If you’re looking for a RPG that has most of the same components as other games but with a deep and intriguing storyline, then I would highly recommend this game to you.

Fast-paced as it may be, the fighting in Empire is not exactly cerebral.

Technically splendid, but lacks the soul and the focus that made its previous games such powerful experiences.

For all the things that don't work well, the exciting combat and deep world make KAR a very worthy game to play. It's a shame Electronic Arts is doing such a poor job of promoting it, as there is enough here to make the foundation of a very solid franchise.

Borderlands has more weaknesses than strengths, but the few strengths it has absolutely overwhelm most of the problems the game has.

Even with its smaller scope and its similarities to its year-old predecessor, Napoleon is a better, more polished game.

This kind of depth hurls Dungeon Defenders far past the typical tower defense game.

Another reason I like this game is because there is a number of ways to go about playing it. You can be aggressive and pick the soldiers for that, or you can be stealthy and snipe through your missions.

I do have to admit that this episode appeared more focused, better paced, and almost felt like it had a bit more of a challenge/content level than the previous episodes.

Dead Island is absolutely a fun and very playable game and worth the money, even if it lacks the incredible detail and more serious challenge of Dead Rising 2. Dead Island may lack new ideas, but it makes up for it with simple playability, and often that's all anyone wants in a game.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena has a lot of content to shuffle through, especially if you’ve never played Escape, so it’s totally worth getting.

What I didn’t love was the mediocre multiplayer component, which was purely a deathmatch fest with a single game mode.

My only issue with it, honestly, is that DICE hasn’t really made an effort to change anything substantial about the game in five years.

It has morphed from a wide-open, somewhat abstract tactical simulation to a linear action game with squad elements tacked on. It's a sad symptom of a franchise that used to be focused on providing entertaining white-knuckle tactical shooters and is now focused on providing whatever sells best.

This, to me, is the pinnacle of arcade racing on the PC, and I honestly don’t have the interest or will to play anything else, and I doubt I can find a finer product. I think Nadeo have done what they could with the series, and other developers should take note: this is how you make a game.
