well.

The only problem is it has to be fun, and Lost: Via Domus is just not.

As a fighter on the DS however it makes great strides in the right direction and if you're a fan of the show or previous games, this is a great game to go check out.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is not the best FPS on the Xbox 360, its just not in that league. However if your beginning to want a new experience, this is a game that would make a great choice to turn to.

The Club was a pleasant surprise. It's a guns blazing light hearted action experience that may not be the best shooter out there but it doesn't have to be.

If you're a soccer fan you got to go out and try this game, it's actually quite entertaining especially if you play online or have some friends over.

If you're a fan of the fast paced racing then WipEout Pulse is a must have for your PSP.

Turok is one of those games that has the potential of greatness on the Playstation 3. However even with the potential, you have to capitalize on it, and this is not a game that does that.

It is a shame to say that Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition wasn't able to recapture the same great flare that the PSP version had

If you like Bomberman, there is no reason not to check this game out, it's a perfect weekend rental.

This isn't a huge leap forward, it is more of a gracious step forward that offers enough to keep the game at status quo. This game doesn't reinvent the wheel, it just improves the wheel to last longer and perform better.

Burnout Paradise is the first great game of 2008. It has all the makings of one of the best the Burnout series has seen, and if improved upon for next year could be the best Burnout yet.
