FIFA 13 is by no means the most incompetent of football titles on the market, but it is certainly not a patch on Konami's revived Pro Evolution Soccer series. With a somewhat frustrating updated play mechanic and shoddy presentation it is bad enough. The fact that this is the exact same game as last year's FIFA 12 merely adds insult to injury.

Dot Runner: Complete Edition is by no means a bad game, it's just that some of its features could have been implemented better. If players like 2D top-down puzzle games with a challenge, or if a fan of Intense's past works, such as Escape Trick, then go right ahead and buy it. If not, then you might as well look elsewhere since this can be a very frustrating and unfulfilling ride.

Konami shoots and scores with Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 3D, showing EA how it should be done. From the wide array of modes that mimic the home console versions to the technical quality and extras that make this 3DS version stand out, this proves to be the ultimate portable football experience for all fans of the sport.

Whilst moderately addictive at first, Gogo's Crazy Bones does not reach the same level of addictiveness as Angry Birds, with not as much variety included for the higher price. The concept works in principle, but sadly some of the allure of the mobile phone-based title it sources is lost in this DS version of the theme.

Hotel Transylvania is a tightly woven platform adventure full of accurate jumps, clever abilities, and brings the characters from the amusing movie to life. However, constant back-tracking and uninventive fetch missions mar the experience somewhat.

50 Classic Games on Nintendo 3DS shows that cerasus.media definitely knows how to collect an intriguing bunch of family favourites from over the years. However, with no multiplayer options, no online features, and in some cases no reason to even challenge certain 'attractions,' it means that what was potentially a must-have compilation of classics instead turns out to be a mish-mash of styles that merely passes the time but lacks the draw for long-term play with friends and family.

Wreck-It Ralph is a solid platform adventure with a few enjoyable character-swapping puzzles thrown in. Unfortunately, it is over before it begins, lacks any multiplayer, skimps on the extras, and generally runs out of steam in the creative stakes. Whilst competent for the most part, it really does feel like a missed opportunity, especially given the amount of cameos that made it into the film but are absent here.

While it certainly isn't an abysmal game, thanks to a few redeeming factors, it's obviously a massive disappointment coming from Sakaguchi who had made some great classics in the Final Fantasy series and who later gave us the incredibly good The Last Story on Wii.

Lola's Math Train is a great little educational title on the Nintendo 3DS eShop and will help youngsters develop their numerical skills in a variety of ways that both entertain and educate at the same time whilst proving to be neither patronising nor frustrating. Its focus is clear and it delivers in a smart way that will hopefully keep children on the right track.

Ultimately, The Croods: Prehistoric Party is simply a very disappointing experience plagued by bad game design and control issues.

It is a decent downloadable snow-based racer that offers enough bang for a fiver to excuse visual and audio difficulties. A good choice for a quick pick up and play game.

Toki Tori is still the challenging mix of platforming and puzzles that we knew and loved, even more so in this new Wii U version with the few little improvements bringing the experience to a whole new level of enjoyment.

Summing up, Brunch Panic does what it sets out to do very well. It offers a few hours of fun tap and swipe gameplay that's easy to pick up, albeit one that should be enjoyed in short bursts due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay.

Wakedas is another alternative to the numerous puzzle games out there on the Nintendo 3DS today, offering a decent option for those that like Rubik's Cube-type games or grid-based puzzle solving.

Parents should not have any concerns about picking this Nintendo DS title up for their children, and big kids might have a good time with it as well!

However, this solid Match-3 title has hidden levels of charm and challenge, and with voice acting from the stars of the movie it is based upon, as well as cute representations of the key characters, this will keep the teen audience sufficiently busy…and possibly even their parents!

With no online multiplayer and its very flimsy Grand Prix tour, there is no way Family Kart 3D could ever strive for Mario Kart 7's throne, but in all honesty it doesn't even seem to aim so high. It's a little, flippant alternative to the more eminent Nintendo hit, and indeed a solid and enjoyable diversion for any kart racing fan out there.

From the great use of the source material, to the excellent visual and audio rendition of the universe of the The Walking Dead: Season One in a pinball machine, The Walking Dead Pinball is a lot of fun, and not just for pinball aficionados; it should also usher in fans of The Walking Dead, whether it be the TV series, the comic or Telltale Games' own take on the franchise.

It provides the full responsibilities of looking after a pet with absolutely none of the reward. Most other animal games deliver that reward through relationship building with a pet as its partner and from watching it grow, but this game completely and utterly destroys that image.

The only people that would really enjoy this are hardcore fans of the genre who want to see where it came from, or fans of the original who want it on their 3DS with a minimal 3D display.
