With some polish, Factotum could have become a decent puzzle game.

It's not clear whether Arc System Works was aiming for a 2D Batman: Arkham Asylum with swords and fell way short; if they were aiming for a straightforward beat 'em up and were distracted by the swords (since, evidently, any game with swords must contain a levelling system); or whether they pulled idea balls out of the manatee tank.

Mercenaries Saga 2 is designed with fans of turn-based strategy games in mind. It doesn't push the genre to its limits or even offer anything particularly new, but it's a solid addition nonetheless.

Karous: The Beast of Re:Eden is fun in small doses, at least until the extreme difficulty destroys what remained of the entertainment value.

Kung Fu FIGHT! is a worthy little time waster that does not insult the intelligence of the customer and manages to actually deliver a solid product for a low price.

Wind-Up Knight 2 is well above the competition of temple runners, but it doesn't pack the weight of a more standardised release.

Endless Golf is probably one of the worst games to be released on a Nintendo console.

Atlus doesn't reinvent the Etrian Odyssey wheel with 2 Untold, but it does build on what made the first release so much fun, without making any readily apparent sacrifices.

3D Streets of Rage 2 on Nintendo 3DS eShop improves upon its roots in numerous ways - better combat, better performance, larger sprites.

It clearly has its flaws, and pretty standout ones at that, and the overall atmosphere of the game is a bit too far into the cliché area of the JRPG genre, and yet, it has its moments where it shines.

A delightful knitted theme makes Yoshi's Woolly World a true joy to play, as everything from Yoshi and his various abilities, to the landscapes and elemental hazards, is beautifully rendered.

It has a lot going for it with its gorgeous aesthetics and authentic presentation. It even has a couch co-op mode, and the few times the game does have things to do in it, there is some legitimate involvement. Too bad these moments are too far apart, and the more vulgar qualities of Never Alone are the most apparent, such as the buggy AI, barren level design and lacking gameplay.

Don't Crash should be skipped and is not even worth buying as a novelty so-bad-it's-good type game.

This is a very rough and slapped together product and if bought at the introductory lower price, it is at least fair.

At its low price it comes highly recommended to people looking for a pure arcade experience on their console that is not pinball.

While it is a ho-hum entry in the Zen Pinball oeuvre, this is still worth the low price, since the game is competent and isn't insulting. It is, however, unimaginative and kind of cheap considering the tie-in property it is attached to.

Although slower-paced than the likes of After Burner, and less flashy at first glance, 3D Thunder Blade offers a more varied selection of environments and more visual details making the setting of the game more visually appealing, if not by the sensations it provides.

Its simple design and perfectly-balanced difficulty level mean that it's sure to resonate with players of all skill levels, and whether it's being chipped away at during morning commutes or digested in its entirety over a weekend, Qbby's tale shows that a minimalistic game can be just as satisfying as a triple-A title.

Nintendo have taken a risk with a new and original concept, particularly within a difficult market to crack. Effortlessly charming, compelling and a solid start to what may well become one of the company's regular franchises.

There's not enough originality to make this an amazing game, but the amount of spirit put into what it does offer, coupled with the depth of the cooking system and the volume of gameplay time makes this a solid RPG and a fun simulator.

There are a lot of classic RPGs out there on PSN and the Wii U's eShop and many of them are definitely worth playing, but Alphadia Genesis is not one of those - unless there is an insatiable desperation for a turn-based RPG, that is.

Although there is a quality campaign to be enjoyed, it is little more than a way to unlock all the factions, units, abilities, and spells to be used in the skirmish modes, because the skirmishing is where Swords & Soldiers II really shines.

Steven Jenkins does have some interesting ideas and he really should continue developing more because High Strangeness does show promise. Perhaps with a bit more careful planning and more focused management, he can deliver a game that satisfies all his narrative goals, since this seems surprisingly rushed.
